    Sugared Cardamom

Oh wow, I nearly melted into a puddle with this one. Wet: It's very faint cardamom and sugar. I could barely smell anything. Dry: It blooms into a gorgeous, edible spiciness that's soft (not at all in your face) but evelopes you as almost a skin scent. 12 hours(!) later, it was still there, and just as beautiful as at the beginning. Yes, this is on the bottle list.
  2. This is so well-named! It's sweet, warm, quiet, and comforting. It honestly smells too good to wear to bed, but I did. I slept wonderfully, with nice dreams. I thought about slathering it on to wear during the day, but no. This is a bedtime blend, and as soothing as a cup of warm milk and honey.
  3. Yes--it is beautiful! I get lots and lots of honey, along with something that smells exactly like the milky note in Hathor. It lasted for at least 12 hours, fading into a honey single note on me, which was nice to wake up to!
  4. This is so lovely! Wet: It's a true chrysanthemum mixed with sugary sweetness. The two are nicely balanced. Dry: It settles into a gorgeous, warm, sweet floral. This may be the most classically perfumey Love Potion blend I've tried so far. It lasts for hours, but stays close to the skin and is beautiful and comforting at the same time. I'm really enjoying this one!
  5. I am really enjoying this! It does smell precisiely like a rootbeer float in the vial and wet, right down to the fizz of the soda. After it dries, it becomes a heavenly creamy vanilla with a hint of sassafras. Love it!
  6. When I first tried this, I wasn't that impressed--However, if I wasn't impressed, why was my wrist glued to my face? And why did I go out of my way to keep trying it? It's sweet, sugary, creamy, spicy and fruity but not cloying or overwhelming in the least. I love it--it lasts and lasts, and settles into a warm sweet scent that I could bathe in. In fact, I was so unimpressed that I got a bottle.
  7. I also get a purely white sugar scent. This is wonderful on its own, and certainly as a layering note it will sweeten up any fragrance, unobtrusively.
  8. I should just get a bottle of every single version of Love Potion as soon as it comes out. This one reminds me of my beloved Sugared Honeycomb, but better (yes, apparently that is possible!). It's sweet and rich, with a breath of incense. It is buttery in an almost foody way, or perhaps those are nuts I smell... If this was a color, it would be the deep orange/gold of an Autumn sunset. (Or a pumpkin patch. Or the Harvest Moon.) Maybe all of those together. I adore it, and must have more!!
  9. I have to try them all--they look fantastic, probably smell even better, and the labels are awesome!
  10. Let me preface this by saying I'm a FOOL for carnations. I cannot resist them in a perfume, ever. Sugared carnations is gorgeous. Sweet and spicy and drop-dead gorgeous. It's not a strong fragrance, but it lasts for hours. The sugar and carnation blend together for a sweet, girly blend that is still sexy. I love it!

    Yule Snuggle

I can't really add to the above review, except to say that Yule Snuggle is one of the nicest, warmest holiday blends I've smelled. It made me smile. Lemony cookies and something I can't place but smells festive and comforting at the same time. Love it!

    Sugared Honeycomb

Sugared Honeycomb Verrrrrry sexy! The scent of rich and thick late-summer honeycomb, mixed with our delicious blend of 5 sugars. Honey fans know that this particular type of honey smells very similar to the scent of "female musk". You must be daring to wear this scent, as it truly smells like "sex", and drives most men totally bonkers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Magickal Meanings of Ingredients: HONEY ~ Enticing, seductive; use to bewitch a straying or hesitant lover. Happiness, fulfillment. SUGAR ~ Attracts love, luck, sweetness and riches. Lust inducing, wishes granted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Caution--Semicoherent gushing ahead. This one knocked me out! I wasn't expecting anything more than a basic honey scent, but holy cow! Wet: Honey, but deep and rich and buttery. Swoon-worthy even at this point. I swear I got a little lightheaded just sniffing the vial. Dry: If possible even deeper, sweeter and richer. This smells so fantastic! Sexy? Oh yeah. Delicious? You bet. This is a very warm, rich scent, but I had no problem wearing it in the summer. In the fall and winter it will be even better (if that's possible). I think I might need a second bottle, because it's so unbelievably good.
  13. Hi! I joined this forum at the beginning of the Summer, but have just now gotten around to posting here. I'm a member of the BPAL forum and the Possets forum, and I'm Gale there as well, Gale being my name and all. I recognize quite a few folks here, so well met!
  14. I really love LP Black--as much as the original. It reminds me very much of the original LP, but darker (well, duh). It's warm and sweet and just beautiful. I think "sexed up buttercreme" is a perfect description. I will switch on and off between LP original and Black, they're both so good!
