Thanks for making all the scents absolutely spot on PERFECT. (And Lorien is from Lothlorien, one of the lands of the elves from Lord of the Rings. Liz your fun! I want YOUR perfume too. Saw it last night. I'm havin my car fixed. But I had 5 scents made. Wish you'd have got all of em.. But I have samples of em and Im gonna order more of my own stuff(is that how this works?), so maybe you'll get to smell em all. And yes my name is LORIEN. Another Sample I got is labled "Springtime in the Valley" it's sugared jasmine, roses, and orange blossom. I don't know who created this, but it's a beauty. If you like florals, you'll love this, it's very fresh and pretty. You can pick put each flower, as well as something 'extra' that I wouldn't call sugar...it really does smell like a spring garden. Lovely. Who made this? Take a bow, you!

Hey! I'm Mrs. Kravitz now! Right on! You all know where the inspiration for Sugared Twilight came from, right?! Maybe some of you got She Wolf too? They are based on the books. Sugared Twilight is the Vampire, Edward Cullen and She Wolf is A femmed up version of Jacob Black the Werewolf. That's where the INSPIRATION for those scents came from anyway. The names have been changed to protect the innocent, and both slighty girlyed up, cause I'm a girl. But I love those books.

Um. I LOVE YOU! BOTH of you. I've been composing a gigantic thank you email all night, Mara and Sinister. You really helped bring that vision to life. And I'm really glad other people like it too. Helping design a perfume is like a dream...I'm serious. Now that I've read this post I'm off in lala land. It's surreal. Many thanks in other ways as well, you two. Your emails comin!

Oh, CH I'm not gonna yell at you! Belive me, I've considerd the lawyer thing but that's GOT to be a last and most desperate measure as it will no doubt turn that whole side of my family to shreds. That's not something I want. I'm really hoping for another out; a letter( where he can't cut me off or overtalk me), and a talk with my Aunt(not his wife, but my Dads sister), are a start. I'm lookin for a phero boost, and hoping a pro does see this.. But thanks for the advice so far ladies!

Ok, short version. My very hard headed uncle is holding my dad's inheritance money over my head. I'm almost 30. I was so overwhelmed by his passing, that I'm not sure how the money got all tied up in his name to begin with, but it is. I called yesterday for some assistance and he said no. Not till I prove myself a worthy adult. Mind you I'm a full time 40 hour a week student and I have a letter from my shrink saying I've made marked improvements in other areas. I meet with my uncle at the end of the month, to go over taxes, ect. Alot of my plans have changed since losing dad, but the point is, I am an adult, and that isn't his money. I love my uncle and I know he thinks he's doing the right thing, but I say it's time to cut the cord and let me live my life. I've stated that, to no avail. So I'm going to send him a letter with my perspective, and when I meet him at the end of the month I'm thinkin of wearing a dominance phero. Do they work on other strong willed hot heads? Or will this just create a bigger pissing contest? Help! Lori.

Today it's 66 degrees in Detroit after a long winter that ain't over yet. But today it feels like spring for the first time all year. I'm taking a ride to the middle Eastern restaraunt to get food for me and the hung over boyfriend. On the way, the kids are let out of school, a cute Latino family is walking thier dog,the crossing guards let a laughing bunch of Indian girls in bright head shawls go skipping accross the road. My neighborhood is the melting pot, it's one of the reasons I like it here. There's no jackets today, just smiles. My windows are down and I'm sunwarmed, windblown, peaceful for once. Then 'Ray's' Dump Truck spews a tangible cloud of exhaust fumes in my face, I don't even mind. Spring is coming and Ray's exhaust fumes nor that crabby man in the bedroom will get me down today. I drop off the car and stroll up to the gas station for some pop, come home through the graffitited alley, takin it all in. The city has a beauty all it's own. Then I come home with the goods and a package from dear Therapygirl has arrived. Heartland. I roll it on and wait. ----it feels like today in a bottle! Everything still brown, grassy,a bit dirty even, but brown with the promise of spring-the promise of more. It's a very euphoric scent to me. More than picking apart the notes of this one, to me it's a scent that takes you back to a place or a memory, somewhere you've been before. I love it. I know it's meant to convey Americas Heartland and Midwest farms and such, but to me, it conveys the fact that Americas Heartland is wherever you call home. Beautiful job, ladies. Hats off! I will say the drydown reminds me of a soft version of a classic perfume (like Enjoli), which is lovely and reminicsent in it's own right as well!

So I got coffeemama's bottle of 976 Girl. It's my very FIRST in a long line of LP's. Yay! And I love it! I barely get any lemon. Maybe a smidge when wet. And then it promptly turns to incense. I don't have this Nile temple stuff, but it turns to a lovely, smokey BURNING incense. Spicy and beautiful, reminds me of new age crystal shops,indeed, as another reviewer said. Often I'm promised a smoke note by a company, this is the first time it's ever been delivered realistically. This beauty stays linear on me until the drydown- on which I get---cola! I do, I swear. On my skin this dries down to fizzy cola(the brown kind in case your from the south and call all your pop 'cola'--I tease you, my familys from the south that's how I know). And the cola smells lovely too! So my first LP was a beeeyoootiful experience. I'm very happy with this and can't wait to get my hands on more! :msn_red_fox_smilies-09:
