a belated welcome to you!! i used to be a nightclub bartender for about 8 years...what a fun time i had. lots of money, good times, totally hedonistic. when you're young, it's a great way to develop tons of self confidence, network and if you are smart put some $$$ away, which sadly i didn't. word from the wise:if you start making obscene amounts of money, remember don't blow it daily. even if u set a rule up to put away as little as 20/30$ per shift away, over the years, it will add up honey. i got caught up in the 'lifestyle'; restaurants, massive tipping, nightclubbing...you always say to yourself, 'hey, i can buy that 800$ leather jacket, i'll make it up in tips on friday and saturday'. it doesn't last, truly. if you don't plan for ahead, you may find out that you've gotten older, spent all your cash on pleasures and are simply left with the memories of 'good times'...which don't pay the bills. rock it out reviva, have some fun and be smarter than i was as a bartender! PS: if u had to pick a male LP fragrance as an all time gorgeous male scent which one would it be? I ask because I would like to buy one for my sexy man.

sweetie, i don't have any advice about phero usage re: this situation. if i'm crossing a line please feel free to yell at me! i wonder if you should get yourself a lawyer. Not too sure about the US, but in Canada as a student you'd qualify for legal aid. it can be a tough step to take, using a lawyer but often it can help to represent Your rights. Just an idea!

there is something seriosly wrong with me. i have my empty tiny sample vial of aura armour by the computer (having injected every little drop left into my jugular); here i sit, with the vial crammed up my nose just to smell it. help me. as one of my clients once said (i used to work w/ adults w/ developmental disabilities, for going on 10 years): patience is a virgin. she was the funniest gal i ever worked with.

...too new to answer this question, but sug. roses and rose cookies sound like a fab duo. i have sug. roses sample and a bottle of sug. honeycomb twinkle toe-ing it to me eventually. def. going to try mixing those two.

i'm wearing this right now, it was one of the tiny samples that the LP perfumanista's generously added to my 1st order. i have no more aura armour, having injected it into my nose last night, thought i'd wear this today. it smells like it's title, tea, lovely tea. with bergamont (sp?). lemons, but not excessively. in the bottle the scent is bracing and bright, i really enjoyed sniffing it and did so repeatedly. it's got an 'up' feeling attached to it when sniffing. a 'good-morning"! feel to it. surprisingly, once it dried down and became one with my chemistry, i couldn't help but think, "what? chanel #5"?! it's probably me, but i really do smell like #5. not EXACTLY, but enough to memory trigger-scent me. it becomes much softer, and almost powdery, in a chanel way! what i like so much is the melding od individual scents that occur with this one, like aura armour, it blossoms into a classic scent, all the individual notes merge into a gentle feminine fragrance. if i had more money i would buy this as a bottle.

eep, liz is correctomundo! i, in a fit of insane greediness nabbed the last 2 bottles of :msn_red_fox_smilies-09: AURA ARMOUR. I'm sorry darbla and pinup!!!! hey, i really don't know what i'm talking about when i say this (meaning i've never done it before), but i could DECANT (ooooh, i'm so LP now!) some of the aura armour into testers for you gals if someone could tell me how the heck one goes about doing this. for free too. just want to share the looooove. i don't know when i'm getting my box o' lovelies....i put 4 seperate orders in to M & D, about 2/3 days apart-ish. i wonder if they just give up and wait for 'compulsives' like me to stop ordering for a bit until they send all the orders together. hmmmmm.... yes! i think aura armour should be a permanent oil here. it is SUBLIME.

it's an adaptable little sucker! lotion, yes, good idea. i have a little one of dreams of avalon too, i can see how aura armour would layer well with it. not too into dreams of avalon, it's nice but doesn't 'bloom' into the gorgeousness that aura armour does. a.armour is really special. my virgin nose smells a lilac-like scent when wet but i get it now, bamboo for sure, not lilac. i never knew i liked bamboo. after it warms up and the bamboo stops being so prominent, that's when i fall in love with aura armour. it'll be a long two week wait for these 2 bottles to show up.

hiya SB, what else would you recomend layering it with? it is perfect just as it is, i do notice that it's fading on me quite fast. luckily i've 2 coming, so i can reapply over and over. my skin is bad at eating perfume, LP oils lie really close to my skin after settling down; even LP black. they're different from my regular eau de toilettes which last longer on me. even my saudi oils last a very long time. i LOVE these oils here but do have to touch them up alot.

i salute u ajia, and all other mums with more than 1. i'm tearing my hair out with my son and he's not even 2 yet! the pediatrician said...'little guys like this, their intensity, business, independence and willfulness, well, just wait, it will pay off when he's grown-up. my son was like this and now he's a lawyer" how fab for her. i still have to change this man's diapers, future brilliance aside, i may be in an institution by the time he's in university!! i have a onesie that doesn't fit anymore that my sis had made for dominic when he was 5/6 months...'i'm the reason mummy drinks'. here's to vodka!

OMG, is this sold out? i'll check it out in the shoppe. i bet it is tho'. grrr. this is a tiny sample m&d threw in for me. i woke up and swiped some on my wrists,etc. so opposite of my new amours, LP black, LP LE w BI...it reminds me a bit of body shop white musk, but a million times better. i actually thought 'lilac; when i put it on, i see SB listed the ingredients and there isn't any. tres bizarre. maybe its the combo of oak moss, bamboo and heather. aaaah, this is so feminine, without the girly lily of the valley innocence. i swear if it is sold out, i would be willing to pay el top dollaro for a full bottle if anyone is willing!!!!!! big samples? i'll throw in my 17 month old!!!! (a little fed-up mama humour).

I LOOOOOOOVVVVEEEE this one. i compulsively bring my wrist up to my nose over and over again to smell this gorgeous scent. i could eat it. heavy duty stuff, this is. yummo.

yum, yum, yum, yum,yum! it's screaming something alright dolly! it must be imprinting but i keep getting passionfruit in my initial application, very fine by me as i love it and am no longer bothered by the 'skunky' smell i smelled on first application. really, i only have a tiny smidgen of it left in my sample, i've worn it pretty much everyday and have only had the vial for a week and a half. no problemo, have a bottle ordered and on it's way. i love this scent, it's delicious and addictve. i have to reapply alot though. could be my nose or my new addiction, not sure! i have detected a lovely soft incense base towards the end of it's scent, (base note)? the incense is tempered with sweetness and i wonder, musk? don't quote me. i LOVE this scent. Lord, I already have 3 orders coming but may have to stock up on this!

note: found out that civet is a musk, valued as a stabilizer and scent from the cat-like civet mammal. oh my, it has to get harvested from their glands, and now the practice is to not kill the little guys and remove the gland but instead harvest it from the live animal (maybe like excreting dogs anal glands when they get plugged? ugh, i know, my rottie had to have it done once, poor lady, she lost her dignity in the vets office)! Now they have a synthetic civet, and most perfumers use it.

...got a sample of this in my first order. Sigh, this one didn't work for me. I appreciate it, in the bottle it smells so unique, the dirt, sexy concept is really there, i understood the combo of whiskey, leather, wood, spices. when i wore it it changed, I actually couldn't get passed the idea that i smelled like molasses (in a bitter way) and black licorice (which i'm not fond of) with a smidgen of smoke. Those two smells stayed on me throughout, it didn't morph into anything else. I wonder, is 'civet' derived from cat urine, don't know if i am making this up. i should google civet. perhaps thats what doesn't agree w/ me. i don't particularly know if amber works on me or not, i have a HUGE order on its way and i know lots of samples in it have amber, so i'll be able to check if amber turns bitter on me. i am in love with LP black, a bottle is on its way, it covers the sexy-delicious thing i'm going for, ha. based on dolly and everyone else i ordered a bottle of sug. honeycomb for that super sexy thang, plus a bottle of SS4W-oh well i guess i don't need to smell like a smokey, teak-lovin' whiskey-chuggin' girl who wears amber and hangs out at the bar. but i wanted too!

yes, this scent does change from sweet apple to a cleaner crisper apple once it dried on my skin. To me, it's very subtle, 'clean' comes to mind. It does the same thing on me as it does to Poenari. The apple doesn't dominate at all on me, just gives this scent it's clean smell. very much a daytime fragrance.

...this was a sample i ordered and i wore it all day. my boyfriend was home all day as well so I really kept my senses tuned into him, to see if the BI in it would tweak him. I am TOTALLY new to this pheromone thingey, but i think there was something going on. I didn't get a 'blatent invitation' from him, we're having some problems together right now ( not serious, mostly, work, baby, 'where are we going'? kinda stuff). Strangely, he was very sweet, kind and helpful today, in a state like we're in right now he usually withdrawls and stonewalls me. hmmm. i wonder if blatant invitation can turn into cuddle bunny or some sort of 'chivalrous/nesting' phero if there's trouble brewing in a relationship? If he wanted to rip my clothes off he hid it well! But, he was suspiciously gentle. Do you guys think that happened or did i run off into imagination land? Regarding the scent: i like it ALOT. Wasn't to interested in all the LP's like red gold original, etc. (I bought the black as a bottle- it is gorgeous). When i put it on it i did crinkle my nose, i must of got my first whiff of pheros, because there was a subtle, skunkiness. That settled down after 5/10 mins, then what i smelled was what I would say fresh-squeezed passion fruit really tastes like ( i used to drink it EVERYDAY in africa. To my layman's nose this must be the apricot. This scent gets better and better throughout the day, yes it does get perfectly creamy and vanilla-ish but in such a unique way. the apricot died down within the first hour. i'm gonna buy a full bottle. yup.

good idea on both counts-i'll try them both tonight. i would love a scent/perfume locket but, can u believe it i've googled them to death and only found one place online in canada with a few; they were pewter and not my style. i would like a sterling silver (gold really-but who can afford it)one that doesen't have fairies, wolves or the like on them. the cool ones are in the states and i got burnt pretty bad last year w/ a US jewelly store (shimmer and stone)- it was about 50$ duty on top of the one piece (dog tag necklace for my boyfriend) i bought. It's so frustrating! I didn't have to pay duty on my LP's that I just got tho'! I guess duty on smaller things is just random at canadian custom. Americans have all the great stuff! well, we do have maple syrup and alot of oil out here in Alberta, lol.

I was looking forward to wearing this one and loving it. This was part of my very first order, I bought it as a sample. I have this little box that I placed all the samples and bottle of patchouli upright in, when i get within half a foot of the box the lovely aroma of raven's secret weapon hangs in the air. None of the other oils exuded their fragrance until I actually took the vials up to my nose; this one really wants to escape! It smells deep and rich, incredibly so, also sweet in the vial. It's very intense. When I put it on, my skin turned it into a drier, more bitter version of itself. I wore it to bed as i love nag champa and east indian scents, they soothe me....raven's didn't. I appreciate the depth of the scent and do like the blend of attars and resins, sadly only in the bottle. India in a bottle, but on me it had freezer-burn. Funny how body chemistry can ruin a perfectly gorgeous, decadent scent! Sug. patchouli is too sweet on me and yet i need raven's to not lose it's sweetnes in order to smell good on me. GRRRR.. luckily, I have like, 1000 other samples and bottles en route!
