I swear, between San Diego and Los Angeles half the population must be involved in scents and pheromones.

Luna is pretty close. The rural east county mountains can get warm, but the interior valleys (La Mesa, El Cajon) get hotter than where I am (Lake Morena). That is because of altitude, 3,500 feet. San Diego County has a wide variety of climates, you start at the ocean, go through interior valleys, climb into mountains of up to 6,000 feet, then down to desert. And San Deigo County is bigger than some East coast states. I work "down the hill" in the city of San Diego, and I'm one of the very few who can call in "snowed in" during the winter. During a normal I have snow in my yard a couple of times a winter, last year, because of the drought, I didn't get any. I have a "Campo" mailing address, and Campo has an interesting history. The site of a "wild west" shoot out that was bigger than the OK Corral, and during World War it was the site of the last horse calvery base ever established by the US Army. The famous "Buffalo Soldiers" were stationed there before being shipped to Italy. Later we had a prisoner of war camp there. And Luna is correct about Julian with it's gold mines and apples.

Hi All; Normally when I arrive at a scent/pheromone related forum I just say "Hi guys, I made it". But here I see lots of new "faces", mostly belonging to the lovely ladies, though Dolly assures me there are a couple of guys here. Guess I'll need to be on my best behavior. :angel: I do see a number of old friends here, and a couple I haven't "talked to" in quite a while (Hi Ail, Dutchess, May). Anyway, a bit about me. Been interested in EO's and pheromones for a while. Joined my first forum (Love-Scent) in Feb of 2002, so been around a while. I'm a member of a number of forums. AD's, Pherotruth, thepheromone forum etc, I.m a Mod, here and there. I'm single at the moment, live in the mountains east of San Diego California. Work in the computer industry at a university, so you'll see me logged in even if I'm not paying attention (I post while waiting for programs to produce results). I'm 60 (61 on the 25th) but am often mistaken for late 30's early 40'sby the 20somethings at work. My last girlfriend was the same way. When she was in her late 50's she kept getting hit on by guys in their late 20's early 30's. I call it "lucky genes". Got to get down to the store and check out what its got, though cash is a little tight, had to take a 10% pay cut recently (California ya know) but we'll see how it goes, can't go with out the stinky water or pheromones.
