  1. Raspberry Roon LV Black Cobra LV White Cobra *I see what you did there LV. First it's pussy, now it's cobra. Heh heh heh. (will be greedy and might add more to this list when notes are posted) adding: Summer Shine Cherry Rum Yum
  2. Heh.....for someone who's "not a summer person" I sure did well. Cotton Candy Clouds, Kissed by the Sun, Moist (no matter how much that word makes me cringeI love night-blooming jasmine), Seaside Sizzle, Steamy Bikini and Summer Crush.
  3. July is my birthday month so NO RULES. Pretty sure I'll want the cotton candy one....I can't even begin to guess at the notes of the others but anything coconut and I'm in.
  4. Balm Bomb, B2, Leather, Lace, Lumina and Dom. I know that sounds like hero overload but I've been here five years and counting and I don't ever mix any of them. Balm Bomb is like the miracle non-medicinal cure for PMS edginess and anxiety. B2 also works wonders on days that I feel edgy and about to snap. The others are all confidence boosters for me. Cops strangely act as confidence boosters too, but no way am I going to pull that at the office. I already have a reputation as a geeky nerdy gothy weirdo and I don't need any more scandal on top of that.
  5. Welcome Sylvian! As one of the many, many females who populate this board I can't say I have much experience with men's pheros, but I've certainly tried and own many unisex scents. I have the type of skin that brings out sweeter elements most of the time and makes them lean towards feminine, so it works out for me. I was actually wearing Sandy Bottom yesterday and it was all beach, all the time. Anybody could pull it off regardless of gender. Also have to agree with QG on Blue. While I can't wear it myself, as soon as I find a boyfriend I'm going to do whatever I can to convince him into wearing it, I'll say that much!
  6. Bottles of Fairy Floss, Honey, Pumpkin and Raspberry Though there are still plenty more I want....Lilac, Gardenia, Plumeria, Maple, Orange, and that's probably not all of them either.
  7. Raspberry and Pumpkin (to begin with)!!! I don't normally layer, but I wonder what magic will happen when I layer those two...
  8. Oh, I'm Lady Casanova now? All the manthings out there better watch out.

And different body chemistries. While I LOVE this scent and it works very well on me, my chemistry may do things to other scents or components of scents that make them seem off. And then my skin ruins 80% of the perfumes I own when I'm PMSing. You don't comment in a review thread just to say you're terrified of something when you haven't even tried it on your skin. Also, everyone's perceptions of scent are different, just like people's perceptions of color vary (as proved by Dressgate). There is a certain kind of tact that goes with publicly reviewing. "My skin ruined it" is one thing. So is "lemongrass is not my thing". But you can't just go slamming other people's tastes when you don't know what their chemistries are like or how they perceive that scent, let alone when you haven't fully tested it yet.
  10. Balm Bomb UN Beautiful Dreamer Coquette Balm Bomb, on me at least, is the best aggravation and PMS-defyer I've ever come across. I will keep getting this stuff for the rest of my life. I'd have gallons of it delivered to my house if I could. It's that awesome. I will shamelessly plug it wherever I can.
  11. Welcome Dinah! Seems like your tastes are the exact opposite of mine (I'm huge on gourmands) but here are a few I like that fit your categories: 221B, Ghostbumps, Sex & Violins, To Soothe a Broken Heart, Unisexy.
  12. I thought I wouldn't need this one because I already have Darling Catalina. Once again, I'm very wrong. If you're a fan of Darling Clementine or Catalina, you need this one too. They're both equally delicious in their own way. Those are more cakey (why did my autocorrect just turn "cakey" into "valet"...) whe the honey and orange here really shine over a warm vanilla base. I actually don't get much pink sugar--this is all gloriously golden on me. Add to "need bottle" list.
  13. I have the original and this is pretty dead-on in comparison (maybe a tad sweeter), and with Balm Bomb! It's definitely a cousin to New with that same soft, relaxing, pleasantly powdery feel. Even though I technically have enough of the first version I may need the phero-ed version, because Balm Bomb really does calm me down. It

    Tingle Tangle

At first I get a delicious, syrupy, boozy cherry, way better than the ones in those cherry cordials. Then again maybe I haven't tried a really good cherry cordial. Anyway, it only gets better on the drydown because of that musk and pink sugar combo that blend into the cherry beautifully without being too sugary or cloying. The tanginess balancing it out probably comes from the lemon. I got a little bit of chocolate in the beginning but the cherry and pink musk are really the stars of this scent. And it lasts forever. Win!

    Elfin Plum

First of all, hello Thranduil's doppelgänger on the label.....alright I'm done. Wet, there is just a little greenness from the fig (as happens with most fig notes) but it quickly turns into a purple fig that mixes very well with the purple plum as it dries down. The vanilla in this is at the crossroads of foody and floral, not quite dessert but no flowery undertone either. I love how the musk gives it a sensual, slightly warm undertone as it dries down. It's a light musk, but it's definitely there and gives the whole scent more depth. Now can I please have Thranduil himself in a bottle?

The sweet almond really sets this apart from other eggnog scents. It starts out like a boozy almond and gradually grows softer and creamier on the drydown. I'd describe it as marzipan eggnog; it made me think of a creamier version of this almond pastry my coworker brought to work around Christmas. Maybe I'm amping the almond, but whatever might be going on with my chemistry, it's delicious.
  17. This reminds me of those chocolate-covered jelly bars I get at this amazing local candy store, except instead of raspberry the jelly is made of woodland berries that have a slightly more "holiday" feel to them. It's actually more cocoa wet, then as it dries down the berries emerge more and the notes swap spots so it's more berry with a chocolate shell like those candy bars. LadyV is right about the mulberry giving off a rose-ish vibe; I couldn't put my finger on what was ever so subtly rosy in this but now it all makes sense.

    Warm Jammies

I am a total sucker for jam cookies so I had to get this one, and it doesn't disappoint. It's even better than sticking your nose in an actual cookie because in addition to the buttery cookie and sweet-tart jam notes, it has an extra richness and creaminess to it. Like Linzer cookies on steroids. It's a warm and enveloping scent, the kind that makes you think it's just a little warmer even if it's 8 degrees outside. The problem now is, I actually have Linzer cookies downstairs and every time I smell it I'm tempted to go scarf them all.

    Pink Elf

If you like Stealing Xmas as much as I do, you're going to love this. It's like Stealing's creamier, pinker little sister. Where that one was a little more "red" and had an incense note, this one is a lighter pink that makes me think of gingerbread cake with mounds of pink frosting. There's something about the combo of gingerbread and raspberry that just gets me; it could be the interplay of sweet and tart or the unexpected mix of berry and spice that just works. There's just a dusting of spice in this, not too heavy at all, so I don't amp it to death. Love!

Right now I can't have too much caffeine, so having this on was half pleasure, half torture. Sometimes coffee notes burn off on me but this one has staying power, with that very subtle coffee bean smokiness underneath. At first the booze is really prominent but it settles into the vanilla, caramel and cream notes deliciously. I kept thinking that if this was a real drink it would probably be a thousand calories. In other words, it has my seal of approval.
  21. I don't have a horse in this race because I've forbidden myself from buying any more wax until I melt the entire hoard, but you're right, Etsy doesn't have that option. Have you ever tried BigCartel? Not sure it's an easier user experience from a seller's point of view. They do have a cart hold (which will become optional soon) though, so buyers have a certain number of minutes to make a decision and check out before items are released from their carts. The trick with Etsy is, as a buyer, it's easiest to have a credit card saved on file so you don't have to take any extra time to go through Paypal because by then some of what's in your cart may sell out. I learned this the hard way with some jewelry a while back.
  22. Really pretty scent, and I had high hopes for it since these notes are all supposed to work on me, but while it was deliciously tart wet something went a little too sweet on the drydown--I'm side-eyeing the kumquat. Still, I feel I should try it after it ages a few months because it did seem promising, like those fruit-and-cream candies I got from the Swedish candy store in the city, just a tad too sugary on my skin.
  23. There are so few scents out there with wisteria, only one of my favorite florals ever, so of course I had to get a bottle of this straight away. The wisteria definitely makes itself known, as I'd hoped for, but I can't discount the other lovely notes here either. There is plenty of peony too, pink but not too sugary, just like the flower (we grow them so I know a good peony scent when I smell one), and an undercurrent of orchid. The sugar and cream notes are gentle enough to let the flowers shine though, but not overwhelm them. This is more of a sweet, creamy floral than a cakey scent like Whoopsie Daisycake, but equally lovely. And I really want every single piece of that outfit on the label, because it would make for some awesome cosplay.
  24. Oh Dom works wonders for me, give it to me full-on and suddenly my confidence issues disappear; I stand up completely straight by default and am not intimidated by anything...anyway I digress. Deep, dark and delicious like I'd hoped. First thing that hits me is the really thick, really luscious honey, and as it dries down all the other wonderful components come into play. The caramel and vanilla are equally rich as the honey and they all swirl together with the amber, patchouli and musk into one ridiculously dense, mysterious and no doubt alluring scent--at least on me, a little goes a long way. In a way this makes me think of LP Black on steroids. If it was a cake it would have 3500 calories per serving. That is definitely a compliment.
  25. I thought my skin wouldn't like this because of the honeysuckle, and I have a history with honeysuckle (when I was a kid we had a honeysuckle vine and the nastiest wasps and hornets ever lived in that thing). I don't get honeysuckle at all! Joy! It's a little green to begin with but it dries down into the loveliest vanilla musk with a warm and almost woody depth from the fig. When I was testing this I didn't have the notes in front of me and almost thought the fig was oak. Probably a body chemistry thing. But yes, this another unexpected one I will need a bottle of.
