  1. There ya go. Actually, in addition to the attraction aspects of Charisma it seems to make any social interactions go much more smoothly. Even if he's not a 'people' person (I know I'm not) it does make things flow more smoothly.
  2. Speaking as a guy, I don't think he'll be disappointed. I love the smell of LP #9 and the Charisma phero blend seems to make me almost magnetic to people. The name definitely fits.
  3. Ladies, I believe this is the beginning of an addiction!
  4. Sold! I already have Mark's Tonka Tobacum and UN in the full size bottles, this looks to be my next one instead of Excalibur.
  5. I may be foolish and go for a big bottle just because I like the description. I was pretty suspicious of Aphrodisia Erotica when I saw it under the mens scents until I tried it on me just a little while ago. It really smells very nice but not so feminine that a guy couldn't pull it off. I could see this being a nice, up close and personal kind of scent (even for a guy).
  6. Okay, this might be a silly question but after the website revamp this came up under Male Scents. Is really this something that a guy could wear? I was trying to decide what to get next (instead of just going straight for the Excalibur or Miss Right...Now) and the scent definitely sounds interesting.
  7. Hehehehe, I really couldn't care less what other guys think of it but I was just being thorough in my sampling of people. I really think that too many men in our society are trained into the mindset that being interested in scents (especially non 'traditional') ones isn't 'masculine'. All I know is that I really like the scent of this one and woman definitely seem to respond to it.
  8. Just want to quantify this review. If I like something, I tend to be enthusiastic about it so please keep that in mind as you read below. Oh my... I really like the smell of this. It is very strong in vanilla with tobacco and tonka and I can smell a bit of the woods and amber, also. More than what I ever asked for. I spent several hours with a female friend of mine (basically my best friend) with a lot of people coming and going around us. I'd let her smell this on me and I actually got to hear, 'This smells so good, I just want to nom nom nom- eat you up!' Woah, now if that isn't a glowing review, I don't know what is. Those were the actual words she used. She liked it enough to put some on her wrist pulse points and it really did smell very nice on her. Honestly, I found it distracting to be catching the occasional whiff of it on her. I got several reviews from people (mostly women) but what struck me was how split down gender lines the like/dislike was. Women really dug the smell and every single one would have loved their man smelling like a vanilla cigar (my way of putting it). Guys on the other hand were split between mild dislike to absolute hatred of the scent. One asked me why I would want to smell like candy. Actually, it was more like, 'Why would you want to smell like candy?!!!' Apparently my idea of a warm and masculine scent doesn't jive with their idea. Oh well, I like it and every woman who smelled it also liked it. I also found out that the women I have worn Excalibur around (love the smell of that one too) have been talking about it behind my back. They all called it very sexy but in a totally different way from my Tonka Tobacum. The Tonka Tobacum was a nice warm scent and they felt like it fit my cuddly personality but the Excalibur just smelled very overtly sexy to them. Next time I get some money, I am getting at least one more bottle of Tonka Tobacum and a bottle of Excalibur (probably boosted with Wanted Man). Thank you very much Mara and Danna for such a wonderful scent!
  9. Hehehe... I was foolish enough to try that stuff several years ago. Then I Figured out that just treating a person with respect and making them laugh was all I needed. If you can make a person laugh (with you) then you have their interest!
  10. I know what you mean. I'm in Illinois but I found that the oil based products work a lot better for me. I'm tired of waiting for things to get back into stock as well. They've been revamping all of their scents but I do like the ones here MUCH better! If I was one of the hostile ones over there, I apologize. I always try and treat people with respect but if I ever posted anything hostile or offensive to you, sorry.
  11. Hey Robert, I was wondering if you had tried other phero products before? I noticed when I was wearing 'Miss Right... Now' with the Charisma (Actor's Magic) that I was getting a lot of positive attention but it seemed more natural than with some other phero blends. It is hard to explain what I mean by natural but with some phero products people seem almost like they are in a trance or SO over the top in their reactions that it seems forced somehow. DO you know what I mean? The reactions from this just seem very genuine, like people are very interested and the wearer is almost magnetic. I know what you mean about the pheros wearing you out. I get that way sometimes.
  12. I'm glad to see another guy who likes this phero blend. I was LOVING the effects from it in Miss Right... Now. The scent of the cologne combined very nicely with the attention I was getting from the phero blend. I just got my PE (Mark's Tonka Tobacum) with Charisma added and I can't wait to try it out. Great stuff!
  13. Sounds very interesting. Another one for my list!
  14. I finally got around to trying Teddy Man today. I couldn't figure out how I wanted to describe the scent until I'd gotten to luna65's review and thought, 'that's it!' A wood-moss-resin scent is just how I would describe this. Not too bad but doesn't hit me like Excalibur or LP #9 does. Both of those just smell awesome to me. I met up with a friend of mine for coffee today while wearing this. First thing she asks me after giving me a hello hug is what cologne I'm wearing. She really liked the scent. About 5 minutes after putting this on, I felt very relaxed and laid back. Wanted to stretch. I felt like I was in a good mood but just very laid back. I felt like a pair of flannel lounge pants. Really soft and comfortable. I don't know if this is supposed to affect guys or not, but it did me. My friend who isn't normally the most relaxed seemed to be much more comfortable than usual. Even moved her chair from the other side of the table to next to me. We had a fantastic conversation that just sort of flowed. Normally she feels the need to be 'right' or at least feel like she's gotten the last word. Today, she was like a different person. Calm, happy and relaxed. And she commented on the scent more than once so there must be something there. She was actually agreeing with me on some things that normally would have had her pretending she was an expert on just to puff herself up. Very nice. I love pheromones and how they work to help make things go more smoothly! She opened up to me about a few things that she would have otherwise been hesitant to (even if I was already aware of them). I fully credit the comfortable feelings the pheros helped to elicit.
  15. I'd definitely be getting the oil version because I have found that I much prefer the oil base to the alcohol. I spent a lot of time and money figuring out how to make phero blends in oil base using the AD pheros. Even if nobody else really loves the smell of this on me, I'm sold just because I do. I think beccah1 had the right idea, wait till he's not looking and... *dab dab dab*
  16. I love it! :Xmas-Hug: Thanks for the review. I am definitely going to order this one. As much as I love Excalibur, I think this one is getting ordered first (budget constraints won't let me get them both right now). Now I just have to decide what pheros I want this with.
  17. I was wondering if any of you wonderful women on here have smelled this on your guy? (I read Cheeseburger79's awesome review posted here but I was hoping for other opinions as well.) The reason I ask is because this morning I took the sample vial I had and swiped a couple of time from the stick onto the top of my hand. At first I really couldn't smell anything. After about 2 or 3 minutes, I was sitting at the computer catching up on some work when I thought to myself, 'What the hell smells so good?!!!' It took me a minute to figure out that it was the Love Potion #9. I literally started walking around the house wanting to let out a gutteral growl because the scent just makes me feel that way. I wish me and my GF hadn't split last month. I'd love to have tried this around her. I think I may have a new favorite that I am probably going to boost with pheros but now I have to figure out which phero mix to get with it. I think if I paired it with Wanted Man I'd probably scare women away but I was thinking about Drop Your Guard or maybe Actor's Magic. Any suggestions? I do get the (to my nose) passing resemblence to CK One but this has a much stronger, more intense and MUCH more interesting scent. Not only is it stronger but it is far deeper (if that makes sense). I smell a lot more going on here than I do with CK One. Add to that the fact that I've never had quite the uh, visceral reaction to CK One that I've had to this one. The name seems pretty appropriate as far as I'm concerned. Now if women like it that'll be the icing on the cake. Anyway, back to my original question, how does this smell to you (on a guy?) Thanks!
  18. It is unfortunate, but they've been out of a lot of the putatives since at least October. All the things that the more advanced users had been buying to make their own mixes. They just restocked some of the MX's in the last few days but not the ones that people were really clamoring for. I loved experimenting with the products there but I'm just tired of waiting for things.
  19. Wow, so I take it that they've done some seriously house cleaning around that forum, eh? I haven't been on much lately because everything I was interested in has been out of stock for months. I love making my own phero blends but I can't seem to get what I need there. One of the things that has led me here and so far I really like the phero blend in Miss Right... Now. Can't wait for my custom with that in it!
  20. You are very welcome! Ironically, I wore this again today and had very similar experiences. I was out Christmas shopping and I noticed that if a woman happened to catch a sniff of my Excalibur she would move in closer. I found it very interesting how many younger women (I'm 36) in their 20's really gravitated towards me. I have a teenage relative who noticed the attention I seemed to be getting and thought it was funny. She thought I smelled, 'Weird. But good.' I am also planning on getting this one with the Actor's Magic in it as well. I'm almost out of my sample vial but I have to say, this really does go a long way. On me, the oil based products seem to work better even if they don't diffuse as far. I am amazed at how this scent really does seem to work like the pheromes do to reduce personal space and make people interested. I can't wait to try this boosted up with pheromones.
  21. I was considering getting 'Excalibur' with Actors Magic in it because Excalibur definitely got me attention by itself. I am almost out of my sample vial of 'Miss Right... Now' which is already boosted with Actor's Magic and it smells (and works) very well. I've only worn Merlin's Blend once, but I really liked the smell of that one as well. After a while it had an almost woody/nutty scent to it. Actor's magic would probably be a very nice addition.
  22. I apologize in advance if there was already a thread to review this but I did a search and didn't find it. This is a very green, woodsy scent. Not something that I would normally pick out for myself (I'm an amber fanatic) but I do like the greenness (is that even a word?) of this scent. VERY masculine. I decided to just wear this around today and see if I would get any reactions. I interacted with quite a few people who knew me and some who didn't so I did get a variety of 'test subjects'. I can honestly see why this is the best selling mens 'potion' according to the website. Amazing what scent alone can do. First, I noticed that it really stayed very green and forest smelling (in a good way) even after it dried. I swear it reminded me of walking through the forest in the spring, with a hint of a woodsy scent in amongst the greens. It also lasted at least 5 hours on me without really fading. It stayed on me until I got home and took a shower. I actually liked this scent a lot more than I thought I would right out of the bottle. I almost reapplied this after I showered. I found it interesting today because I did not have anyone comment on my scent but I did notice that when I'd be talking to a woman, she would almost immediately start edging closer to me. If I was in a conversation with a man and woman together, within a minute or two she'd be standing beside me (closely). That seemed to be the keyword for how women were around me today- close. They would stand much more closely and be very attentive. Men seemed a bit more deferential. I really believe that a woman would catch a subtle whiff of my Excalibur and were drawn in for a closer smell of it. If I didn't know better, I'd have sworn this was spiked with pheros. I've worked with pheromones for a while now and today reminded me of a subtle social/attraction phero mix. I wonder how this would be with something like Actor's Magic or Wanted Man in it. I already seemed to be the center of attention while wearing this. I also notice that with the other scents that I've tried from L-P. They seem to draw attention to the wearer more than 'regular' colognes do. Definitely going to wear this one again very soon (even though I still have so many left to try) and ask for some opinions. I think they'll be favorable. Either way, I know I like Excalibur because it is such a very masculine scent that is different from what I'd normally wear.
  23. Ouch. I think I'll have to give that one a try tomorrow and see what sort of reviews I get on it.
