Oh snap! I was hoping I could get one of those and was foolishly biding my time, waiting for more monies. You spurred me into action-- I just made another large purchase of a few of the other endangered perfumes. ;P

So my interest was piqued by the holy water situation, and I Googled it. I found this site: http://www.discountcatholicstore.com/holywater.htm and it says "Please note, if you want your item blessed by a priest, you will need to take it to your local priest for a blessing. It is prohibited by the Catholic Church to sell items that have been blessed by a priest." But on the page where they're selling holy oils, they sidestep the problem by saying "This oil has been blessed. It is prohibited by the Catholic Church to sell blessed items. All proceeds from these Holy Oil bottles are donated to charities." Sorry, I don't mean to pry or rabble-rouse or anything, I'm just curious and intrigued. If the site you dealt with has the same policy, was your water blessed by a local priest, or is its holiness from the holy river?

500 calories for the whole day? I don't think that's good.. I think I read that women are supposed to get either 1000 or 1200 calories a day, minimum, to keep the body from freaking out and thinking it's starving. I mean, I'm no doctor-- does anyone know for sure? Anyway, be careful! <3

Oh man, that sounds awesome! I might just have to get a full bottle of that unsniffed. XD But I'll have to wait til I get the order I placed yesterday. And now I know I can get all the holy water I need from the privacy of my own home. And no worries, I'm sure no one here will take this the wrong way. That upbringing sounds awesome!

Huh, so where did they get it? I always assumed it was something that couldn't be sold or gotten outside of a church-- but then, I am and always have been an ignorant heathen. Also, does that mean it needs to be shaken up before application, to get the (holy) water and oil to mix?

Well, I got a couple samples of cologne for my boyfriend: Thane and Bodice Ripper. He liked them, and got compliments on them, so asked me to snag him a couple full bottles with my order this month. I'm also going to grab him a men's sampler pack so he can see if he likes any others. I'll get him hooked yet! For me, I'm going to get a bottle of Jungle Colada amped with G2, and samples of Happy Ending, Pillow Patter, and an alternate of Premeditated Passion. Ohhhh, I can hear my bank account weeping. LOL!

If you are going to go for individual samples, I'd recommend Garland and Lace. Absolutely divine! And if you want to try Leather, too, Dangerous Games is awesome. Cougar and Elevation Potion are great, too. You know what, it's really hard to go wrong.

With the last order that I got, I never got a shipping confirmation e-mail. It was just a happy surprise when it showed up.

Ohh, the labels are eye-catching and awesome, as usual! Can't wait to see the ingredients and lament that my list of must-try perfumes cannot seem to get down to a manageable level...!

I really like this one! Very sweet, all juicy strawberry at the beginning, with a soft and musky honey after drydown that somehow doesn't smell odd on my skin. Very happy with the full bottle decision.

Gave in to temptation far more than I should have and ordered bottles of Garland and Lace v. 2, Dangerous Games, and Elevation Potion. So much for my "one purchase a month" rule!

My goodness, it's awful that that was enough to push me over the edge! I also went a little crazy (crazier) and ordered Elevation Potion and Dangerous Games. Oh, well, today's pay day, and who needs food when you can sit at home and smell delicious?

Mmm, peach and spices, with the frankincense providing an exotic twist to the whole blend. Very interesting, and delightful!

I just got my sample of this in the mail. It smells incredible! Delicious spiced cookies with a hint of egg nog! It's warm and comforting, and mouth-watering. It's also the perfume that has the strongest and longest-lasting scent of the ones I've tried today. It is taking an enormous effort of will to keep from ordering a full bottle or three right now!

The lemony smell other people have mentioned is what pops out most on me, too. Like a delicious lemon SweetTart. Mmm!

This smelled so delicious! Cinnamon buns, freshly baked. It only seemed to last a little while on my skin, but maybe slathering it on will make it last longer. Yum!

I really like the fruitiness of this one. They meld together most deliciously! I'm going to have to wear this on a day that I don't have 10 other LPs on to be sure, but I think I might want a full bottle of it.

This one's very nice! It's sweet, and the floral scent is not just the flower, but also the stem. Very summery and fun.

Unfortunately, I think I'm in Rosebud's boat. I had hoped and hoped that I might be able to wear this one, but it just smells odd on me.

Welcome to the forums, Liam! Trial packs are never a bad idea. I'm not sure how customizable they are, but I bet it certainly wouldn't hurt to ask. You could also make a post in the Trading section; a forum member might have what you're looking for and be willing to part with it.

I just got this in a trade, so I thought I'd review it just for funsies, even though it's GGG. It is delicious-smelling! I haven't had astronaut ice cream since I was a kid, but this brings back memories. It manages to smell just like how I remember it. Lovely strawberry, chocolate, creamy vanilla, and that freeze-dried smell, too, somehow!

This one is very creamy on me. I really like it-- the amber gives it a sophisticated air, and the flowers add a lovely sweetness. The spices are hiding in the background, but if I concentrate a little, I can pick them out. Delicious!
