Wonderful Things!!!

How much Oud are y'all getting? I amp Oud and make it smell like a brush fire...but just a leeeetle tech of it works on my skin. For instance, I can't wear Sugared Oud. Everything else in this makes me want a full bottle. ~And to have a truly hot affair with it.~

Gods, all the perfumes look GREAT!!! And the punch looks YUMMY and I second luna's *grabby hands* for the perfume table!!! Black Star Lavender made me tear up, too!!! It IS about both of them isn't it! Plus, luna, your poetry gives me (good) goosebumps. What doesn't tear me up makes me bumpitty! Hee!

Gods, that was my first question. Those watercolors are gorgeous!!! I CANNOT WAIT TO SMELL THE BLACK STAR LAVENDER. And aaalllll of them look so wonderful!!! You just made my evening! Am really enjoying this! I've been trying to figure out how to describe it coherently, but just cannot do it. So: I get rose-ish, sweet, rich, sparkliness for quite a while...after which it gets all soft and pillowy...and at extreme drydown I have beautiful oakmoss. Every phase smells wonderful! Add the phero, and it's a total WIN!

I was thinking that punch would make a good perfume! We ought to have a Punch Drunk month! Mara could perfume-ize all her party punches!!! The label pics are already done! Hee!!! Oh, Maaaarrrrraaaaaaa... I've worn this once, so far. It smells deliciously like I just walked out of a SERIOUS. PARTY. You may take for granted that my skin glorifies (not amps, just makes 'em sing!) the Patch, Cannabis, and Clove! Hee!!! I think I'm going to end up wearing this a lot...but perhaps not in any public place where I might be arrested...*gigglesnort* I didn't perceive any of the camellia/fresh thing, but the vanilla, sage, and amber were definitely players. Something in there gave me a subtle smoke note! It's a rich and satisfying scent. Seriously: This perfume smells like I've been playing a really good weed-friendly party, and having a fabulous time. ETA a few days later: So I've been wearing this more. The extreme drydown, now that I've been *awake* to smell it--hee!!!--is exquisite. I still get all the stuff described above, plus now I think the camellia has been showing up, but I didn't recognize it before. I think it keeps the whole shebang lifted up, if you will. I am loving this more every time I wear it! Also, I am rescinding my not-wear-it-in-public statement. Once the cannabis blends, it doesn't stick out. One can perceive it, but everything just...entwines! This is a lovely, lovely scent, and it makes me happy, too (sure kept me going whilst repairing my stone chimney today!)!!!

Don't be sorry, BB! I'm perusing their site now--THANKS for the recommendation!!! As for Elara...I am totally diggin' this. I enjoy tuberose, and Mara does it right for my skin. Elara is all floral at first, and I can detect all three of the blossoms. Then the musk and teak sidle in, and the whole thing melds and gets grownup--definitely the Sophisticated Lady thing! I can't stop snoofing myself. I feel like I'm wearing the Perfect (long) Black Dress, armloads of nice, noisy silver bracelets, dangly earrings, and wearing makeup and all, even though I'm sitting here in my painting clothes! I'm in the early stages of long drydown and I smell sublime. Someone pass me a martini, please...? ETA...have been wearing this a lot, and I keep forgetting it has a phero! In hindsight, though, I do believe that Magnet gives me selfies that are similar to Audacious, but with a more grownup/powerful feel. This scent with that feeling?!?? WIN. I want a full bottle.

I get the sparkly/tangy, too! I've only worn this once so far, and it was in my mad orgy of testing too many scents at once. Heh. My skin can turn some chocolates into hazmat, but this one comes out yummy, and actually reads as darker chocolate. Wearing Bella Donna on my upper arm, she smells like chocolate orange candies, and it's in a sophisticated way, if that makes sense. I'm thinking it's the white amber that makes her feel like dark chocolate covered orange gels at an upscale party. Quite nommy!
