  1. (whispers...Allegro! doya have a sample coming?)

I'm going straight for a big bottle of this on my next order.:(

  2. that would imply you *have* to make a choice - I say choose NOT to make a choice! :( LP bottles - they're small, and you could always just bring the lil' samplers!

The only drawback to Frog is that it dies down quite quickly on me and on holiday I don't want to be rummaging in my bag to reapply very often. I'd love it either double strength or may invest in a scent locket. In fact I've found one I want on ebay, so fingers crossed. :wink2:

I kind of want something I can roll on and that is good to go all day. :)

  3. So far, this is UTTER HEAVEN! I just put it on, so I will pist the drydown, later.

It's freshly cut grass with sweet clover, underneath. I've always sought a true green grass scent, and never found one, before. If I pond or lake note creeps in, I'll be in heaven. If not, I'll love it, anyway.

For some reason, after living in CA all these years, I am very homesick for IN. This is comforting and refreshing. I see a bottle in my near futire.

I really like Frog. I am considering making it one of my vacation/ holiday perfumes. On hot days, when everyone else is all sticky and icky, it would just be like walkign around in your own lush green and cool oasis.

I'm torn between Frog and something tropical....

    :)

  4. LOL! Well, luckily, the recipe is rather simple*, so I think we can make this a permanent part of our collection. I just have to go hunt down some more organic bee pollen, and hope that it smells the same this season.

*(Not so with Phero Boy though - that one will have to retire when it's sold out.)

That's a shame I know a lot of the Ladies loved PB too.. :)

  5. I just got my bottle of Scandalous......WOW. Very nice.....and everyone was right.....LP Red and Sugared Amber mixed......but a little more cinnamon-y.....Ooooooh, I like this one!!

Now you know why I had to have two... :) YUM! :(

  6. I think that the reason why this version is less 'bright', is the same reason that the EoW is getting more covered, even though there is 3x the amount...

I took out the "space" between the notes this time. I had kind of suspended each layer of ingredients so they could be perceived separately, but this time I compressed them, made it thicker and more concentrated. If anyone wanted to experiment with diluting theirs (in DPG, alcohol or D5), I think it might just smell closer to the original - if that is what you are going for.

Oh yeah, also the EoW is not in the same base. Creator Phil Stone made this version for me special, in an oil base rather than an alcohol base like is sold commercially.

I'm stunned how fast this is selling. We might have to go on to III by the end of the month!

I think this is one you are just going to have to keep making...

    :(

  7. Thanks for your reviews ladies. I'm hoping that the scent of Allegro is a bit "bolder" or "stronger" than Cougar. I love the phero effect of Cougar on me, it makes me happy! But you know me and subtle scents! ^_^ I think I'll order a big bottle of Allegro though, the phero effect sounds right up my street! :)

  8. Some changes here.

    1) Cougar, cos it makes me feel happy (I'm hoping Allegro will also put a spring in my step)

    2) Dominance - Love the rose and chocolate combo

    3) Sabra - Just because it's fab

    4) Scandalous - Love the cinnamon

    5) Heart of Kapet - I like smelling like incense....

  9. A google search for "Nile Temple Blend" asking for just pages from the UK - shows nothing...

Looks like they are not exporting it to the UK - or nobody is importing it..

  10. That's a shame May......maybe with some of the D5, it would stay more true.....

Personally, I love this scent.....it is very unique, deep, and utterly lovely.....

Dolly, my skin does such horrible - and I mean REALLY horrible things to this D5 does nothing...

Frankly, on me it instantly morphs and smells just like overwhelmingly strong, acrid, and past its sell-by-date curry powder. :msn_red_fox_smilies-09:

I think I might need to avoid oud - I do horrible things to it AND then mega-amp it. I've showered and I still smell like a dodgy take-away.

I know it's just me - because it smells great in the bottle and on cotton wool.

  11. That's the way I understood it......that the unscented pheros will remain in stock, but that new scented phero perfumes will be added and will cycle in and sell out as the others do.....

That's kind of what I thought, but Chai's post made me wonder...

I have to admit though I prefer mine to come with a scent designed to compliment it. Like the Grapefruit scent makes people think youth so that was tied into the youthful pheros in Cougar.

I don't think I am as likely to buy add-ins, or buy the two seperately. Although I would be interested in trying, for example, a cougar rebrew with a new complimentary perfume. I just like the two together. So I guess I will just stock up on what I like and grab new phero limiteds as and when they come out. :msn_red_fox_smilies-09:

Which makes deciding on my next shopping list a lot easier. :woohoonaner2gy:

  12. It's just the unscented I was talking about. We're planning on keeping the phero library constant, so people can add them to any scent they want - but the perfumes will sell out and cycle through like usual.

Do you mean that the fragranced pheros like Dominance with the rose will sell-out and cycle through, but we will still be able to add the unscented dominance phero blend to anything we like? Or do you mean that the the fragranced pheros, as they stand, will always be available?

    Just a bit confused...

  13. In the bottle: Wet and green. The green is just a squee pinch sweeter than mown grass, which may be the florals.

On, wet: Mmmm. This is not swampy at all, but very cool and damp. It's like the woods after a rain fall, fresh and green.

Drydown: A breath of resins plays under the greenery. It's illusive, and it plays at the outer edges of my senses, but it's there. As the scent continues to dry, a "musky, dusky" element comes to the forefront. It smells like old knowledge, without the acrid edge of cynicism. This isn't a "Maiden" scent, as it has too much dignity and calm, despite the Springy greeness of it's opening.

This is another scent I'm having trouble breaking down and describing as a smell, so here's a better description:

You walk into the a clearing in the woods. There are no birds singing, or myserious rustlings -- not because the animals are gone, they are just waiting for what comes next. You settle yourself in the cool moss, and close your eyes. As you clear your mind, the sense memory of other rituals slides through you, and you can almost smell the incense of those times. But today is different, and you bring no props. As your mind settles, your consciousness slips into the earth around you. Your mind merges with the soil and the ancient calm of the Earth. Your body also harmonizes with its surroundings. Wherever your sweat is bitter, or the dark folds of your body held pungent secrets of bottled hurt and bitterness, the Earth cleanses you. When at last you open your eyes, it is with a serenity you didn't know you had. You breath in and smell the dusky scent of your new self, feeling how it matches the quiet power which now rests in every vessel of your body: muscles, lungs, heart.

    :woohoonaner2gy:

What Scourger said. I really like this one, but I don't think there is anything I can add to her fantastic review! :msn_red_fox_smilies-09:

So another vote of confidence here!

  14. Here May....I have an extra.....

You really must get a sample of this one......very dark, very unusual, yet very pretty.....and I think it would be quite wearable......I have been wearing it for a couple of hours now, and it really hasn't morphed very much since it started to dry down.....I like this one, very much......those of you who like the deeper darker side of perfumes NEED to try this one..... :msn_red_fox_smilies-09:

My parcel arrived this morning. (YAY!)

This perfume smells lovely in the bottle - however, my skin does unbelievably foul, foul, foul things to this... I bet it smells great on everyone else though...

    I am gutted...

  15. When I first put this on, I actually exclaimed out loud "It's Green!" And it is--pure green of grasses, moss, and I swear I smell a pond in early evening, no joke. This is such an outdoors scent. No pine, not floral really, not an idea of what the outdoors smells like, this is it--green.

So I let it be for awhile, and now I can smell a breath of incense and amber, but this lays on top of that incredible green scent like lilies floating on a pond. I didn't think recreating this sort of scent so exactly was possible. I am extremely impressed!!

Oh how I NEED my package... I think I am going to have to amp up the fortitude of the postie-trap

  16. This was one I had a feeling about--and boy was I right! Not what I was expecting. No, even better. This is resins, woods, and sweetness. It isn't heavy, but it is dark. I'm certainly not putting this away for the Summer. I've only had it on for about 30 minutes. Just a dab, it's quite strong. I am questioning my ability to drive while wearing this. It's that distracting. I could hyperventilate trying to capture every nuance in one breath. Must not do this in public...

I will update if it changes during the course of the day.

    Yay! Yay! YAY!!

The reviews of the new scents have started... I LOVE this bit... more! More! MORE!

    Thank You Gale!

    :yeahthat:

PS... I think I may have hyperventilated a bit here... anyone got a brown paper bag? :hotjump:

  17. In Ail's post she mentions Vivienne Westwood's 'Boudoir' and Aquolina's 'Pink Sugar', has anyone HERE tried these as covers for EW ? Thx in advance, liz

    Hi Liz

I have used both Pink Sugar and Boudloir as covers and they work fine. Pink Sugar is pretty but, to be honest, a bit "young" for my tastes. It's fun for Summer though. I've been using Boudoir for years, so I already knew I liked that one.

    Both cover EoW. :rainman:
