  1. It really just depends on how that person might react...as we've discussed, a-nol provides a euphoric type of feeling in a situation, so it enhances attraction by providing good feelings all around. B-nol lends an emotional bonding aspect to a situation, and if that situation is sexual then it can enhance intimacy in a number of ways. In my experience the emotional barriers or personas can be discarded and two people can just be themselves in the one place they should be if they desire true intimacy.
  2. You can't get pheromone blends in sample size. If there happen to be pheromone-enhanced scents in that month's selection you will get samples of those in the monthly sampler.
  3. *edit* Whoops, Dolly beat me to it. But just remember LE = Limited Edition.
  4. Oh my...antics au naturale? Goooood stuff!
  5. Ah that's so awesome...besides the reference you had to have, that you made it related to Ail as well! U R TEH CLEVER KITTEH!
  6. LOL @ BAM! Quince says he gives it a My idea of scandalous is being relentlessly casual, as I live in a place where looking perfect all the time should probably be listed as a religious affiliation. Showing up at functions in band shirts and jeans while everyone else is wearing clothes twenty years too young for them usually causes tight-lipped smiles which crack me up inside.
  7. This and reading the Pheromone FAQ subforum will be the most informative.
  8. I actually wish the lemon and vanilla came out a little more for me...this is heavy on the pink sugar with my chemistry. It definitely has a pink lemonade aura to it, and I think it would be great in the shower gel for summer. But a very girly kind of scent, bright and candy-sweet.
  9. Yeah I've mentioned before that Quince really only responds to cops and EST, although b-nol in the right proportion has a nice effect too (i.e. Sexology). But I went through plenty other blends (TAL. TAH. Cougar. Dominance) and it was like bouncing a rubber ball off a brick wall. Me, on the other hand, I have generally strong self-effects which can work either for or against me, heh.
  10. This is the review thread for this scent, so I don't know what you're asking.
  11. Some people respond to everything, but in actuality most people respond to certain compounds but not everything across the board. For example, certain compounds are only effective when combined with others in terms of response. This is where congruence with a fragrance is also helpful.
  12. May Day! is primarily sweet to me, but not foody-sweet or even flower-sweet, really. But that's the word which springs to mind. And it is so well-blended I can't pick out anything, I'm just enjoying the scent entire. I was a little timid considering the ingredients, but it's lovely. Blended with Tranquility Potion this is a godsend...even if you're not necessarily anxious about a specific thing, you can achieve equilibrium and that's amazing to me. You can ponder problems with a detachment which will allow you to step outside of your own anxiety and find some clarity, hopefully. Thank you, M&D, for this...as for all things.
  13. I wasn't suggesting that he wasn't wearing pheros, just speculating he could have just been an incredibly charismatic person. But as phero use is more widespread these days, likely the odds are he was. I can tell now when a man is wearing them better than I could several years ago, although I don't find myself in those situations where I would encounter someone who was so much anymore (clubbing, etc.).
  14. It's funny, Quince has never said he could actually smell copulins, but once I explained the effect he really tried to (I was wearing PheroGirl at the time)...I said it would be like fruity cheese or maybe unwashed genitalia, but his nose just wasn't up to the task. I said it was a blessing in disguise and he said "It's a blessing either way, I'm thinking."

    Eve's Temptation

The apple note is very prevalent in this one at first, with the other fruit notes lending a crisp tart feel to the blend. In the drydown the attars are given a smooth quality by the marshmallow root, almost a "fluffy" character, with the tartness receding a bit. The apple does return after a time, deepened by the other notes, but it sort of does a peek-a-boo thing, heh. I really like this one, in that all the different qualities are co-existing. Surpisingly the oud is only just the faintest suggestion to me...a vague sense of smoky wood while walking through an orchard (not exactly, but I always get that evocation with apple blends), although in the final drydown it starts reminding me more of Raven's Secret Weapon. This is the kind of apple I like, "fresh" not "cooked."
  16. Oooh East Asian men definitely turn me on. *sigh* Even those that might abuse their professional privileges (oh I'm going to need the paddle for even thinking that!). So what could he have been wearing, I wonder? Although I have to say, in my time, I've been in the presence of a few people whose natural pheromone signature coupled with their own charimsatic personality were enough to qualify them as absolute stunners...so maybe he could have been one of those?
  17. Well remember, though, she's an educator...so that's one reason why she's here, to share all her wisdom and knowledge with us...and aren't we lucky!
  18. Yeah the (sex-crazed) lunatics have taken over the asylum. And I do have to say I saw the "not pervy!" and said Aw damn! kblazin, I'll see if I can track down the article...it's mainly about the euphoric affects of androstadienone on women, but there was a subset of data related to its' effect on men. Though I bet Ail probably has the specific info at her (immediate) fingertips.
  19. If your boyfriend responds well to EST, then you should try Cuddle Bunny, it's a fabulous mix for EST-loving XYs.
  20. Consideirng your recent experiments...this is surprising to learn. But I think there are very few people who are not affected in some way by overtly sexual mixes. And Sexology entire (scent/intent) is supposed to give you sex on the brain (and hopefully sex in lots of other places too ).
  21. Yeah I had read that about androstadienone, Ail, so good to know it's actually documented fact (sometimes it's hard to tell). Although I love wearing SS4M in the form of Super, I've never worn it during intimate situations with Quince because there were other factors to consider, but I have idly wondered how a man might react to a woman wearing a male-oriented phero mix. I look at androstadienone like a controlled substance and save it for times when I really feel like there's nothing else which might make me feel better...and since it can sometimes give me a "hangover" (even when I try to use it sparingly) I'm so glad Teddy Man came along because it's a much better all-purpose feel-good mix for me, both scent and intent-wise. But don't smudge that lovely nose too much on the grindstone...don't want your man to get stroppy with us!
  22. Another one to remember for that purpose is Teddy Man...as noted in the description: I find it's incredibly effective in terms of subduing the PMS monster, but also just instilling a sense of lovely calm. *purr*
