  1. I want to be a pretty sophisticated undercover slutty thing After 15 minutes...... nothing.... nada... zilch... zero.... My Beloved saying "I don't smell anything" (okay, so... that was good for a bit of fun; he went searching for where the scent might have migrated....) Maybe JD would be DoP on me? Truly, scents are just lighter on my skin and I can't even think of a note I "amp". So, I could be a pretty sophisticated undercover slutty thing with a slightly skanky durdy edge? I think at least samples are on Artfire... and then, I could dose with Cuddle Bunny for the phero-power?
  2. NuTrix, that makes absolute sense; thank you for the useful wearing tips! I'm still testing Tonight, I used the CPS/ silicone product trick underneath the scents themselves and I will see how it effects wear/throw/depth. These spring scents are lovely! I really want them to work. Of course, there are definite pluses to having my particular skin chemistry; I do love how the deeper resins and stronger scents work so beautifully; I almost never experience the "amping" phenomena some do, and I'm able to change scents out several times throughout the day without overlapping interference between scents. And, because scents don't typically wear too "heavy" on my skin, I don't really have a need for multiple seasons of scents and I can wear my favorites year-round
  3. That too is part of the debate I am having with myself over this scent. A-nol tends to make me pretty silly... I just know I want pink champagne and pink panties like Lady V And, that is said without the effects of a-nol!!!! Just imagine the goofy things which might come out of my mouth with a ton of it on me! There is a reason I don't wear a-nol blends to work. So, the other option is to get a sprayer of DHEAS, couple that with the Open Windows I already own, and find a scent similar to Levitation which does dance nicely on my skin.
  4. Can someone with more experience in how the process of turning a scent into a spray effects the scent strength please provide me with some guidance? Levitation is already so very very soft on my skin, seriously barely perceptible... but, what can be perceived is lovely. I am thinking of getting a FB in oil and then, because I have heard from so many how they layer their scents with a roll-on and a spray in the same scent, a spray of it as well. Will this help retain the scent?
  5. I had a feeling I was leaving one of the NRs out...I haven't yet tested my Sands of the Nile. I went straight for all the pretty fruity -florals because My Beloved and I were curled up, all cozy and cuddly, sniffing together, and he likes the lighter scents ... He was quite appreciative of them as they began to dry down. But even he couldn't find them on my skin 15 minutes after dry down my skin ate them! I am living vicariously through the postings of others who report the luscious and juicy and fruity and pink panties experiences! I had already pegged Seer as one I wanted to test for the office.... And it is beyond my expectations! I am ecstatic about how it plays so beautifully on my skin; such a velvety scent-texture! So, my skin... and Mara.... just knew this was THE SCENT I needed this month... and the intent is certainly perfect for me.
  6. Really? That is sad This is so perfect on me.. I wish you could experience that perfectly harmonious scent presence too! On the other hand, all the pretty floral-fruity spring scents everyone is raving about this month (so, not the Bedeviled or Blackstone but all the others aside from Seer) are such close-to-the-skin scents that they are almost imperceptible on my skin. I'm very grateful that Seer is gorgeous, with just the *absolutely right* presence, on my skin. And, I had more than one client today comment on the calming presence the scent evoked. One client actually pulled my wrist close to her nose and snuffled me as we walked down the hall to my office!

Like for Halo, the almond note does settle down quickly which is such a good thing for me! There are some almond notes which go all plasticky-marzipan on me. However, THIS almond is melding and blending nicely with the other notes, forming into a sweet almond-berry tart. YUM! :) Dense, creamy, sweet, and yummy. This will make a nice scent for Chametz Week/ pastry-theme. Very nicely done!
  8. Noooo! The LP site is down and I can't place my order! I feel major withdrawal symptoms coming on! I NEED Seer, and, on my wishlist (keeping in mind the LP budget for the month): thinking about Levitation, and have a request from the male contingent in the household for Touchdown. Also, want some OCCO Blue (the only OCCO flavor I am missing) and some DHEAS spray... Maybe a couple of backup bottles... Whew! Server is back up! Off to order....
  9. Sold! FB is a must based on that review alone! A scent every clinical hypnotist must own! LOL! And, even without that subnomenclature, I had already decided on a FB; this is a beautiful soft vanilla, just ever so softly and wonderfully textured by the myrrh and balsam. Definitely not masculine on my skin; rather, it is sensual, enveloping (yes, hypnotic... In fact, it reminds me very much of a particular induction piece I use in clinical practice... Must have FB!). I am drawn into the scent... captivated by its depth, warmth, soft richness. I would really like to try it on My Beloved as well, to see how the scent morphs with his skin chemistry. Actually think it might be best on my newly adult son (side comment: used to be that the forum name for him was The Boy, but that doesn't fit any longer now that he has aged out of boydom Spent a bit of time calling him He Who was Once the Boy... He needs a new forum tag... I'm open to suggestions! Ha! Hypnosis humor!). I think on him this will be so wonderfully deeply mesmerizing!
  10. GG, have you tried Limelight? It's still available on Artfire....
  11. NuTrix, I believe that you can still get sample vials of Desire Me on the ArtFire site.
  12. It is very interesting to me how my scent preferences have changed over the years. As many of you know, I was very active in the LP forums in late 2006-early 2008. During that period of my life, I so preferred the deep resins, relishing and savoring their richness, reveling in their depth. And, the lighter scents, while I could definitely appreciate them artistically and be so aware of their esthetic beauty, just didn’t seem to mesh (for me) on my skin chemistry. I found them to be wispy, powdery, and not in a good way but in a way which was a bit nauseating. Strangely enough, many of these scents are the ones which My Beloved preferred; he has always appreciated most the clean, powdery scents Yet, now... and whether it is body chemistry changes, life changes, mental/emotional changes, I cannot say... but my scent repertoire is definitely expanding and those scents which I would have once felt did not work for my skin are now working. While I do still have a love for the resins, finding them to be so comforting and sexy, the lighter scents and (big surprise for me here!) the aquatic scents are also working so nicely on my skin now! A nice surprise, albeit an expensive one (means there are so many MORE LPs I find I MUST have!). A Treasure of Sapphires is precisely one of those scents, I believe. Wet: I get blueberries... most of them wonderfully fresh and natural and some sweetened/sugared. A delicate sugaring, just the right amount of sweetness. On my skin, both wet and on drydown: sweet, fresh blueberries; soft, light florals, delicately blended with the blueberries; and that skin-hugging musk. Absolutely lovely! Sorry, Tyvey; for me, no cumin smell. Just a delicately floral/fruit softness. I put Cuddle Bunny on my other arm, to compare the two after reading the above posts likening the scents. Cuddle Bunny , My Beloved’s long-time favorite, has always and still, to my nose, seems a bit sharp in its clean-smelling aspect. I can perceive how the softness of ATO Sapphires (perhaps what Luna is referring to as blue denim and what Lady V is referring to as the laundry scent) evokes the Cuddle Bunny vibe. Personally, I prefer ATO Sappires. I am uncertain of My Beloved response as he is not here to share. Oh, I wish he was here to compare the two for us! I’ll have to edit later to enter his response. Drydown: This scent melds nicely, hugging close into my skin. A beautifully soft, skin scent... with surprising long staying power. Very pretty, nicely delicate, lovely and relaxing, a beautifully blended and balanced perfume, softly floral and soothing.
  13. I have definitely fallen behind in posting reviews and I am trying to make amends for this! Ha Ha! My last review was posted while driving to a continuing education event five hours drive away from my home! That's how determined I am to "catch up" on my "delinquent" reviews! For this one, I am actually seated in front of my computer; using a real keyboard vs. the tiny keys on my phone should make this a much more efficient experience ... with the added plus of being able to use the emoticon function.... However; even on my keyboard, it appears that the return key isn't working so my line-spacing might be a bit off; my apologies. Not quite sure what is amiss with the return function in relation to me and the forum. (ETA: copied to word to format the appropriate line-spacing and then to repost here) I originally purchased this blend because of its healing/renewal energies and it has indeed served that purpose well! I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the notes resonated with me just as beautifully as the intent of the scent. Wet/in the vial, I definitely get the chocolate and the honeydew with just a hint of lime. I should note that this is indeed one scent I always make sure to shake vigorously, not only to awaken the sparkle-magic within but also to awaken the scentual magic! Once shaken, I find that each and every individual note becomes so perfectly and harmoniously blended. On my skin, I sense a light, mild fruitiness.... no honeydew-to-the face melon in this one! And, the cherry stays true for me with this perfume... no marzipan, amped-up fake cherry smell here, just a beautiful light blending of honeydew and cherry, with the gentle kiss of lime, providing just the right amount of tang. Dry-down: Like the lime, the chocolate is also so delicately kissed upon my skin. The total sum of these wondrously blended notes is this beautiful, light close-to-the-skin scent such that it could almost be "as-if" my skin is magically producing this wonderful, beautiful, tantalizing smell, pulling others in to take a whiff and to be captivated.
  14. Even though this is a very belated welcome, I do want to extend a warm welcome! I have noticed, and certainly this is very true for me, that while there may not always be men directly posting, many of us have men in our lives who have joined us in the scentual pleasure that is LP... My Beloved and my newly adult (but youngest) son are both very avid LP scent wearers. They provide reviews and responses to the scents and phero blends to me and while I certainly could get a bit more responsible about posting them, those reviews do make it onto the forum. There are several other members who are so great at posting the reviews of their men! So, please join in! You will find that the reviews from men are indeed there... even if through the keyboards of the women who smell them (which might even be better, when you think about it). And, again, welcome!

Beccah's Tropical Garden? Shelly's Tropical Treasure? PS.. Love the PinUp Bear avatar!
  16. In the realm of social pheros, this is one of my favourite LP blends! Without fail, it delivers exactly what the label promises: a popularity potion! Whereas, for me, the La Femme blends wraps the wearer in an aura of exquisite glamour... haute couture, red carpet, blue blood aristocracy... a Golden Age of Cinema Movie Star.... a glamour which I absolutely relish and in which I love to envelop myself... And, whereas Topper gives me that playful, joyful, giddy Party Girl/Rock Star vibe... which most certainly has its appeal for certain scenarios and which is over-the-top fun for Girls Night Out.... Popularity Potion gives me this balance of the two, a definite Superstar aura which is very comfortably approachable; warmly and wonderfully friendly yet still imbuing one with Celebrity Status. I find that men, women; adults/children are equally positively influenced by this blend. Everyone adores me; everyone wants to be beside me; everyone wants to talk to me; and everyone compliments me in some fashion. Little kids, complete strangers, talk to me, blow kisses, and even take my hand in elevators and stores; women gush over me and confide in me; and, men... well, men flirt, some in a friendly, casual way... the way they do when they are making it clear this is just a way of showing respectful appreciation of feminine beauty, wit, and charm... and, others outrageously, still respectfully but much more clearly with intent and desire. And, the PERKS! Superstar treatment! At the doctor's office:"Is there anything else you need? I just made some fresh tea; would you like some? Oh, I notice you are reading XYZ magazine; would you like the newest edition... Do you need me to copy that article for you? We have cookies and brownies in the break room; can I get you one?"with every other waiting room client nodding and smiling, completely happy and supportive of this obvious preferential treatment. At the airport: Normally, it would be a $169 fee to change flight date/time and really, since I bought the ticket through Priceline Name Your Price special, no changes should be allowed. I mean, there's a reason it was such a cheap ticket!: "We have a non-stop flight leaving three hours before your flight. It would be so much more comfortable for you. I can get you a seat; this isn't even standby. Would you like me to make that change for you?" And, in the security line, super-gorgeous young Russian dude (yummy!) who had been traveling for over 24 hours, upon learning my flight, due to the aforementioned ticket change, was boarding in 45 minutes, quickly arranged for the 10 -12 people immediately in front of us to let me ahead and then, when even that wasn't to his satisfaction, he called staff over, who began apologizing profusely for the delays and inconvenience and proceeded to escort me through the first class line, to the sounds of cheers from the line (some of whom had flights themselves which were boarding in a similar time frame; yet I was seen by them as in need of their help/support and they were genuinely pleased to provide it... And staff were equally pleased to respond to my request that those people with flights boarding within 45 minutes be likewise brought to the head of the line... again, to cheers from the line. It was so funny; no one was truly in danger of missing their flight, the line really was moving along suitably; but the line simply developed this supportive cohesive nature in which it just made sense to help each, to cheer each other, to wish each other well) In stores: discounts, compliments, preferential treatment, gift certificates (including a $150GC at the salon I patronize) I want to emphasize that each and every kindness is responded to with an utmost sense of gratitude, respect, and awareness of my responsibility to "pay these kindnesses forward" through equally generous acts of my own such as the $150 GC being seen as a donation towards the pro bono hypnosis treatment work I do with low-income clients/at the low-cost dental clinic, etc.
  17. Here, and perhaps its a local company, we have a product called poop-pourri or perhaps its poo-pourri... You spritz the bowl with the scented spray... I think it's an oil based scent based on the way it disperses and "traps" the poo-odor. The slogan says "Spritz the bowl before you go and no one will have to know". Very effective; spas, doctors offices; etc have the bottles in their offices.
  18. Not only for the aforementioned reasons but I would also like to mention that it can taste bad
  19. . Eggers... after I ordered my bottle last night, I think there were 4 left. I boosted mine with 1/2 dose of Stone Cougar... If that's okay and if you need a Scotchies fix, I'm willing to share. Just let me know....
  20. Mmmmmmmm.... This on My Beloved with a tantalizing phero blend.... Might just be what is needed ....
  21. See, this is exactly what I'm so fearful off ... FBs selling out before I even get a chance to sniff my samples! It happened so quickly with OdalIsque! I always hem and haw and vacillate - to FB-unsniffed or not? - going back and forth over that first order after NRs are released. This month, I ordered the NR sample set along with FBs from previous months and opted to NOT order any FBs unsniffed, choosing instead to get FBs which were running dangerously low in inventory (Scotchies, among others! Almost an Odalisque-repeat for me!), trusting that the universe will be supportive of my LP addiction needs and that I will indeed receive my NR sampler in sufficient time to purchase those coveted FBs!
  22. Hmm, I think Open Windows (and any scents containing this blend) is probably far too neglected in my scent-inventory. I hesitate because I don't want the giddy, full disclosure self-effects ... I'm definitely going to commit to truly and fully testing this one. I'll just be sure to test in non-business situations first! Edited because typing on small phone keypads is really an adventure! Home later today... Yay! Missed the family and fur babies, and the full-sized keyboard on my computer
  23. DD, if your man responds best to the softer, est-y blends, most definitely try this out! It really stokes My Beloved's flames of love and desire! You know how the blends just make us more of who we are, amplifying and intensifying and emphasizing those innate, amazing qualities we each have? Well, this blend does that for the love and attraction My Beloved feels for me, emphasizing and accentuating and pulling forth all of those reasons he is attracted to me, reminding him of those first moments we meet...of those first kisses of longing and desire... of the beauty of exploring the nuances of each others souls and being.
  24. Oh, what a nice thought, boosting this with Perfect Match! I am FINALLY taking baby steps into boosting scents and I will sniff my trial vial with this boosting thought in mind. And, just might serve some useful self-effect purposes for me at home....
