Hmm I can say that I didn't get hyper, but yeah crashed hard. Not unpleasant, just a very very drowsy/sleepy sensation. That said I've DOUSESD myself in the past with WAY WAY more LACE, and didn't get this same reaction at all. Just loopy and hyper. Does that mean a-nol on its own puts me to sleep if I OD, but for some odd reason when in combo in LACE it doesn't have the same effect?

I wanted to be super productive yesterday with my sewing and thought a-nol would be perfect to put me into a happy mood to do my thing...... except I ended up feeling VERY lethargic and wanting to just sleep. Is this a common reaction to over-doing the a-nol? I started off with a little Elevation Potion when I woke up then sprayed quite a decent amount of Blissfull Caress when I got ready to work thinking it would put me in a good mood...... but I ended up feeling very tired. comments? did I goof up?

I CANNOT agree with this enough. VexedGlory, you sound like you're in the same boat as me, though I'm a few years on, and still friends with all guys. lol. (With a slight difference of I'm not specifically looking for a "relationship" with anyone.) For phero'ed scents it's tough, I'm another one who likes green scents and a lot of the phero'ed green scents veer towards a-nol and such (I think the other pheronomes aren't covered well enough by light greeny perfumes). I'm going to say Gotcha is a good one to try, and weirdly enough I've had good responses from male friends with Treasured Hearts phero. It's not really a blend to "get a guy" but Lace is a nice blend for social times, perhaps. As for size/phero dose, I can't really say. Sounds like we're the same size, but I think everyone says phero dose is quite personal and you need to experiment with what works for you till you get the hang of how much to apply.

Just goes to show how perfumes differ on everyone. No milkiness at all for me for Nymph. Temperance.. I have NO idea what but there is something in it that triggers something in my brain from when I was a kid. And yep, Temperance is definitely the "just out of the shower and smelling fresh scent"! Can't wait to try Ilori!

Funny thing is I'm actually a fire snake (now you can figure out how old I am. lol!!!) but I love the watery scents. Strangely I do think the snake traits fit me (I always thought that there's stuff we can all relate to in our signs?). So I'm thinking this potion would help amplify those traits? And I had no clue about the mythology, thank you for letting me know, I'll be looking that up!

"eo" is "essential oil" right? Is it different than the other ingredients in LP's? I thought I knew but I guess not. @_@

YES. I love the watery LPMP scents! A lot of other perfumes that do water... the water turns all weird on me, not the LPMP ones! They smell watery and stay that way! I'm afraid I'll love this too. lol. I just got FB's of Nymph and Temperance (both fresh greeny/watery scents).

Maiea's Year of the Snake Gorgeous herbal scent, light, fresh and invigorating, crafted on a bed of Bamboo and Birch Leaf, decorated with EO drops of Roman Chamomile, Rosemary, Clary Sage, Spearmint, and Vetiver. Making this first post mostly for my own reference. I asked Mara to craft a PE potion with the intention to bring out the characteristics of the Year of the Snake (according to Asian mythology/astrology). I am totally thrilled with the ingredients she picked and mostly for my own reference, looking up the magickal correspondences of the ingredients (from the LPMP Magickal ingredient lore): BAMBOO ~ Protection, hex breaking, luck and wishes, fertility, wisdom, feminine energy. CHAMOMILE ~ Prosperity, calming & soothing. Love, peace, meditation. ROSEMARY ~ Intellectual stimulation, purification, love, sensuality, wards against dark forces, invigorating. SAGE ~ Healing, prosperity, cleansing. Wisdom, longevity, protection, wishes granted. SPEARMINT ~ Stimulates, energizes and uplifts. Love, purification, healing, . psychism, creativity. Protects the home. VETIVER ~ Enhances perception of beauty. Love, sensuality, money, luck, hex-breaking. One I couldn't find on the list was Birch Leaves... but looking around online I see this: Protection, purification, wards negativity, love, new beginnings, changes.Apparently also calming on emotions. This is what Mara basically worked from, a very rough idea in my head of what properties a Snake potion would have: So a "Year of the Snake" perfume in my mind would have ingredients focused on: 1. money/prosperity 2. calming 3. giving a sense of beauty/air of beauty 4. 6th sense / increasing psychic sensitivity 5. mental acuity/mind/clarity/logic So I think she did it!!! All bases covered! Totally can't wait to get this. I think it'll be an awesome potion.

YES!!! Still waiting for my package. lol. Amphitrite didn't astound me because I found it a bit too "something else in there" for me. I love the light fresh scents.

OMG! I'm excited! The Snake PE sounds like it will be amazing!! Bamboo is a fave note of mine, and I love Chamomile. Can't wait. If I had the money I'd want a bottle of Jasmine Rain too, it sounds amazing, but I need to pay my taxes next month! Boo!

It's really easy to tell what I'm going to like isn't it? lol. Am I the only one who goes crazy for greeny/watery scents, but not over the sweet foody ones?

YES! PE stalking. I am ridiculously curious abut mine because I have no idea what notes are going to be in it! lol. I just basically said "I like these LPMP scents and generally watery greens." and left it all up to Mara.

I got a little bit of this courtesy of MissHazel. It's quite interesting. I'm getting a creamy sweet tea with hints of some other things in there I can't make out. Very lovely and definitely a scent I can wear. (Thank you MH!!)

I am SO there with this one. lol. Greens and water. That's exactly the kick I'm on right now.

Lavender! Must try. I admit I'm not as much into soft lavender, but it's always worth a try since I really like the scent of lavender.

I ordered a PE too. ^^; Not sure what the notes in mine are going to be though because I left it all up to Mara. Just asked for an intent driven greeny Year of the Snake perfume.

I also didn't wait and ordered a PE a few days ago. (The Year of the Snake one I've talked about for a while now)... plus a bottle of Nymph.

Have you tried Nymph at all? It's not a cold unisex aquatic. I think it's a more feminine aquatic and may lack that "bite" that a lot of people don't like about aquatics? (I'm biased, I love Nymph)
