  1. This statement here is false. Considering that humans naturally produce their pheromones on the pico/nano gram scale, What you consider too little, is considerably alot and does have dramatic effects. It's the reason why veterans are always telling others to start small and work your way up. Sample - 1 Finger Dab = Fine, work your way up from here Bottle - 2-4 inch roll = Fine, work your way up from there Also, Luna means well for your own good here. Don't take offense to what she's trying to tell you dude.
  2. Halo007 highly recommended that I give this a shot. While I heard that Tonka musk is Vetiver heavy, I'm not a fan of either Vetiver or Tonka as a single note. It's masculine, woody and green, it has this semi-clean straight out of the shower feeling to it. I almost want to buy some just so I can make some of the oil into Body Soap/Shampoo.
  3. I got a combination of spice, incense, and sweet fruit on my first try when I didn't even bother shaking the bottle. It was a casual outing/dinner with some friends but it didn't seem appropriate for what I was going for. I'm going to try Emperor again for when Ritual work is done.
  4. I'm glad you did, you should get some for the husband .
  5. New batch of LP stuff came in today. Today was like one those moments in merchandise life where the stars and planets align on the first try. Where fantasy matched reality. As if a first -chance meeting with a kindred spirit, Shade clicked with me. "This is how a man should smell like" , if this is what comes to your head on the first try, you've struck liquid gold. Sophisticated, Sharp, Refined, Gentleman-like, Office-friendly, Anywhere-friendly. Three things: The ingredients used to make this an appealing masculine scent, the fact that this is limited edition, and not a much more popular scent, is a holy trinity of mind blowing mystery. Whole point of this story: If you can find Shade, GET IT!
  6. I used some odor protection wash the other day and I think that affected the way Aja presented itself. Yesterday with 2 drops on neck and wrist, I left my skin bacteria to do it's work and the dry down was much nicer time this around. A friend described it as a "Raw incense-honey, like it's straight out of a beehive". All aside from the nice self-effect, I can't say I've noticed much else but I'm starting to think that maybe the females will get more use out of it compared to us guys.
  7. I ended up crashing before updating. The left side of my wrist possibly had more of the ingredient and needed more time to bloom. The smell that stays in the end is great. I have no complaints there. I showered and used some Doc Bronner soap in place of my odor guard protection body wash. If I smell my wrist, Aja still lingers around. It's that strong!
  8. My nose is all over the place with this one. One drop is plenty. I get a sour honey kind of impression. Before it was even mentioned in the thread, my nose immediately picks up the vinegar smell off of it. 8 hours in and I notice 2 different ways the smell evolves. On my right wrist, Aja blooms into more of the dirty floral honey scent that people talk about. On my left wrist, the vinegar scent persisted. Oh, and This gives some spritz of awakened energy the moment the scent dispersed off my skin. No noticeable effect as a phero on others but I'm playing with this for this week.
  9. Thanks QC, Merienda, and MissDC, everyone really. I hardly recognize the person who wrote this introductory post a year ago. Here's to working towards my periodal here
  10. I think I will do that, I've gone with 4 inches before so I may try to lower that. For being a fair weather poster, please forgive me btw. I've tried a sample of that a long time ago along with <3 throb. With the exception of DoM, all of the other LP's I've tried allowed my intentions to be weaved along the flow of the current, and not against it, like it has happened sometime with other stuff. Much <3, Much respect.
  11. I have both versions and prefer the Patchouli scented version. I'm in my late 20's so testing DoM is little skewed. I hoped, I'd be "Dirty young' man". It didn't quite work like that though Asides from gym attendance, I couldn't see much other occasion to want to wear it. The self-effects were ridiculously off-the-walls enjoyable. The raw primeval aggression, along with a stretched mischievous grin stuck to my face every time I've worn it. I swear, you couldn't pry off even if your life depended on it. I saw that I can engage bromantically among the dudes easily. Of course with females, reactions were all over the place. From very not so well contained attraction from teens to mature ladies, and in other cases, I specifically remember scaring the shit out of some ladies no matter how friendly I was. So I may have to age Dirty Ol' Man for another 20 years or so or use it on a future girlfriend. In my youthful incarnation, DoM is less Dirty Ol' Man, and more like Sexual Predator.
  12. I'll go on record here to say that living Midwest was eye opening. To view the world on another polar end. "Holy, Sh*t. Am I really back in Oz?", I've asked plenty upon arrival back. It has been 2 years since I've signed up. I'm sincerely glad I never gave up scent as a hobby. Well, that depends which potions we're talking about now. :V Of course, I respect them, cross my fingers and hope they'd do the same for me.
  13. I do appreciate it. Originally opting to go the Tumblr route, It feels much easier to share our thoughts here. This is one of communities that I know, is host and welcoming to plenty of eccentric people.
  14. Thank you for encouraging and welcoming me back, Halo
  15. Reviving this older thread. Standing among the alchemists who prefer using pheromones for more sophisticated executions, I don't use it as often now than I previously did. How has everyone dealt with the stigmatism enforced sometimes? I don't necessarily feel I need to hide my usage to my friends but, I've always run it parallel, to how people who have been accused of, Witchcraft, Sorcery, and Ethereal arts, must of felt when they were persecuted. Anyone with personal experience on this would be able to chime in? The moment of having felt misunderstand, or being confronted about their pheromone use?
  16. The home field experience of traffic, the reckless driving, the diverse crowds, the zest of the cold air massaging your face, accompanied with the lingering scent of sea salt, driving down the BQE past DUMBO, the smog, the noise, the assorted mix of language and cultures, the clattering steel of the passing trains, the sight of concrete buildings. The lack of space, the disbelief that the claustrophobia is actually welcoming. the feeling of working, building, and living with pragmatic optimism. To know that you didn't waste your time. It’s at that very moment, you've experienced a subtle shift. As if all the privileges, prejudices, and social dynamics, assimilated from one unified point of consciousness of reality, to another. You’re anchored. Welcome home tiger

    Gemini

Yup, resurrecting this oldie back . As you can see by the avatar, I'm a gemini. Born on the cusp of magic (Gemini/Cancer), which I guess blesses my personality with a mixed bag of Logic and Crazy emotions. I take that back though, I just appreciate the mysticism behind astrology and so, it should be no surprise I'd pick the fragrance up from the LP Artfire site. Back to the review. I'm surprised how much better this smells from a 1/3 ounce bottle compared to the sample I bought last year. The sample's lemon note stood out more and would occasionally give me headaches where as the full bottle was more well-rounded and not so invasive on the nose. I wouldn't be adding anything new here by explaining how it smells and projects on me. I see what people are talking about when they mention the dualities of the scent. The initial smell comes off to me balmy and fresh (lemons/rosewood) but once it settles down, it's reveals it's masculinity without losing that touch of sweetness (berries and musk). Overall, I wasn't dissapointed with my purchase. I'm glad the full bottle does the fragrance justice. Worth a try if you're looking for a casual/summer scent.
  18. LP homme is advertised as a summer scent but I've used it excessively this winter without any care. The memory scent for me is tied to wandering the mall as a teenager, the pungent air of bouquets, and sweet bakery goods wafting through the air. It seems to mesh well with my skin as applications to the superficial temporal / external maxillary pulse points along with the jaw, gives about an 8-10 hr projection time on me. As a matter of fact, I wore this alongside with Cops yesterday. Even though the app point of the cops was under my neck, the two scents meshed so well that you couldn't tell I was wearing any. I work with a lot of Latinos and Latinas in the service industry. I don't like to wear the foodie stuff around them cause they think it's "gay" or "feminine". Although, I consider LP homme foodie, It's likable at work along with Bodice Ripper, Thrill of the chase, and surprisingly Elementary (always thought this was an office scent). There are days lately where I like to go pheromone free, and what I love with LP scents it draws people in on it's own. It's very complimentary if you already have a normally healthy pheromone signature.
  19. I have a 10 year old kid sister that I watch over sometimes. She commented on it as we were finishing up on her homework. Tells me how she hates the taste of coffee but she loves the way it smells and how great it smells on me. This is what I feared. I am so conflicted with the many choices I have here. So far, so good here.!
  20. I can't go into elaborate details of what the scent was to me because I'm still new to distinguishing fragrance scents. I can only tell you if I think it was good or bad. I was sick with a cold/flu last week and was feeling crap. I put this on and Wow....for a light scent, it's strong. I can smell the pine as mentioned. I found it much easier to breath after I applied it on and it made what was formally a crappy sick moment, a more crappy-sick-tolerable moment. Verdict: I rike arot. Daytime and Autumn scent. Thank you for getting this for me, Shelly!
  21. Hey Syn, Hey JOC! If you're asking where I am located, I live in New York City. If you meant nationality, I'm an exotic mix of Vietnamese, Cambodian and Chinese. Yourself? It wasn't until I got into pheromones and fragrance that I learned my oily Asian skin gives me such a huge advantage for pheromone/fragrance diffusion! I love how intelligent and spiritual this community comes across. I am looking forward to learning much more and having a female perspective on attractive scents
  22. Thanks Liz! I Iz indeed a He. The day I received them, I was trying to use every possible space on my skin to see how they would work on me. I love most of the scents I've received so far. I think Love Potion # 9 smells a little "Mainstream" for my taste. Bodice Ripper's scent is intoxicating and I'm looking forward to Autumn for socials outings and dates with it on. Currently wearing Night of Delight and just feeling a tad bit dissapointed that the summer is over otherwise this is also another amazing scent.
  23. Halo, Merienda, and a few names I recognize! It's nice to see some familiar faces! Thank you all for your the warm welcome. I'm on the train heading to work slathered with bodice ripper and I can already tell, this will be the closest expensive hobby that I'll have next to collecting pheromones. #scentjunkie
  24. Okay, making my way here to say that UN is great. If I was a zombie with it on, I'd eat myself cause it just blends well with my skin. It may not have pheromones in it but it may as well as cause I was receiving a lot of compliments from males and females alike. My best friend tells me "No homo dude but you smell mad good!". My female co-worker told me that I smelled "Yummy". Yeah, you bet I wasn't hiding that shit eating grin on my face. This scent last forever but I think having oily Asian skin adds to it. Adding this to my fall/winter scent collection.
  25. Hey everyone! I just wanted stop lurking and pop in here to say Hello and introduce myself. You may know me from a certain other forum which I frequent and post very often. I'm no stranger when it comes to experimenting with pheromones and copulin. I've been on a break and having good time without them (for now). Seeing the summer sale threw my resolve in saving money (I'm traveling in a month), out the damn window. This is may strike some odd but one of my favorite scents to smell is the lead paint from the pre-war buildings in New York. Every time I smell it in the elevator or hallway, It brings back the memories of being young and the experiences in grade school. My scent collection goes as followed, Xeryus Rouge, Creed Aventus, Cool Water, Bijan Nude, and a whole collection of Attar Oil (Oud). I like to be that unique snowflake with scents. Just looking for that scent that screams "Me!" but also packing the monster-sillage. I ordered: Bodice Ripper Night of Delight Trials: Gemini Eanie, Meany, Miney! Hunter and the Woodland Nymph North Pole for Men Tarot: Wheel of Fortune Lap of Luxury Unseelie Sinful Indulgence LP SK: Mojo Oil LP SK: Persuasion Potion Ghost of Christmas Past Mapacho Un for men - Used it at work today Love potion # 9 I'm not sure if it was Mapacho or Ghost of Christmas past but the top note of one of them made me remember this candy of my childhood. Don't worry. You'll all be be hearing a review from me again very soon. Nice to meet you all!
