I want to try out Native Soil and Mummy Chunks if they are still around by payday. They both sound lovely! I have not been able to afford too many new scents lately, although I did get to order a nice full bottle of Potion 31.

Every time I wear this scent it seems to be even more beautiful. A truly lovely perfume.

Oh, I love this scent too! It always makes me feel just a touch more elegant and a bit prettier than I really am. Very sweet and feminine, but sold out so I use I one bottle very sparingly. Gorgeous!

Hi! The unscented pheros can be added to any of the perfume scents! Just add a bottle of the perfume (from the regular perfumery page) and the add in pheros (make sure you pick the add in pheros, the ones that are $20, rather than the full phero bottles) to your shopping cart. There is a little drop down menu on the phero page that lets you pick which pheros you want. When checking out, it might help if you type in a little note saying which pheros go in which perfumes, if you are ordering more than one. I hope this helps!

QUESTION?? I just placed my order i believe it was Sep. 12, 2008. No iam not writing to complain I know its still early but I got a response from Mara and in the email she said "My package is on its way" however I didnt recieve a tracking number yet so does it mean its already been sent out or is it getting ready to be sent out soon but hasnt been yet?? Iam just wondering. :angel: hehehhee. Once again not trying to be a pain but this is my big order so iam more excited then usual about it.

Hi AncientGoddess! I don't know if it has been shipped yet, of course, but I usually recieve a confirmation of my order several days before it ships out. I know it can be hard waiting (especially with bundles of delicious goodies headed your way), but two weeks isn't really a bad deal since they never charge for shipping in the US.

Trust me, the end result is ALWAYS worth the wait!

As for him, I don't think he liked me as much as I thought. Its Monday night, and I still haven't heard from him. Which is sad, because I really, really liked him and I got my hopes up too high

I am really terrible at writing reviews, so bear with me through my ramblings and digressions:

So, I had a first date (vain side note: Yeah! This makes two first dates recently. A previously unreached record for me ) on Friday night with a new guy friend. Since I like to move really, really slow I thought that the sweet floral scent of Betrothal would be an absolutely lovely touch. I think it is easily one of the most gorgeous, feminine LP scents. Plus, my most recent order, with a bottle of Treasure Hearts, had just arrived earlier this week. I am still learning about pheros, but I used a little bit about the base of my throat and a touch on the insides of my wrists. Five minutes later, I layered my Betrothal on top.

My results were very much unexpected. For all intents and purposes, I thought that Treasured Hearts was supposed to promote bonding and to bring out chivalery in guys. This was not exactly my experience. For the first part of the night, he was an especially sweet gentleman, telling me that he was glad to be out with me and holding my hand. I really liked this reaction. As the night progressed though, his hand attempted to move into previously unchartered territory, only to be sent back to safer ground by me. The next thing I know, he had his tongue jammed down my throat. (I know this does not sound all that sophisticated, but for me thats pretty darn far) Not exactly the bonding experience I expected on the first date.

Now I credit any sort of interest on his part to the Treasured Hearts, as under any sort ordinary experience I am far from lust inducing. I'm not really attractive enough to merit a mild ember. Now I am curious to see if the reaction to the combination of Betrothal and Treasure Hearts was a one time fluke, but I am almost afraid to try. Maybe I shall just have to try Betrothal by itself next date. The scent is lovely.

Edit to add: I just realized that this might be a case of TMI, so I am quite sorry if I offended anyone.

P.S. To 'for_love_of_Him', just to let you know that i have reserved the two bottles of Pheroboy Super & i'm planning to get both of them as soon as possible

Yea!! I hope you like it. It is supposed to smell amazing, and I'm pretty sure the pheros work wonders too!

 

LOL! Why does this label scare everyone? I searched and searched for a picture like this. I saw one in a fashion magazine where the girl was all painted white with white mascara, and I thought it was so beautiful, wintery and frosty, so I searched until I could find something to license that was similar.

I think the label is pretty!

I guess the best recommendation would depend on what you are trying to accomplish. If you are thinking of romantic pheros, I've read many reports that PheroBoy Super is good for this. (If it works anything like, PheroGirl Super, then I know it is good) I checked the LPMP shopping cart, and it looks like there are only 2 left. The original PheroBoy is supposed to be pretty amazing too! Although I have never used either, I have read some very nice reviews of both. Do you want to have a conversational "icebreaker?" Drop Your Guard is quite good for this. It is unisex, and I personally love it. I have a hard time starting conversations, and this phero makes talking easier on both sides! It is good for work, but especially good at creating a feeling of closeness and openness. It does not have to be used in an intimate situation though.

I hope this helps some, but no matter which one you pick, you will wind up with an amazing product. (I do hope that you try some of the scents though, as they are all absolutely lovely)

Just how stinky is Blatant Invitation? Can it be covered with non-LP fragrances? This makes me a little nervous to order. I would like to experience effects, but I want to smell great, too.

Hi tweetabird! I have not used Blatant Invitation, but it contains cops (which I do use). Copulins are pretty strongly scented stuff, so I imagine that you would definately want to cover up Blatant Invitation. Most of the scents I've tried do an absolutely lovely job of covering the smell, but some of the lighter scents (such as LP White) allow a bit of the smell to come through. I don't mind it, as any creep through is quite faint, and I've never had any complaints about smelling bad. I would recommend, just experimenting with different samples (whether from LP or elsewhere) until you discover which scents offer the right amount of "protection" (so to speak) from the smell. I hope this helps!

This is one of my favorites too! It smells absolutely yummy!

I got a little sample of this in my last order! It smells sweet and spicy; I love it. Its made its way on to my list of full sized bottles to buy, unfortunately that list is now as long as my right arm. But I don't need food, right? I can just live off of perfume.

As you can see, I'm new on these boards (but not new to Love Potions). I made a couple of purchases a year or more ago, set them aside (silly me!) and just recently revisited them. Which, of course, led to another order which arrived today I am testing right now and am experiencing a gentle bliss - could be Allegro, could be joining the forums :-)

 

I didn't notice the forums until just last week (uh, preocupied with scents, maybe?), else I'd have been here sooner.
