phergineer Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 The lemongrass lingered on my skin all day. It's fairly soapy, sharp lemongrass. I was looking forward to a potion with open Windows, but this seems a bit too sharp for me. It might work better after I let it rest for some time.
luna65 Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Boy this baby is bright! It is! The lemongrass does a lemon-flavored hard candy thing on me, which I think is related to combining it with tea rose, it's sweeter than I would have expected. I tend to like lemongrass even though it can go either way on me (wonderful/too soapy). In the drydown the blend is a bit more floral, but I really like it, it's so cheery. SAD Buster in a bottle for sure!
Lellen Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 My husband, who doesn't usually smell much of anything I wear, could actually detect the citrus in this one. He liked it. I liked it. I liked that he liked it. Winner! :0)
Beccah Posted December 8, 2015 Author Posted December 8, 2015 I tested Rosalynd on my arm, & I do not think this is a Beccah scent. The combination of tea rose & lemongrass is translating into "fancy soap" in my brain. Like the ones that are really pretty, & you're not ever supposed to touch them. Very clean smelling.
Midnight Requiem Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Wet, I get a lot of lemongrass, which eventually mellows and then the tea rose and tea notes come out. It's a very clean scent and kind of "uplifting" or bright to me. The drydown definitely reminds me of soap, as Beccah and Halo have said, but not in a bad way. I actually really liked this more than I thought I would and will be enjoying my sample, even if I don't go FB.
Witty Kitty Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 (edited) This is quite pretty, but it fades to almost nothing on me except for the blast of lemongrass. I added a bit of one of my strong-ish lavender scents to it to balance it out and that works all right. Edited January 5, 2016 by Witty Kitty
Blanche Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 This one is very lemongrassy at first, then it turns very very soapy on me. Almost to the point that I could have gotten a headache. After 2-3 hours, I can smell some rosy kind of scent. This one is not for me unfortunately.
The Baroness Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 As others have mentioned, the lemongrass in this is Right Up Front, - cheerful, clean, and assertive. After a few hours it mellows and the tea rose comes through, along with what I'm assuming is the black tea. Very clean and a little soapy, it's the kind of scent that I find goes well with the first week of January and all those New Year's resolutions.
IndieAna Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I enjoy the first burst of tart lemongrass that Rosalynd provides. It quickly dissipates into a clean, rose with the slightly bitter note of black tea. It reminds me of fabric softener, which I do like, but more on my clothes than as a perfume. Rosalynd is the perfect name for this fragrance, she's proper with airs and graces. No elbows on the table, please!
FlowerPower Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Today I had an important meeting so i wore the Rosalynd w/Open Windows. First, the scent: I thought it was ok, pleasant enough, clean, but I like scents that are sweeter and yummy smelling or glamorous. But WHEW Mara should really consider calling "Open Windows" - Chatty Kathy :say19:Boy oh boy were people telling me ALL their business today and just going on..and on...I also noticed that people seemed more light-hearted with this pheromone and people liked giving me hugs! Ha! This was the first pheromone that i noticed change the dynamic of a room. And people were very complementary of me. Very interesting. Still not as fun as the Popularity Potion when you get the dosage right...but this was a cool experience.
luna65 Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 LOL, that's what TMI is - we call it the "b-nol babble."
AzuraGrace Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 (edited) It's very clean, it goes soapy on me. Open Windows is fabulous! Takes me out of the doldrums, feeling floaty and fuzzy. However, I can over share wearing this as well as others. The selfies are worth it though. Edited September 13, 2016 by AzuraGrace
Lainey Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 I tried this one out a few days ago. I agree with whoever above said it smells like those little fancy soaps that are too pretty to actually use. And I like those scents, and I don't even mind smelling like soap, but this becomes almost too soapy, even for me. Almost. I will probably use up my little trial vial eventually. But I don't feel the need to seek out a bottle.
tyvey Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Mmmmm love. I’ve enjoyed this all along but today I was in the mood for some cops and I smeared it with Amazonian Zee and I have sniffed my arm off
tyvey Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 (edited) Oh! The whole reason I came here though was to comment on what a great social the OW was for me - great selfies (relaxed, confident, being totally myself) and someone who usually is polite enough but I’ve always sensed thought he was better than me - enough so, that he felt talking to me was doing me a favor - was fascinated by me and kept seeking me out to initiate conversation, which he has NEVER done in the many years I’ve known him. The best. I love OW and love these kind of results even more.
