Spiked Egg-Nog and Hot Buttered Rum, Figgy Pudding, Roasted Chestnuts, Boughs of Holly, Ivy and Fir makes this a deeply satisfying Xmas-y delight. I wanted to do a solstice potion this year that would appeal to a wide audience. I also wanted to do one that involved traditional Victorian Xmas notes: Spiked EggNog and Hot Buttered Rum, Figgy Pudding, Roasted Chestnuts, Boughs of Holly, Ivy and Fir, so we put our black caps on and worked out a great Xmas potion. After we combined all of the traditional elements, we added something a bit darker in the mix — a little resin and ambers. It's a great potion for those who like a complex scent with a touch of resin, sweetness and fresh greenery.
