Archive: Garden in the Rain

Recommended Posts

She would make herself be still

she would listen to the rain

she would listen to the wind

and what it had to tell her

she would speak to the bees

and learn their secret alchemy.

She would kiss a rose

and lick the honeysuckle

feel the grass like the skin of the earth

the dirt holding warmth and life and knowledge

all these things she would apprehend

once she began to be quiet

and listen

to everything around her.

Our resident Nature Boy - Le Wizard - has created a beautiful evocation of summer rain falling upon flowers in full bloom...naturally watery-sweet with a floral crown of nine varieties of rose and honeysuckle blossoms interwoven with rose stems, birch leaves and clover, and a polished base of mahogany, rosewood, sandalwood and blonde woods.

HONEYSUCKLE ~ Bonds of love, generosity; attracts money, prosperity, clairvoyance, healing, creativity, protection.
ROSE ~ Self-confidence, strong aphrodisiac properties, attracts affection & love, fertility, divination/clairvoyance.
CLOVER ~ Protection, preservation of youth, fidelity. Healing, soothing, luck.
BIRCH LEAF ~ Symbolizes renewal and cleansing, birth, healing, Lunar energies, and protection.
MAHOGANY ~ Fertility, growth, grounding, clarifying, bonds of love.
ROSEWOOD ~ Love, spreads an exotic aura, mystery, darkness. Enhances psychic powers, healing, divination, luck, protection.
