Beccah
Artwork Courtesy of Lynryd-Jym Narciso! That hue between red and blue known as purple has a fascinating history – it has long-been associated with royalty, given its' rarity and expense, but also symbolic of piety, adopted by the powerful "princes" of the Catholic Church, those considered the monarchs of their order. From mentions in the Bible and Greek epic poetry to the wardrobe of ancient Roman emperors to its fabulous modern-day expressions, love it or leave it but you simply can't ignore it. Purple is a shade to be reckoned with, and we acknowledge its power and prestige with a shower of wisteria blossoms framed by powdery frankincense, woodsmoke, and dry vanilla layered upon a smooth sweet musk. To ensure you will reign in any situation we have enhanced this fragrance with our exclusive pheromone blend HEART & SOUL, a social mix which strives to help ladies to really connect and resonate with people - whether it be with their loved ones, or just good friends. .:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:. Tinkerbelle
I realize this could change with a few days of sitting, but I'm liking it so far!! I don't get any smoke at this point. And other than that, I can't pick out too much individually...which is awesome. Definitely smells purple to me.
luna65
In this version, the wisteria is really intense in the vial and for about five minutes, and then the other notes take over. It's still in the background, but I'm getting way more of a powdery incense smoke kind of thing happening, and I don't think that was the thing with the previous version, at least on me. This really isn't my kind of scent, though, it also goes kind of soapy on me (which could be the musk, possibly)? So there's something which doesn't like my chemistry at all, I figure. Kayla
This starts out as all wisteria on my skin, then fades to a light floral. It reminds me of an expensive bath soap that has a pleasant scent. I don't get any smoke or vanilla at all. I have never tried the original version, so I can't offer a comparison. Bella15
I don't really remember too much about the original, but I traded my trial vial away so it must not have been my kind of scent. This version is all scary wisteria at first, I almost feel like my allergies will act up, lol. But it fades into a powdery soft scent, with just a hint of the wisteria. I don't think I have anything with Heart & Soul so I will definitely keep this.
Kovvy
On me, this one starts off all baby powder. It dries down to a nice powdery floral. It's very well-balanced and blended, so it's hard to separate the different scents! It seems sophisticated.
Lainey
I like this; it's kind of different. I tend to automatically assume anything "purple" has lavender in it, so I guess the wisteria came as a bit of a (happy) surprise! And the smoke gives it a sort of "edge" that appeals to me, and it didn't make me feel sick like the smoke note in Lava Rain. At least...not until the smoke from the forest fires up north turned the streets of Calgary all smokey. Because...that happened yesterday. Which is when I was wearing this. I could have done without the extra smoke in the air! So I like this, I'm just not sure how much I like it. I hate saying this because it seems like I said it in every. single. old. review, but I'm probably going to have to try this one again at some point to narrow it down. Now I shall endeavour to not leave it so long that it gets sold out in the meantime...
Lochkopp
1) I really like this scent. 2) I'm not sure if I had my first real 'hit' with this one a few days ago... I visited a "friend". The kind of friend where you lose your clothes during the evening. When getting ready at home I deceided to put on some Papal Purple (since I only have the trial so far it was oil). Round 1: nothing special. But my body was definitely heated up (I've already read a bit here about oils and diffusion and so on). After that some cuddling happened. I guess it was some time for him to get the H&S in his nose. Because suddenly he started kissing me and he didn't stop until round 2 was finished. It felt like half an hour. I've never experienced something like this before, very passionate. If there is something like "making love" insted of "having s.." it must be something like this was! To be fair: we don't know each other long & well enough to say that it was definitely the H&S what caused this. But there wasn't anything similar before. My feeling says that Heart & Soul at least helped a bit to make this possible and I'm still a little bit overwhelmed. I don't know if he also was overwhelmed but he told me 3 times how much he is/was enjoying what is happening/happened. So, Thanks Papal Purple, I really like you! 🥰

dolphindolls2
Is anyone getting a heavy smoke smell with this one? I love all the notes except smoke...
Lochkopp
Well, I'm a smoker and maybe I don't smell "smoke" as intense as a non-smoker would? I didn't sniff smoke out of the scent. I wore Papal Purple on the same friend again and again it was a quite passionate experience. He is definitely reacting to it in a very pleasant way. It turns 'sex' into 'making love' with him and I'm really enjoying those moments. Unfortunately I'm not sure if it has any other effects while not making love. But this 'passion ticket' is well worth wearing PP around him. I'm planning to throw Perfect Match & some BAM on him at the next opportunity and I'm curious how/if he will react. Chaos Angel
I think I get a lot of Wisteria from this one. It’s very light on me. I’m loving the Heart and Soul Self Effects.
Anonymous2F
This is MUCH nicer than I remember! The first version just wasnt for me for some odd reason (I honestly dont remember much about it). But THIS--this is sultry wisteria slinking out of a plume of sweet smoke, it gives off an enticingly edible..aura? I really dig the scent, FB all the way!
