For me this is definitely a deep woods kind of Autumnal fragrance; like, just that general scent of walking through Fall woods.  I do get a hint of smoke but it doesn't specifically read as woodsmoke to my nose.  I think this is a good more sort of "fresh" wood scent (as opposed to what I think of polished/cut wood or something like that) in that it's got an earthy undertone to it.  And definitely masculine!

Won’t be home until Monday to review this fully but seriously, how does this not have more reviews?  Although I really do appreciate Luna’s review because that is what inspired me to try this.  NICE!!

I love this scent.  It's the perfect kind of green scent with a woodsy drydown that has a hint of amber in the background adding just a hint of sweet depth to the dry woods.  This lasted all day on my skin and it was really fun smelling it evolve as the day wore on.  My bride seemed to really enjoy the scent on me as well.  

 

I also really enjoyed the Hunter Trapper phero blend but I always do.  My bride seems to have a natural affinity for beta-androstenol so this helped her to be upbeat and cheerful while also being a bit more affectionate than normal.  Just a smooth blend that is bonding and attractive.

I'm finally getting around to sorting my male scent samples for the last 1.5 years. Shame on me !

 

This is my husband in a bottle. Seeeeriously sexy to me. He loves ferns so much that we have multiple varieties growing around our home. He looks for new ones every opportunity he can get. Plus he's an oak/wood sort of dude. And if you had to press him for just one more ingredient that he knew he liked, he would say sage or amber.  I opened this, squee'd, applied to myself, immediately felt close to him. And has luck would have it, he walked by, applied it, said it smelled "spicy' and is now taking it for a spin at the grocery store. Oh what fun ! 

To me the dominant note is amber which is great with me because I adore that it arouses me. I don't know where he gets spicy, but it may be in the same direction that @luna65 was referring to when she said smoky. It reminds me of two of last year's Yankee Candle releases, namely the Oak and Lavender, or the Oak and Amber Incense. 

This strikes me as mildly masculine with unisex leaning, certainly something I will be wearing when I'm lonely for him.

Because the population of this forum is predominantly female, there's likely less discussion of the pheros for males over here.  I would say if there IS extensive discussion regarding the Hunter Trapper phero and/or fragrances featuring it, they're likely to be on PheroTruth forum instead.

What would you like to know about it?  Hunter Trapper is a very good date night Phero combo.  Not only is it attractive to women but it has a wonderful emotional ‘hook’ to it as well.  People around the wearer are attracted to them but also feel more emotionally connected as well.
