The scent indescribably floats my energy into space, and connects me others. The lotus and water lily are in the front seat, and the musk and bamboo are hanging out in the back. It is a very crisp, clean floral, and almost sweet.. but not quite. luna65 Posted March 2, 2019 Share Posted March 2, 2019 Just for curiosity's sake I compared this with what I believe is the original version of GotBM, from the Boho Cats collection. To me this new version is a bit more clean and linear than the original, it really does have a sheer watery feeling to it, a translucent quality. I agree with Bella that the floral notes are right in the center of it; the original had a sort of powdery vibe to it. In fact, my girly girly daughter who is very sensitive to “sharp” tones (which is how whatever note translates to soapy for me usually are) LOVES this. I need to hide it so she doesn’t sneak any. I blame the LFN for the exceedingly physically affectionate and unusually creative spousal attention this afternoon. That was quite unexpected. Lainey Posted May 26, 2019 Share Posted May 26, 2019 Oh, this is a beauty! Mara told me it was the closest scent to the Mermaids of Multnomah shampoo bar, which I love. In fact I love it so much than when my mom visited me this past week and threw it out (why!?!?!? She said she thought it was "old soap." Which still does not explain to my satisfaction why she threw it out!), I may have made her go through the trash and retrieve it. Luckily we did retrieve it, and no worse for wear after a rinse. ANYWAY, I do see the similarity in these two scents, although they are of course a bit different. On me, this is quite faint--I had to apply it twice to actually get a scent out of it, but then it stayed pretty well. I noticed that it was still there when I woke up early this morning, but it had almost a metallic edge? I'm not sure why that was. Part of me wants a full bottle but I already have SO. MANY.
