‘Tis the season for lurid tributes and so we acknowledge the crafty Giulia Tofana of Palermo, who made it very easy for ladies of the early 17th century to rid themselves of a particular household nuisance with her infamous concoction. Seemingly innocuous with no taste or smell...but it dealt a deadly blow indeed! We’ve reimagined her poison...err potion...with a decidedly earthy and herbal cast: fresh tomato leaf - a member of the nightshade family - Morrocan mint, black licorice extract, green and black pepper EO, spicy pimento leaf EO plus black walnut and a touch of oakmoss. Not for ingesting, we must caution, but a fragrance most delightfully macabre indeed!

LICORICE ROOT ~ Love, lust, fidelity, sexual potency.
TOMATO LEAF ~ Love attraction, repelling of negativity.
PEPPER ~ Protection, fidelity, dispels envy and evil, exorcism, breaks hexes.
PIMENTO ~ Luck, health, prosperity, money.
OAKMOSS ~ Luck enhancing, financial success, protection, charity. Parental and unconditional love.
PEPPERMINT ~ Stimulates, restores and uplifts. Cleansing, purification, relaxation, sleep, healing, psychic amplifier.
BLACK WALNUT ~ Wishes granted, strengthens the heart, enhancement of mental powers. Dark earthly powers.
