Iris, Black Currant, Caramel, Praline, Vanilla, a drop of Amber EO.

I am kicking myself for not ordering a second bottle. Love the iris and black currant. Together its juicy. I  don't get any of the powderyness until it starts to dry down. Then with the praline especially it is wonderful.  Think this one will be great for Fall and early Spring.

I was very excited about it but for for some reason it gives me dill scent on my skin. I let it rest for few weeks by now. I guess I’ll just park it till nest summer and see if it changes

I thought it was just me. Pickle juice in the bottle and on my skin and it's been a few weeks. The intensity of it has lessened over time, but it's still a very present and sharp pickle evocation. Even with that said, I enjoy sniffing it because I really love pickles 😅 It totally reminds me of Utz fried dill pickle chips, which I'm addicted to.

Is it the Iris that is giving off this scent? However, I Googled it and there's nothing really pointing to this possibility.

One other thought: During a meeting today, one of my colleagues mentioned they are part of the percentage of people that find cilantro tastes like soap (it's genetic and related to an olfactory receptor gene and possibly other genes as well). I'm not super familiar with iris, so I'm wondering if something similar is happening here? I'm only suspecting this because of how intense the dill pickle was, so much so, I thought maybe the bottle accidentally fell into something.

Went back took a sniff still in the bottle. I do get that dill note but it doesn't come out on my skjn.
