No one's talking about this one yet?

It's so pretty and fresh and green. Just a bit of the oak and chestnut peeking through.

I think I'm feeling the effects of the Tranquility Potion as well :666:

I may need a bottle of this one...

I meant to post about this one on Friday...but lost the thought due to stuff with mom...need some focus potion...hehehe

but anyway, as I had digressed obviously. LOL

"A little play on words...this is actually an aromatherapy and pheromonal rescue potion, for when you are stressed to the max and feeling like you're going down for the third time. This is a soothing floral, fruit, nut and herb combination, with the fabled attributes of calming hysteria, shock and trauma, lowering stress and granting patience."

I like this phero...the scent first off is not cloying, but it is definitely there...wet this smells very citrusy to me, on dry down it smells a bit herbal...the scent is very long lasting on me. not a bad scent overall, but I would always wear mine paired with something IDK

I must say that it does work as the description says....I felt very calm and relaxed, upbeat the whole work day... I mean nothing was getting next to me...even people coming within my range were all relaxed and upbeat...I had one coworker come up to me and was ready to vent but after a few seconds she was fine, not even sure she realized nothing was bothering her anymore...everyone was just happy and uplifted around me. The whole office as a matter of fact and that is indeed RARE!

I was a lil nervous at first because one of the coworkers kept commenting that something smelled like bug spray or furniture polish... I thought to myself perhaps she is smelling the lemony/citrusy smell in my perfume, but I was in such a jovial mood I didn't give a rats a**...It definitely eased any of the many stressful situations that happened this day, that would normally pissed me off majorly...I was able to excercise much patience where needed.

it was a good day indeed...definitely glad I have this bottle...I think I shall call this my "bottle of aromatherapy...to keep from killing you"...hehehe

Djac, you almost made me spit my tea on my computer.....I think I need to buy a permanent raincoat for my laptop when I am surfing this forum!

Sounds like I need some May Day for sure....will definitely be trying this one soon! Probably when my sweetie and I (along with one 10 yr old, one 11 yr old, and one 12 yr old) make our 16 hour trip to visit my mom and grandma in a couple of weeks....that is a road trip worthy of Tranquility Potion for sure, I would think!

OH, I feel sure it will be a trip I'll never forget!

I have been having a hellish day, so I am testing May Day today.....it is fresh and light......the scent reminds me of a fabric softener that I used to use, but can't remember the name of.....I loved that scent.....

The pheros seem to have calmed my nerves a little.....so, that is a big plus! Will be testing further, for sure!

I've been huffing this one almost continually (nerves on edge much?) since I got my order in...it really helps mellow me out, and I'm pretty much a basket case these days. I wasn't going to order anything (YOU know that song and dance LP kids!) but I went Full Bottle on this. B'sides, it does smell pretty!

Same here as far as the intent not to order anything right now goes. I caved yesterday and got a full bottle of this and Heart & Soul. If May Day is as calming as I've been reading, it will be wonderful to have at work. Lots of anger and uncertainty around, and people are tired and edgy from working lots of overtime because we're short-staffed. I also bought another bottle of Lioness just because I DESERVE it!!

Katz, hang in there! Hugs!

"My Bottle of Aromatherapy to keep from Killing You"....um, Djac, I love you girl. You have a way with words.

And Katz-keep huffing baby. It's gotta get better SOMETIME.

I have this comin in the mail. I understand the whole"not ordering" thing.

I can only order once every 2 or 3 months-but they are insane. Absoulutely insane.

I'm kindof hoping maybe Mayday will help me cut back on my Clonopin(a psych drug I take every morning to ward off panic attacks. It's addictive though, and when I run out I get very BAD panic attacks). So hopefully this Tranq potion hits the mark! I'll be back for an update!

Thanks you guys... I appreciate it. I've got a dr.'s appt. next week to see if I can do something about the NOT sleeping. It's gotten to the point where just 'natural' methods are not working, and Tylenol PM is ick. I've had panic attacks too, lately Cheez, and I can attest it is No Freaking Fun. I'm hoping it's all due to the lack o'sleep goodness, and that will sort itself out. If not I'll play that game when I get there. Tranquility and May Day! are pretty much the only pheros I can abide right now... those and drops of the actual Bach's Rescue Remedy keep my nerves in check, mostly.

Katz, I personally use Lunesta when my sleeping problems get bad....LIKE TAX SEASON! During not-so-bad times I can sometimes get by with high dosages of melatonin (like 3X what they normally say to take.....my doc said their dosages are "off") in a combo with valerian.....

I have had sleeping issues since I was a teen....bouts with full-out insomnia, night waking, all of it....lunesta is GOOD. Works much better than ambien, IMO.

Thanks Dolly, I'll keep that in mind. I've tried the melatonin/valerian route both of which make me feel hung over. I'm ready for something that doesn't make me half-dead after waking!

Insomnia is a definite battle for me. Hence why you can find me on here at 2, 3,4 etc in the morning... I am getting more and more anxiety attacks and am stressing over nothing and anything usually. At the moment I seem to be going through a pretty good sleeping time. I am at least able to get to sleep at night, I just wake up every hour or so. But for me that is better then not being able to sleep... I feel for you katz, and wish you a peaceful sleep tonight. I hope it comes to you softly and holds you in a cacoon all night. Take care my dear.

Now onto May Day! I got my sampler tonday, WAHOOO! THis is the first sampler I am officially testing out and it is nice. I get fruits and floral when wet. To me it is a lil berry-ish and an aquatic floral (must be the water violet) as it dries down I get more of the rose and a herbalness. After about 15 mins I totally get the snuggles fabric softener scent! (Its almost got a clean soap smell to it too...) This is a nice comforting LP perfume. I like it and can see myself having this around for the times when peace is required. Work has gotten super crazy busy, which is good $$$ wise, but it is STRESSFUL! I think this would be a good phero to wear around my partner on days like that.

I wasthinking to myself that this may be a touch to soft and rose-floralish for me to wear. I am youngish and floral-rose scents sometimes dont seem right on me, personality and age wise. I really like this scent and its properties though. My thought was to pair it with another scent to even out the florals. Well I happen to have put in on my hand near by Ajia's Sug Amber, Cardamon & Vanilla, and well, these two scents blend very nicely together and give a good balance. I am going t have to try some similar scents to potentially pair with this...fun and so soothing.

A great scent indeed...

Yes you do....but if your doc is good and you give them a detailed history of your problem, they will normally write you one....

And Katz, I never get the hang-over effect from Lunesta....just about 15 min or so of a hard-to-wake-up feeling because I have slept so heavy.....after that its gone and I'm good to go!

I can relate to you exactly CC. I go through the same exact thing...I think stress and diet pay a big factor with me though...and the fact that I just don't enjoy exercising at all!! I know ..what a shame! I get up like 3 times a night and just cannot fall asleep....thinking of seeing a doc about this problem...cause 10 years is enough for me...how long have u been going through this problem CC??

Yes you do....but if your doc is good and you give them a detailed history of your problem, they will normally write you one.

Ahhh I have issues with doctors..last time I went I gave them my history and everything and I think they thought it was all in my head but I know me better than any doc so,...I think it might be the fact that I move so often so, really not fair cause I never have a "main" doc to talk things over with! Thanks very much for your suggestions though Dolly....

Note to self..need to make a doc's appt...Should I go see a specialist...like a sleep doc? or do u think any general practitioner will do?

I went to regular GP....if they think you should go to a specialist they will tell you....some ins companies will make you go through a "sleep study", thank goodness mine didn't....getting the Lunesta script was the first thing my new doc ever did.....you just have to find the RIGHT doc, who knows that it isn't all in your head....

Hope it works out!

I hope I can discuss these issues with a good GP...if not I am wondering if it is ok to consult a pharmacist..my sis is a pharmacist but she lives all the way in Canada...Aye Caramba!

Guess it is best to just go and see a doc and just tell them my problem...

I have been like this for most of my adult life...I don't take anything though, mostly just suffer with it...doc tried to prescribe once, but funny thing is they always wanna prescribe something thats also used for antidepressant

UH...anyone who knows me, will attest that I do not believe in depression(for me),

nor am I ever depressed no matter what is going on....I just wanna sleep...hehehe

I am definitely going to buy a full bottle of this, my sample vial is going to be running on fumes soon. For fun I compared this to Beltane and the two are similar to a point. Beltane is deeper in tone with more berry and wine like notes, and May Day is more fresh, green and has aquatic tones. But both have fresh, green, and fruit notes. For some reason when I started wearing May Day, a light musky note came out; I am not sure what that is.

mmm I like this. I was a bit worried when I heard something about the citrus amping though as I'm not big on overly citrus scents (with a few exceptions) but it's giving me no problem there. It is like a laundry scent but more than just that and with something deeper. It's fresh and yet seems a bit spicy at the same time maybe it's the walnut or something I really don't know. I have a hard time picking out anything really. It's a pleasant and laid back scent.

The phero's are also a plus and I can't make a huge detection of the affects of it as I am not super stressed right now but I will be soon enough...

I love this! I need to order (a) bottle(s) of this, because this will become my new nighttime scent, I'm sure.

The scent it absolutely soothing in a fresh way. Most calming blends/perfumes seem to have lavender in them and I can understand that. It's just that I find the scent of lavender extremely distracting and it actually keeps me awake.

But this calms me down and not just because of the phero's.......it was either this or I would've boosted a bottle of Nymph with Tranquility, because watery, fresh scents seem to soothe me and my frazzled nerves.

And it's not that I don't sleep or have trouble falling asleep, it's just that it's a restless kind of sleep....you know that feeling that you've been busy all night?

Last night I felt so calm and relaxed and finally got a good night's sleep......it was wonderful! This really is a good scent to have the Tranquility mixed into....they compliment each other very well.

May Day! is primarily sweet to me, but not foody-sweet or even flower-sweet, really. But that's the word which springs to mind. And it is so well-blended I can't pick out anything, I'm just enjoying the scent entire. I was a little timid considering the ingredients, but it's lovely.

Blended with Tranquility Potion this is a godsend...even if you're not necessarily anxious about a specific thing, you can achieve equilibrium and that's amazing to me. You can ponder problems with a detachment which will allow you to step outside of your own anxiety and find some clarity, hopefully.

Thank you, M&D, for this...as for all things.

Ugh I can't wait to get this! OR start 'pinging' you all.

Last week(have I told you this?), there was a feirce electrical storm here, and I lost two tv's and fried my laptop!!! Argh!

Because...I'm a moron and only had unimportant gizmos plugged into surge protectors. Not my mega expensive Sony Vaio laptop-oh no, I couldn't be that smart.

The good news is I have a friend who is a computer wizard and is going to do his best to fix it, and even if he can't, he will retrieve my data for me.

Other good news is that sweet sexy boy I've been seeing brought me a television the next day..he carried out of his car with ONE HAND. God he's hot.

Anyway, meanwhile I'm stuck with my iPhone so no pings, and I wait patiently for Mayday and my other plethora of goodness.

Katz, I take Ambien, and a mood stabilizer(originally created for migranes, but used for a variety of things), called Topomax. It's great because it's not an anti deppressant. There's no dry mouth, insomnia, sexual side effects, ect. And it works really well. The only side effect is appetite decrease, which the docs actually use for people trying to lose weight as well, and it helps you sleep to boot. So you might wanna look into that one if you have good insurance.

State aid covers mine, otherwise the stuff is retardedly pricey-like 300 bucks a month pricey.

But it's been workin great for mood, sleep AND I've gone from 211 pounds down to 172 over the past year. Not too shabby.

And yes, I see a pshychiatrist and a psychologist. Talking, at least for me, really helps get it all out there and um "cleanse my palate"-mentally.

Personally? Best thing I could have done. Sometimes the world is just too big and heavy to handle on your own. But that's just my humble opionion. I'd never try to force it on ya, I'm just telling you, I've been through HELL and back. And without pros, I'd probably be back on drugs at the very least.

So- take that info and do what you will.

Love ya girl. Talk to y'all later.

Xoxo, Lori

You can try Nordic Naturals fish oil. When I kicked meth I had huge panic attacks. My fav. nutritionist Doug Kauffman talked about this supp. on his show. The official study using this brand showed that taking the fish oil helped to calm anxiety, nervousness & other things that go along w/ being a former druggie. I use the prenatal formula (not prego just have a hard time taking new stuff). You can get it @ IHerb.com & I have a code for $5 off your 1st order if you're interested. All the meth & x I used to do must have done a number on my serotinin levels! For a while I couldn't even drink iced tea w/out freakin out. Thank the lord for that info I got on the fish oil, I'm functioning better than I have in years.

I was pleasantly surprised to have fallen in love with this one. I am so glad I ordered a full bottle. This is beautiful! Floral with just a hint of fruit (but not too strong) and a nice green undercurrant. Not green, but a green undercurrant. It also has a slightly deeper feel, which is probably from the wood and nuts. I was expecting the violet to really turn on me, luckily it is an extremely subtle note on me in this blend.

The tranquility potion is fantastic. I wore this when I was having a really rough day and it totally turned my mood around. :banana026:.

Finally got try this one. Did it right before my 2&half yr. olds bedtime. Instead of running around the house laughing @ me like a little gremlin as usual. He said momma "mell good"& wanted to cuddle w/ me & go night, night on "cou"(ch). I personally felt like I had eaten a valium, very calm & relaxed. Made my husband sniff deeply when he got home from work. He said he felt the same way.

I blended May Day with Happy Water for work, and the results were pretty good. I was calm and in a bright mood, and people around me were doing well it seemed. Even nasty folks affected me much less. Neither blend is very heavy, but I did notice that May Day was more noticeable scent wise.

I like May Day so much that I've added a bottle to two of the sale orders that I've placed this month. So there are THREE bottles of this potion in my hoard.

I love the scent, but I can't really comment on the scent because I've been using this potion before bed. It is a WONDERFUL sleep scent because the combination of the fragrance and the Tranquility Potion pheros create a cloud of ease and calmness. I can feel myself relaxing and appreciating the fragrance as I do so, but the part of my mind that might try to detect the different notes isn't active. And that's the key for me: I've worn this on a few nights recently when I was upset from things that happened at work and would normally have laid there turning them over and over in my mind. Instead, my mind quiets down, I can fall asleep and release the stress, and I wake up feeling rested rather than stuck in the stress rut. This mind-quieting is something that I can usually do on my own, and I am fortunate not to have sleep problems as a general rule.

Anything that helps quiet my mind enough to allow my primary "things are fine, all is well" attitude to return is GOLD.

BRAVO, ladies!

I use this to calm my toddler, along with the Bach's Rescue Remedy drops, the potion is based on. You really should try those drops. Mayday is nice, because at times my little monkey refuses to take said drops.
