Pheros and Birth Control Pills

Hello everyone! First time poster, long time lurker, so I hope I'm doing this correctly. If this isn't the correct forum for posting this question, please pardon the faux pas!

 

I'm a total phero newb but I'm so excited to get started. I recently stumbled upon the LPMP shop while trying to decide if I wanted to purchase Demeter's Always Sexy pheromone perfume. Though I found LPMP and I think I made a better decision. I ordered a full-size LAM in Vanilla and a sample size of Phero Girl.

 

So, my questions are... 1.) I remember a few forum members commenting that birth control lowered their natural cop levels. Well, I've been on BC for a couple years now but I don't think I've been taking it long enough for my natural levels to be affected (I'll be twenty-two in a couple months, so I think I'm still pumping 'em out). BUT I'm wondering if using phero perfumes and using BC sends out some mixed chemical signals. Has anyone had any experience this this?

 

2.) The basic question that everyone seems to ask - which one is better: LAM or PG? Specifically, which one is more "everyday" and which one should be left for more ~special occasions~? I don't think I'm going to wear phero perfumes everyday, because if they're as potent for me as they seem to be for everyone else, I think it would be better for days when I want to attract a little extra male attention. Do any of you use them everyday and how do you do it?

 

To let you know a bit more about me, I'm a college student and I work in a cafe. I thought about wearing a perfume to class or work but I'm kind of scared haha. I think the copulins scare me - I don't know whether I'll smell like pee, attract all sorts of unwarrented attention from customers, offend females around me, or all of the above My favorite regular scents are Thierry Mugler's Angel, Vera Wang's Princess, and Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf - usually gourmands or florientals, hence me getting stuff that smells like vanilla and honey. Sorry about the novel length post! I'm just psyched to try this stuff and introduce myself to all of you.

Hey Nola Welcome...welcome to your new second home...trust be, you'll be back...then some day at some point, like many many of us addicted ladies, you will find that you never leave and at that point you'll say aw what the hell and you will bring a pillow and blanket and you'll be renting a room on the forum just like us...yep, remember I told ya. lol

now about your post...nice job on ya 1st purchase...oooh that vanilla Lam is the bomb...I love the vanilla, Spicy brown sugar and Pink...

I also just received a bottle of Pherogirl II from a trade and I have to say, it is fabulous. so very good choices.

 

sorry I don't have the answers to your questions, however, plenty of the ladies will have vast amounts of info on this one I am sure....I would like to hear the answer to number 2...great questions BTW

 

and cops scare me too...well, just the stank...but the ladies here are so great about covering them... I love to get the stuff they mix up...makes it easier for me...you should definitely try some of the OCCO's...they are a fab way to wear cops that are nice and pretty by the time they dry down...and not too bad during the wet stage.

Hi . The pheromones will depend on your own individual skin chemistry. Even that changes from day to day. If you see something that grabs you pheromone wise. My advice would be pick it up & give it a week. Also they are oil based, so the warmer you are. The more hits you'll probably get. I think Dominance is a wonderful work blend. Just go easy, it's better to have none on @ all than to overwhelm people. I know Djac likes Est., Rosebud prefers Open Windows. I love H&S and Dominance. It all depends on you're personality. I like dominance for work, because I am 4'11" 110lbs(usually, lol). It gives me a taller more in charge presence. I got mine in a fragrance blend, so it is half the strength of the unscented. The H&S is a warmer, fuzzier blend. You might want to be careful wearing it @ work. As you may find yourself blabbering about pretty flowers, lol. It depends on your personality. I am not really a very affectionate person., so I enjoy wearing it out to the club. It makes me less 'icy'. As far as the cops. I haven't used BC in over 4 yrs., so I am great w/ using the LAM. It comes in like 4 varieties, & is very easy to layer w/ your favorites. I would definitely say you should try LpRed w/ your cops. It's a very, sexy blend( I wouldn't wear it @ work!). Hello, Nola....since you are young, you probably are still producing a lot of cops....LAM and PG are both cop heavy, so you may want to ease off those at work and school.....it is not that you will smell bad, but cops aren't discriminating, and they will raise men's testosterone levels.....some can deal with that, some can't.....you may get some unwanted reactions....

 

Beccah made some really good suggestions.....Dominance is excellent for work....you can either get a perfume boosted with it, or you can get it unscented and cover it with the scent of your choice. I love my DOM....can't get through a work week without it.....I always end up having to "whip it out"....Open Windows is great for mood elevating and conversation starting, and I LOVE Treasured Hearts too....those are some of the more "social" blends, and any of those would be fine for everyday.....NOW, blends like Blatant Invitation, LAM, BAM, and OCCO are GREAT, but they are HIGHLY sexual.....you can do them in public, but you need to be prepared because anything, AND I DO MEAN ANYTHING can happen!

 

I do wear pheros everyday, and what I wear depends on my mood and what I want to accomplish.....we have Focus Potion, Dominance, Open Windows, Treasured Hearts, Blatant Invitation.....I love them all! Some days you may want a friendly response, and some days you may want a sexual one.

 

Now, a word about diffusion.....if you live in a colder climate, as the LP pheros are based now, they do not diffuse quickly.....they diffuse though body heat.....the DPG (oil) based blends (which would also apply if you have one of the perfumes like LAM or PG) will diffuse slowly, and will most likely affect people who are in your personal space of about 2-3 feet. Also, people who get in your "scent trail" when you walk through a room. You can also get the unscented pheros in CPS (or D5), which is a silky, silicone base which helps keep the pheros on top of the skin....it diffuses a little faster than oil.....Mara said that soon she will be offering them in alcohol-based sprays, but I'm not sure if that is available yet. Alcohol-based blends diffuse very quickly, and will throw your pheros all over the room....very good for social blends where you want people to be happy-go-lucky....not so good for sex signals. Also good if you live in a colder climate.

 

Now, about cops.....I wear a lot of cops, and I do it in public. I used to throw them around like high-frequency radio waves. Now, I still wear a lot, but if it is in public, it is when my man is with me. Helps ensure that things don't have as much of a chance to get ugly....men don't ALWAYS hit on me when my man is with me....some still do, but those men are the reason I am glad that he is with me. Also, the cops just do "better" in an oil or CPS base....cops are SEX signals, nothing more, nothing less. The only people who you want to smell that are people who are close to you. OH, and NEVER EVER put a cop blend in your hair....I have waist length hair, and I had a hellish time trying to get it out.

 

 

OH, and as per your other question, I can only tell you my experience, which is not very scientific. I used to use bc, used it for years (now am "fixed" and in peri-menopause....ugh)....I also was using it when I first started with pheros....I never noticed any effect of mixed signals as such.....the cops just counteract any decrease in cops production from bc use. You'll be fine.

Hey Nola!! First of all welcome to the forum babe! LOL you can ask questions anytime love, we'd love to help ya out!

 

Alrighty so lets take a look at your questions

 

1) Yes when some women take BC for a long time they stop producing cops or start producing less cops. Since you're 22 you're producing cops naturally. So you might not need a lot of cops. Personally, I tend to use more cops and that may seem a lot to certain members here to get a reaction. But just because you need to use more cops it doesn't mean something is wrong with you I've used BC and cops at the same time and I didn't get any negative self or mixed effects Imho, copulins tend to make you feel more sexy So hey all the better lol

 

However, I always recommend everybody to start with a small amount when using cops and work your way up. We all are different, we have different body chemistries, need to use different dosages and different sweet spots. With cops, I have always thought that it's like a trial and error experiment. It could be a hit or a miss, but once you find that sweet spot, baby you're going make those boys cry lol Don't be scared, explore and experiment it's fun actually!

 

2) Lam or PG?

I personally like LAM a lot better for the pheros and PG a lot better for the perfume you could always layer them of course. LAM has a very light scent but I like the pheros a lot better, and PG has a very sexual aroma, it's a very bold and seductive perfume that makes a statement but imho I don't think that it has enough cops for me, I need to use more with it. But I've seen PG work for certain members here, so don't put it down because of my experience. Like I said we're all different

 

I have worn LAM, PG, Tail, OCCO, SS4W ...etc. in social and public situations and during night when I traveled by bus it's not overtly blatantly super sexual on me imho. Personally, I think with the oils you need to be very close to your target guy to get a whiff off you to get a reaction. Unless you're in a warm environment an you're lightly perspiring, then oils get diffused better imho.

 

In my opinion you shouldn't use pheros every single day. I don't know how to explain this damn, okay I will try my best lol.

 

I tend to use pheros around or less than 5 days a week because if you use it 24/7 all the time people around you will get used to your phero signature so much that they might not react to it after a while because they are so used to it. So if you give your body some break time (like leave out the weekends or something) and continue using your pheros, and they'll work great. Erk, did that make sense?

 

But if I had a choice to use something more often mine would be LAM (it's nice, light, happy and sexy not in an overtly porn star way imho).

 

Don't be scared of copulins lol, I think cops are fun. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't work for you at the beginning, keep going until you find your sweet spot and once you do, you will love it! Cops don't smell like pee, they smell more like rotten cheese to me LOL but hey if I need to get those boys to line up for me, I'll do it! I've used cops for a year and I never had a bad reaction from men and women not even jealousy. I don't believe that cops make women jealous, to me that is more like a myth, imho if a women gets nasty to you, that is a character flaw she's just plain jealous.

 

Now you can offend people if you stink LOL so if you're planning to use pure eow try to use heavy scents like vanillas, or gourmand type of scents. But if you're only planning to use PG or LAM for now, I wouldn't worry about offending anyone lol, the cops are nicely covered.

I'll be proceeding with caution when using LAM or PG in public. I'm interested in DOM and Intellectual Women. I may try one of those next as a add-on to a perfume. Esmerelda, I'll try not to be scared of cops! I suppose we'll see what happens when they get here. I'm just glad I got phero perfumes and not pure pheros cause I don't think I could handle it first time up to bat! I understand what you mean about people getting used to the effect of pheros if you use them regularly. Since I'm a rookie and I have a small (and apparently, purely sexual collection) of pheros, I'll start off small until I get better at this. Thanks to everyone for the welcome!
