Rosebud
I take about 8-9 scpits a day.So I wannted to know if thet has any effect on us or if it depend on the meds or what? What is it that you take? Birthcontrol will significantly decrease your natural copulin production so if you've been on BC's for a long time then you'd likely need more cops. Other phero's on the other hand I don't think are affected. Phero's aren't hormones and phero's don't affect your natural hormone levels, but if you have low hormone levels (clinically low as in an actual deficiency or medical condition - and this is rare) then you might have a lower natural production depending on which hormone you are deficient in. Ivy715
I am ever so slightly hypothyroid. Would that affect anything phermone related? Lately I haven't been taking my medication because it honestly never changes my levels very much and because it makes me sick to take with my ADD medication that I have just started in the last few months. I take thyroid medication due to having my thyroid removed when I was 16 Cancer) It took the DR. forever to find the right dosage for my meds.Have you talked to your dr about the situation? well best of luk hugs to you. Rosebud
What do you mean when you say you "get sick" when you take both your Thyroxine & ADD meds? What type of sick? What do you take for the ADD? There's no reason why you shouldn't be able to take both. To be honest I'd go back to your Doc & chat to him/her. If you are hypo you need your Thyroxine, not just for your metabolism but other important processes...including brain function.
