May
I can't find a review for this. The ladies were kind enough to include it as a sample so I thought I would try it. In the vial and when first applied - this is a really pretty "pink" perfume. But my does very, very horrible things to this. So I am using the cotton wool ball and bra technique here. (Yes, this means I am having to stick my head down into my cleavage in-between sentences, but try not to let that mental image traumatise you too much!) It's quite soft, there is a touch of bubblegumishness - but it's not hubba-bubba in a bottle, it's there but it is soft. I also get a hint of something raspberry - which is lovely. This is very feminine, it's in the same kind of family as Pink Sugar and Love Potion Pink but I would say it is a bit smoother and more rounded than Pink Sugar. Flirty, prettily sexy and vivacious. Sugarspice
It's got a Asian influence. Smells like Carefree gum. As if I were chewing and blowing this gum in an animae poster shop. This smell is great for the twenty year olds who still collect Hello Kitty toys. Pretty fun and youthful smell.

It was only a couple of quid on ebay and as it was white I thought it would be ironic and fun for my holiday, and if the sand and sun wrecks it - at that price it would not be too awful... . Potion Master
LOL! My favorite was Little Twin Stars. I bought tons of blank journals with them on it to write songs in. I can't find them anymore tho!
gaia
Oh I love chococat so much!!(as if my avatar didn't give it away ) (actually my black kitty, Dora, reminds me of chococat.....she'll have that same blank stare sometimes.....it's really cute) I've tried Bubblegum Robot too as a matter of fact (to stay on topic and all) and I liked it more than I thought I would.....it's not as cloyingly sweet as I expected. Fruity and yes bubblegummy, I think my 7 year-old son would love it! (he's very much into perfumes, like his mama.....if he doesn't have anything on he'll be like "I don't smell good yet!! You need to 'potion' me, mam!" He has his own marshmallow 'potion' and since about a week he also has a bottle of strawberry 'potion' (that's what he calls his smellies: potions). We layered the two this morning and it smelled like cookies! So I think he'll enjoy his Bubblegum Robot scent as well......it's the best bubblegummy perfume I've smelled in ages........ May
I don't think I quite "get it" with all these characters. All I ever see is the image and the accessories merch - including for Hello Kitty. Is there a cartoon series or series of comic books or what? I can see they are cute images and some, ie Hello Kitty, have almost become iconic images - which is proven by the fact I recognise it without understanding what it is about. But is there an original vehicle behind this? I am confuzzled.... (and I seem to be pulling that face a lot lately...) May

CBS had a show in the US called Hello Kitty and Friends in the really early 90's, although I don't think that many episodes actually aired. I guess she's more popular on stationary and other stuff, then on tv! I think I even remember seeing her on a credit card once; I work retail. I don't really know much about Chococat though. I hope this helps a little!

Potion Master
You're ultimately right of course, but the appeal was that they were the FIRST, and the images they released inspired us to IMAGINE the story behind them. They released lots of beautiful quality hard-cover affordable, blank journals with pictures on every page - I loved those. Today, it just looks like stupid rootless, commercialism. And it IS in the case of the imitators, such as that idiotic faux-Goth rip-off of Lenore that is in every mall store..is it named Emily? Yilch. scourger
..is it named Emily? Yilch. Ahem. Emily Strange happens to be a goth, skateboarder chick with satanic cats. She has comics and even a book about her. She are serious role model. Bwahaha. Okay, I couldn't keep a straight face.

Curiouschic
I am looking into buying this one and I was wondering if those ladies who own this perfume could tell me if it is really floralish or if it is more of a sweet fruit or just yummy scent? Thanks!
luna65
LOL! My favorite was Little Twin Stars. Get the heck out, me too! I succumbed to Sanrio insanity in high school (there was a Sanrio store at the local mall) and I had notebooks, all the cutesy pens and pencils in my pencil case, a little tote bag thingie and a purse...oh, all kinds of stuff! Really though, my very favorite thing was my Hello Kitty stamp: HK in a teacup with my name across the side of it. It was sooooo kawaii.

I gifted all of my bandmates with blank books from the Sanrio store, that we used to call, "Hit Song Writing Books". Everything one wrote into them was blessed, in a way. Purple ink pens were especially magical.

knjsavy
This was a soft light pink, white florals smell. The gum scent quickly receded to the background and took the others with it - my skin drank it in and in ten minutes i could pick up nothing - shame as i really liked this scent Update: later at the beauty parlor under the dryer - it came back - yay! I was enveloped in a nice fluffy pink cloud - i will have to get more samples of this Edited January 2, 2009 by knjsavy
JOC
This turns out to be a sweet and soft pink scent. Perhaps the younger and innocent sister of LP Pink (incidentally I wore LP Pink to work today). Update: Wore it to work today. I'm starting to like this even more and will have to take it off my trade list. It's so light that I slathered after I got into my office this morning (or maybe I like it so much that I'm slathering).
