Glistening Buttons

This is an amazingly delicious rich chocolate scent, the other notes blend in well. Unfortunately, Leather has too much a-nol for me, so I'll have to hope the supply of unscented bottles isn't too small.

On me, the first *tiny* peep of a note is almost like cherry, sweet and high...but then it plunges into the DEEPEST, DARKEST bitter chocolate ever. I realize after a bit more huffing it's the combination of honey and chocolate that makes it seem so. After a time the almond/amber (they go so well together!) come out of the background. On my skin I'm not sure how much cream or spice is projecting but 'tis altogether DAYUM!! This is another that would beg accompanying body products, cuz you don't want the nom to go away!

High concept: if Deliciously Wicked and Shelly's B-Gasm had a baby.

When I first put some on (I bought a "virgin" bottle), in the dark, my immediate thought was, "Oh my gods this is Deliciously Wicked!" It's not exact but it does do a better job of recreating that vibe than my Epic Trilogy base (honey/skin musk/cocoa absolute), and that was the standard I was trying to attain (it does kind of happen with Burnished Cacao, but not quite). Truly, anyone who's a rabid fan of DW like I am, you need to get this.

But it's totally that sexy gourmand evocation, although a bit sweeter - I would say - than an SLF would be. Not quite smutty but sexy. You could wear this in public and likely not cause a scandal although you would certainly receive appreciative glances. The chocolate and almond is a killer combo and all the other elements are in service to that, the spice comes out a little dusty on me but it's not that prevalent, thankfully. The amber and musk bring it down to skin scent level fairly quickly and hours later I still get a nice warm chocolate-covered glow...I'm sure Quince is going to happily snorf me for hours (snort + sniff = snorf) when I wear this for him and so thank you all: Shelly, Sean and Mara!

Word!

I'm wearing a bit of this today and I walked past a couple having coffee. The guy kept looking past his coffee date to check me out. He did this a few times I noticed, before she finally turned around to see what he was looking at.

I feel like this month's new releases are majorly sexy and really amping up my sex appeal for some reason.

So weird too because I only slept about 3 hours and feel like the Titanic fully restored in water.

I got this UN. Yup Luna, if I didn't know, I'd have thought this was deliciously wicked, tho on me so far it's a bit dirtier. It IS quite smutty on me. :D still drying but I greatly look forward to torturing people with this+unCB.

I really can't top Luna's outstanding review - so I won't try.

Here is what I get on me - almond, honey, deepest darkest bitter chocolate underpinned by amber and skin musk. It's not overpowering...it's a close to the skin, come get me studmuffin scent.

I smell the cops - more before drydown - some after - but I like them so I'm not in the least bothered by that.

Between the Leather and the Cops - it gives me one seriously sassy swing to my hips and attitude.

All in all - this is everything I hoped it would be. Dead sexy. And I can not keep from wanting to lick my wrist. So - success. And the man liked it despite the fact he normally doesn't do gourmands. I think it's because he likes dark chocolate...

To Dream Lover? No.

Regal Confection = uber chocolate amber

Dream Lover = delicious creamy chocolate with a touch of orange.

But yes, for anyone who loves chocolate scents and/or sexy gourmands...Glistening Buttons is a must have!

Right! I always ask Q to bring me one of those from Blighty but he forgets. At least he doesn't forget my Violet Crumble! :666:

Dark chocolate, caramel, musk, amber, almond .... what a great combination! I can't stop sniffing my arm. After a few minutes, I cannot detect the cops at all. I'm just thinking about the phero blend because I did not wear leather before. Does it contain much androstenon? May be I should consider a 'phero-free' bottle.

Not much at all really. Remember, Leather is Dominance cut by 50% with Estratetraenol. So it's actually quite feminine, with a touch of "persuasiveness" added in.

Nuuuuuuu. I have to try to be good (you guys make it so hard!) and resist the urge to make an order every week. (Sorry Mara!) I was telling a friend about my fragrance obsession and she let me try a scent with a chocolate in it. I'm kicking myself now for not adding more variety in my last order. Glistening Buttons has made it's way to the top of the list for the next one, maybe dream lover too...

I only tested a teeny dot of this as I wasn't sure what phero was in it, but it was really reminded me of another blend, which I can't remember, not Dream Lover for sure. I liked it though. I think perhaps it had something in common to my nose with Haloes Angelique although they are not the same. Wow helpful review huh.

In the spirit of being more helpful, I'm happy to mail out chocolate oranges from 'blighty' lol, ooh and for that matter I have Dream Lover if anyone wants to swap with me. I'll come back and update when i can make more sense!

Is this similar to Deliciously wicked? What's the difference between the two???

I believe I already stated it was simliar in my review. The primary difference to me is in the musk: the musk is stronger in DW whereas the gourmand elements are stronger in GB, and it has a bit of spice and almond which DW does not.

Hmm Deliciously Wicked is all honey on me. Weird. I'm hoping this isn't because I ordered a bottle unsniffed.

Oh. I have access to those chocolate oranges should anyone want me to hook them up. (I prefer the chocolate mint ones myself.) I can totally be the Cadbury chocolate pimp.

I have to say that this is Shelly's absolute BEST SLF gourmand concotion to date. :019-[Drooling]-[EmoticonKing.co It's heavier on the foody stuff than the musks, which I love, and the salty caramel note keeps it from getting too sweet and balances out all the honey/chocolate/cream perfectly. When it dries down something that seems like Egyptian musk comes out with a soft amber, giving it a good dose of sensuality. I'm going to wear this for the smell alone even if I'm not seeing the boy that day, it's that good.
