Warm greetings to all the beautiful people!

I’m Nefertiti (Nef) from New York City.

After purchasing Love Potion #9 and RED off of Amazon.com last week, I did some surfing and was fortunate enough to have washed up here.

I spent hours upon hours reading forum posts for a couple of evenings, officially registering yesterday.

The knowhow acquired by some of you ladies is downright fascinating, and the willingness to share the wealth, as it were, is very much appreciated.

Sooooo totally thrilled to be amongst such a learned group of individuals!

I look forward to spending many more hours reading, and posting. And the purchasing…Well, that goes without saying!

Peace, Love, Empathy,

¡Nef!

A warm welcome to you and enjoy your journey, Nef!

Gee, I’ve managed to make a mess of my response to Ravenwing. This is me trying at not having that happen again.

Thanks for taking the time to welcome me! It’s all about the journey and thus far, this is an informative and fun one!

Hola, Nef!

Bienvenida, welcome!

You'll notice the LP addiction gets more intense every month with the new releases...so enjoy!

Feel free to ask anything, and let me tell you I was also a lurker in my LP beginnings and still continue to lurk and learn, lurk and learn...

So happy to have you here!

¡ Hola, y gracias por la bienvenida! – Hello, and thank you for the welcome!

Addiction is correct! I had to *pull* myself away yesterday to go in search of this year’s winter coat. Let me tell you that that’s a huge accomplishment for I am an avid garment shopper.

I’m so very happy to be here! Fragrance has always had a place in my life, but this business of Pheromones/Copulins is intriguing. I can hardly wait to be wise enough to make them work for me.

See you on the boards!

Silly question .... how do you type the sign before your name?

No such thing as a silly question in my book. Silly are those who choose not to ask them.

On a Mac, use the following: Option + e, a = á; Option + e, e = é; etc. Option + n, n = ñ. Option + Shift + ? = ¿. Option + ! = ¡.

The Key combinations for an English keyboard that should be used in order to provide the correct Spanish accent are below.
Make sure the Num Lock on the keypad at the right of your keyboard is on. Hold down the ALT key while at the same time typing the following numbers on the keypad.

The character will appear when you release your hold on the ALT and finish typing the numbers.

ALT 160 = á

ALT 161 = í

ALT 162 = ó

ALT 163 = ú

ALT 164 = ñ

ALT 168 = ¿

ALT 130 = é

ALT 173 = ¡

ALT 129 = ü

Hope that helps!

Nef, are you fluent in Spanish?

I hadn't noticed "la vida ama esos que aman la vida"....nice quote!

Yeiiii, Spanish is also my first language...

My English is far from perfect but I try to practice my writing in the forum...Sometimes it sucks that I can't find a word that accurately describes what I'm thinking in Spanish, but it is a challenge and to be honest most of the "slang" its what's difficult to me...like "badass, is da shit, is da bomb..." I was like, que pasa con este ingles? Jajaja..

Mi e-mail esta en mi perfil, cuando gustes escribeme si tienes alguna duda sobre las feromonas...Solo llevo 6 meses aqui en LP pero estoy encantada, asi que en lo que pueda ayudarte ya sabes, Nef... :Emoticons0424:

Soy Dominicana y Italiana. – I am Dominican and Italian.

I was born in these United States but spent my first 5 years of life in DR/Italy/Europe. My parents felt that full on exposure to cultural makeup was vital and what better time then during my formative years?

When I was of school age, and they were ready for another child, we settled down in New York City. This has been my official home ever since.

I’ve always shown a propensity for languages. So for me, it’s never been much of an effort. I like that you try. You’re already good but, as I’m sure you know, the more practice, the better you’ll be. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome to the boards. What do ya think you'll pick first?

thanks for the welcome!

Just a few minutes ago, I received an E-mail from Amazon, telling me that my order of Love Potion #9 and RED have shipped!

#9 is a throw back to my early teen years. A teachers assistant took a shine to me and gave me what I think was the oil version. I’ve lived with the memory since.

Not so much the scent, you understand, but the feelings it brought about. I felt so pretty, so flirty. Not exactly sure why it took me 13 years to look it up…

RED was a purely impulsive purchase.

In browsing the Love Potion offerings on Amazon, I found that only RED had any reviews. I checked them out and liking what I read, decided to go for it. I’m really hoping that I enjoy it as much as the ladies who reviewed it did/do.

Do you have any favorites?

I know LP #9 was developed a long time ago, but I didn't know it had been for sale that far back, wow!
