StacyK
Ohh my Gawd...I love this! On wet this smells EXactly like described. The honey is sexy but NOT dirty. The vanilla, amber and musk were added with a light hand. The cocoa powder is up front with the honey. It's chocolate, powdered sexy goodness. As is dries down the honey becomes softer ( it was never harsh) and I keep huffing my arm because I smell so damn good. Putting it to the test in about 30 min heh heh. This is really very Soft & Sexy. Another one FTW!

This was a hit last night too ! it's super sexy on its own & makes me I have been thinking what phero if any, could go with this. It would have to be something which requires very little cover. missdarlyncherie
Wow!! I can't believe I love this! This was not a scent on my radar from the descript. It must be because the honey is not dirty and the cocoa is dusty and powdery. I haven't had it on very long at all so I will see what happens but right now it is smooth and sexy. This might shockingly be my favorite! Well, I don't want to jump the gun here, I still have more testing to do but I am in love with Coco Honey right now. I am going to have to go back and read Lunas story on this one again!!! eta: I kind of think Leather might be good with this one! katz
Also a big winner for my love, and I. He got the powdery cocoa quickly, it took me a bit to get those notes. The honey is semi-innocent, pairing beautifully w/the cocoa. The constant sniffing of my arm tell me he'll be asking for this one a lot!
goddesslynne
Beautiful!! On the FB list for sure!! This has a brightness that I love. THIS is my kind of honey! Not dirty or smutty, just clean and bright.
missdarlyncherie
Yes, it is official this is my favorite of the month. When I wear it to bed there are still traces of it in the morning. In the description it says Spring Honey, that is the one I like. Glad I got the sampler because I know I would never have tried this on my own! Maroon
Well, you've done it, ladies, the way you raved about it, I just had to order it. Good thing I still had some money on my paypal account from those extra high heels I sent back because they were the wrong shade of pink... So I'll get to try Cocoa Honey and Cuchi Head. I've had a fantastic time with pretty much every scent I ordered so far, I'm sure those two will be a hit, too.
LadyVictoria
I can't even talk about this without drooling. I absolutely love this one! It's like white chocolate or not, smooth satin cocoa.. musk. oOH! I know what it is. It's Swiss Miss! Swiss Miss hot chocolate on my skin!!! OMG I kept sniffing my arm at the tire place last night. I think the tire man thought I was a coke addict or something because I was sniffing in a line on my arm where I slathered this.
luna65
Surprisingly, on my skin this is like OCCO SLF (without the cops, of course) meets Dream Lover. The cocoa powder is yummy and soft but even though the honey is not inherently dirty, the amber and the musk have shanghai'ed it into a slutty triad which films their escapades for PornTube. The chocolate is franticaly attempting restraint but they're having none of that, thank you. I'm almost too much for myself at this point, and we all know what a pervert I am. from A Taste of Deadly Honey: an Agent Null adventure by Julian Lune The aluminum boat moved along slowly through the bayou, guided by a small outboard motor and Coco's unerring sense of direction. The landscape was rendered in tangles of green and deep brackish water. The heat had weight, Null felt slightly smothered as he viewed the sky and its masses of clouds gathering, some darker than others, and the difference in scent between air and water was becoming difficult to discern. Coco sniffed loudly. "Thunderstorm coming, that will help our recon, we won't smell so much." "How can you smell anything over this?" Null asked, toeing the alligator carcass they were using as part of their cover. "I thought the stuff you made me rub all over myself was supposed to help with that." "Naw baby, that was just for the skeeters!" She steered right at a bend in the river and the boat moved further into the canopy of green, the sun swallowed by the trees. "Smell so much for what?" he asked as the sound changed from a more echo-y open noise of water and the buzz of the engine to a frog-filled trilling. "The vines, of course. They can smell humans at far distances, that's one of the reasons they were bred in the first place, for military application." A weatherbeaten wooden dock appeared out of the dense gloom and Coco pulled up to it, Null taking the rudder as she secured the boat to one of its pillars. "Okay now, baby, just like we planned. If they come atcha, ya gotta hit 'em with the acid pellets, but don't waste it on one tendril, go for the main growth." She sniffed again. "Aww yeah, they out there alright." "What do you smell?" "They smell like grape Nehi pop." Null blinked. "Really? How odd." Coco dropped her persona for a moment. "No, it's genius, actually. They receive a high rate of pollination because of their enticing scent." As they climbed onto the dock and approached a large seemingly abandoned house - in much the same condition as the dock - Null pulled his colleague close for a moment and ran his nose along her damp burnished skin. "Oh I believe I am familiar with that concept, Agent Honey." Coco kissed him quick with luscious lips and winked. "You can't charm this kudzu, honeychile, so you best listen to Miss Coco, y'hear?" Null nodded. "Yes ma'am," he said, and they moved forward to the house, weapons at the ready.
cheeseburger79
Luna,I LOVE that your adding onto these stories, I want the book!! BlueBear
I sniffed this in the vial first, since I know how cocoa and honey can do on my skin. I was a bit scared. The sex oozed out the vial the second i got the top off. On my skin, however, it was just thick, rich honey and cocoa powder. It quickly settled into a smooth, close to the skin scent. I'm not getting much vanilla, and it's not a very sweet scent. And it's not a foody scent on my skin, despite the notes. It's actually working quite well for me!! But i gotta keep an eye on that amber and musk. They keep threatening to take this in the wrong direction. Thumbs up!
cheeseburger79
The Ruins!!!! I looooove that book!!!! The film version is actually pretty good too. I haven't done a real full test of this yet, just a swipe. I can tell its not the chocolate-of-death on me, but so far thats it. Will report back with more soon. luna65
Oh see I hated the movie version, I couldn't understand why Scott Smith didn't fight harder for not butchering his novel so badly for the script. But yeah that's my little nod to one of my favorite horrors, as tyvey pointed out, heh. But thanks; it's so much fun to write these and I'm glad everyone is enjoying them. The sex oozed out the vial the second i got the top off. For me, it was nice and demure in the bottle but as soon as it hit my skin it was all *cue porn music.*

LadyVictoria
I love this! What I really love though is how the story and label totally goes with the scent. When I smelled this on my skin, I remember smelling Null's description of how she tasted to him. I think this might be my favorite. I am LITERALLY ( lol ) blown away on how everything from the story, label, and scent is EXACTLY what I pictured in my head and nose. Luna I think this was my favorite month ever, because of your stories, you did an amazing job of capturing the scent in your stories. Look if you got me to read on vacation in the dark hiding from everyone else- then you deserve an award - either that or I'm an addict.. okay maybe both lol. Invidiana
Cocoa honey musk. I mean, there was no way this could be a miss for me. It reminds me a bit of Chocolate Musk but more complex with the honey and amber. The cocoa gives it this dusky, mysterious feel. It is, like Katz said, a powdery cocoa in the best possible way. The honey sweetens it just enough, but not overkill. Love.
missdarlyncherie
so...am I the only one who gets Glistening Buttons out of this? ...heh Glistening Buttons did not work on me for some reason but I think somewhere in my brain it was triggered when I smelled this because I thought Leather! (wasn't GB boosted with Leather?) I thought it was the honey in GB that didn't work on me but it sure works for me in Coco Honey!!! I was thinking about Coco Honey all day at work today. hearts
Still on the fence... Cocoa and honey are both hit and miss on me. I was a bit weary to try this to begin with. The cocoa powder is going a bit dusty on my skin... I only did a small swatch and will have to test in a few more days...
Maroon
This makes me smell like I spilled cocoa powder all over me. Nice and warm smell. I'll take it for a test drive with some BI today. I get mostly the cocoa, and it has good staying powder. I can still smell it on my wrists in the morning from wearing it the day before. Let's see what BI will do to that innocent cocoa puff. Hehe. SpriteLeigh
For me, it was nice and demure in the bottle but as soon as it hit my skin it was all *cue porn music.* Oh, Coco Honey! You are a naughy, naughty girl! I'm getting the same results, in the vial I can smell the cocoa, but on my skin, the amber and honey are shoving the cocoa powder out of the way so that they can get down and dirty! *Bow chukka wow wow!*

PhoenixOnFyre
As soon as I tried LP Gold, I had to put this one on to compare and contrast. I like them both, but this is just a simpler version of LP Gold. The cocoa in this also blends a little better. It makes it so after drydown, I cannot distinguish between the two notes. They have just melded into each other nicely.

PhoenixOnFyre
No, you're right. I said it was a simpler version. LP Gold is much more complex with much more notes than just cocoa and honey. Plus these two types blend a little nicer so I can't pick out on or the other after drydown.
StacyK
I love both this and LP Gold is a hoarded fav of mine. They both have a VERY warm, sensual/sexy feel to me. I don't think they smell similar tho. On me, the Cocoa Honey is all dark chocolate cocoa powder and a sheer sexy shimmering, golden honey. LP Gold's cocoa butter is all deep Cocoa Butter goodness (almost like real traditional, early 1980s, cocoa butter, like the quality kind you'd use after the beach.) with just a smudge of honey that blends into the vanilla rich base and lends its feel but not a lot of its scent. The citrus gives it more warm shine and extra sparkle. A touch more glamour that the Cocoa Honey IMO. Like Halo said, LP Gold's base contains patchouli, That may be where your getting the Dark cho from. Skin chemistry is very interesting, you'll find that a lot here. tyvey
The coco in this is fascinating - it smells hot dry and dusty, as though mlik chocolate cocoa powder has been thrown on a fire. It's BRIGHT somehow! This remind me most of Pouncing Potion, but drier. ETA SO WEIRD as this is drying down it is becoming very floral. I keep catching whiffs of a faint delicate mild mannered white flower. must be the type(s) of vanilla /?? Edited August 5, 2013 by tyvey
