I think from what I could see of the profile pic on my phone and something in your post made me think of my cousin. He's gay.
Anyway, I don't know if I'm going from bad to worse here but it was just a fluke. Just a combo of something that struck me a specific way and perhaps something already on my mind.
I did like your description of DOP. I love it too.

I ordered a few trial sizes of the the scents I found most interesting by their description. I really liked the way the LAM Buttercream Peach sounded so I ordered a trial size. Should have gone for the full bottle!
Back in the early 90's I had a perfume I wore everyday, it smelled like this (only this one is better). When my bottles ran out in around 2005 or 2006 (yes, I said bottleS cuz you know I hoarded) I went to my nearest fragrance store and they didn't carry it. It turns out that the company discontinued it. I wore black for a year. Yes I did.
So when I got a chance to sniff this, and wear it, and huff it and well you know how it goes.... I found my joy. I started reading the review and realize that this has been around for nearly two years! How did I not know?
Please Mara don't discontinue this one!!!! At least not until I've had the chance to buy a couple or 20 bottles
I don't know what I'm gonna do! I ordered 5, maybe 6 trial sizes of different sniffies and I love nearly all of them. I say nearly because I haven't gotten to all of them. Oh dear Lord, what if I love ALL of them!? I'm gonna need another job.

I ordered a few trial sizes of the the scents I found most interesting by their description. FLUTTERBY was one of them and the first one I tried. First off, I love love love musks, sugars and vanilla-type scents especially with orchid notes. Now, I know the description doesn't actually SAY orchid; But I smell an orchid-like note, it could be the lotus or magnolia. It gives it a nice, soft, oriental vibe.
I really like it alot!!!

I get mistaken for a guy all the time online (never in this comm, but probably in nearly every other I've been a member of over the years) so yes, people do make assumptions strictly on the basis of one's writing.

I ordered some trial sizes of most of the perfumes I found interesting and this was one of them. I really liked this one immediately. From wet to dry-down it is beautiful. Very clean and light. I'm going to want an oil and a spray of this one. It makes me happy to wear it. Love love love.

... I had to laugh when I read ur comment. The truth is IRL I tend to give off a "tomboy" vibe. I like to use -est and cops as a way to feminize my phero signature. Otherwise I could be perceived (by some men) as a "buddy" rather than a conquest. I never thought that the masculine energy would come through on a post! LOL! -

I ordered some trial sizes of the perfumes that sounded the most interesting to me and Dance of Passion was in the bunch.
I love it soooo much! I should have trusted my instincts and ordered a full bottle or 5. Wet on my skin, I wasn't sure I was going to like it. But when it dried a bit, it was all light and sugary sweet and musky. The honey and orchid nicely rounded it out and did not overpower. I am still huffing on my wrist. Yep still delicious. This goes so well with my own chemistry. It makes me happy. Thank you Mara.

I'm a LAM girl. I think I have an allergy to beta-nol. I tend to become very emotional whenever I have it on. Cry cry cry. So I stay away unless I'm trying to find out info. The stuff is a very subtle truth serum. I tend to find out all sorts of stuff. So that would be another reason I don't wear it. Cuz some things are better left "unknown".

I received my EP (spray and oil) yesterday. I was not at all disappointed with it. I did good!
If I had to say what the smell was like, I would say it was a bit incensey, more specifically like Nag Champa (my favorite) but better. I love it! I'll have to see how it affects my surroundings so I'll have to repost at a later date. Deepest gratitude to you all.-Lyric

I really like scented Cuddle Bunny. It has a fresh, clean scent and smells almost, but not quite, like (and don't make fun of me about this) Avon Night Magic which has a powdery, white musk base to it. In short, it doesn't smell smutty. It smells innocent. Love Love.

Hello Everyone! It's been a while since I last posted. Glad to see the gang's all here!!!
I just wanted to write a few words about this new scent. First, I love it!!!
I received Girly Twirly last week. Just in time to pick up my ex [but still love of my life] from the airport after a weekend visiting his best friend (whose interference, by the way, is one of the reasons why I moved out of our house). I slathered on the stuff on my chest, neck and all over my hair. He greeted me with a quick hug and kiss on the cheek. As we were walking through the airport on the way to the carpark he started looking at me and complimented my hair. He then stopped walking, hugged me, and then kissed my lips. Okay - much betta! In the car, he kept turning to look at me, even though he was driving on a busy highway. Long story short, he ended up spending the next three nights at my house where I received the best cuddles and wubby wuv in a while. I should add that while he was staying with me he took my car to be diagnosed [check engine light blinking], straightened out my storage unit for me, helped my mom out with some errands and changed the oil in my car.
Girly Twirly was a really good match for me scent-wise. Very bright and happy scent. I smelled cherry ALOT when I first put it on, then on dry-down I got the melons with the soft amber finish. I love it and will be purchasing the spray version soon.
Well, that's all I have to say about that!

Lyric, your order is in the queue and right on schedule. You ordered a special item (not straight off the rack) that needs to be created especially for you. While many times it's faster, our posted turn around time is two weeks from order to delivery at your door, and for items made special just for the customer, it can be up to 3 weeks. Your item should be in the mail to you within the next 2 days, and to your door within our posted turn around time. Ok?

I just received my Private Collection SS4W Rocket Fuel !!!!
Initial application (Wet): Fresh Strawberries at first, and then a Cream scent, very sweet.
Drydown: the fruit scent dries down to a sweet musk with strawberries and I also get a whiff of something like a resin.
dry: strong strawberry, hint of cream, and hint of powder.
dry after a few hours: sweet powdery strawberry.
PHERO REACTIONS: I felt very good wearing this. I was in a funk, just had an argument with a close friend. However, after applying I noticed that I felt a lot better, very light. I am liking this very much.
Went to a Holiday party, nice reaction from a male co-worker that is usually not the cuddly type. He was very huggy with me. Not usual, but it also might have been the wine.
There was lots of that going around. I will have more to report when I can be in a more controlled environment. My SO is coming to see me next week. By then, I'll have more fuel to my arsenal (placed more orders) and it should be very interesting.Conclusion: I get plenty of compliments wearing this scent. I'm still trying to get used to it. I'm not used to wearing this much strawberry. My skin must be amplifying this particular scent. I've put this scent on my friend and it doesn't smell the same on her. I like it on her better. However, I think I'm getting used to it and its starting to grown on me. Let's see.

Hello, my name is Lyric and I am an LP addict.
I have come to this site time and again. I admit to plenty of lurking. I have finally put in my first three, yes three, orders. You see, I actually started out with one, and then I just couldn't help myself I kept find more things I wanted to try so I just kept ordering. Yes, I can't help myself and I don't want to stop! Now I'm anxiously waiting for my email telling me that they are being shipped. I can't sleep. I can't eat. I'm in agony.
