Oh, okay, I guess that I'm not the only one who is ready to attack my letter carrier. I got my shipping shortly message early this month, but nothing after that. I'm not worried now that I see that I'm in good company. I will just continue to twitch.

I ordered a bottle of this when it was first released and I was so excited because I had been wanting a pure sugar note. That is what I get from Sugared Pure - pure white sugar. I love it alone, but I love layering it with anything that needs just a bit of sweeting up.

I love how this has aged. I ordered a bottle when it was first released and it smelled like sweet autumn leaves with with a sweet vanilla marshmallow note. I didn't get much of the smoke at all and that's what I was really looking for. Now, months later, the notes have matured and become more balanced and the smoke has gotten much more noticeable. It is so beautiful that I have been wearing it even though it doesn't really fit with the season. This is a scent that has really come into its own. =)

I think that I had looked at Marley's Ghost when it first came out and was slightly interested, but I never did order it. I love sweet pipe tobacco notes and this has one of the most perfect sweet tobacco notes that I have come across. The walnut note is a bit strong and somewhat herbal at first, but it tames down and the whole thing is so beautiful in the end. I put on the teeniest drop on my wrist and I can just smell it wafting around and I am so pleased.
I collect perfumes that have the same names as my present and departed animal friends, so I was going to get Marley's Ghost whether the notes appealed to me or not. To find a perfume with the same name as one of my beloved departed cats and to find a scent that is just as special is just a gift.
