  1. Birkey: I usually just count 2 weeks out from the date of last order for delivery and subtract 3/4 days from that for shipping notice. They have a wonderful shipping/customer service dept.

Re: LP White. While I enjoy Gypsum White/Lace, I'm still in love with XAppeal, therefore LP White couldn't lure me away, lol. Very nice, but something reminded me of Hawaian White Ginger fragrance from days of yore. I need to do a review, or maybe I will have my daughter jot down her "take" on it for me. It's quite lovely on her and I still have a little trial vial of it, plus I know where she stashes her stuff, he. She's a hoot. Pretends like she's not interested when I'm opening my box and then usually hones right in on one when the fragrance floats her way. My clients are also getting spoiled because I let them choose a little sniffie after their readings/consultations (along with giving them LPMP info).

I'm kewl with sharing things with her, except when she's left the house before I'm up and then when I get dressed and dashing out the door, looking for my shoes, she's snagged them and/or my car. It's always musical cars/trucks/creative parking at our house.

Bet you're enjoying your goodies soon. :OUDFDC~110:

  2. Welcome Hinzmanel and The Birkeys! I know you and I have chatted quite a bit Birkey, but don't think I ever said Welcome, lol!

Loves Truck: I know what ya mean about re-finding threads....BTW, you do nice work re: the graphic for your new truck Avi. I also see (from your profile) that you, too, are also into astrology. Wonderful! :moon452:

  3. Birkeys: No worries...I'm still trying to learn how to do the whole quote/multi quote button thing. Glad you got some of the La Sylphide. I have tried LFN (in Unbridled ), but haven't tried LFM. I got the Tobacco Berry because I think it will layer nicely with some of the fragrances. Did you get your shipping notice/and or order yet? Let me know how you like the LP White.....I wasn't as nutz over it as I thought I would be....My daughter snagged it tho, lol! Still loving the X Appeal. :nice09715:

  4. Coming up Roses: I echo the other ladies. I am a relative newbie with only a few months exp with pheros. While I have great fun layering LP fragrances, I have not done that with the pheros much except for trying Sneaky Clean/SS4W layered over Cuddle Bunny to achieve a makeshift kind of like BANG phero, That was only because I didn't have any of the EST or OCCO line yet, and wanted to add Cops/Est ( which CB has) to SC, which does not. I had been studying the ingredient list for each phero, had read about others here trying that combo and having good luck with it. It works, but I still plan on getting BANG as well as some more of the other UN pheros, because, like Mara and the rest have said the scientists have already figured out the ratios/measurements/effects which eliminates most of the guesswork except for choosing what phero to use and then mixing/matching/layering LP fragrance(s) over it and then tweaking it all to find your sweet spot.

Sometimes I will sniff coffee grounds to clear my nose if I've been trying on a lot of different fragrances, and if I'm switching to another phero blend then I sometimes scrub hands/arms with coffee ground soap, shower and start all over again. I usually drink a lot of water when I'm using pheros as well.

I'm only at the stage where I'm experimenting with layering OCCOS (Cops) and presently thinking about taking baby steps with the LAM/BAM line. It's been quite a journey so far and I'm so happy to know that the ladies are here to help each step of the way as we learn more together. :perfume:

  5. Yeah! Thanks, Coming Up Roses and Birkeys! I went over to ArtFire and got a bottle of La Sylphide and one of Tobacco Berry.

I also tried to do the multiquote thing to reply to your posts, but apparently I didn't do it right, cuz I don't see them on my post....oh well,

  6. Hey, Thanks, Rose! With such a great concentration of musicians that have been around this area for such a long time who have played/toured in each other's bands, there's always someone pretty awesome playing especially with the casinos and some great theatres nearby. If you get back to Boston, try checking out The Tarbox Ramblers. They play in the Cambridge area a lot. You might like them. Michael Tarbox is an incredibly talented songwriter and they did some of the music for the T.V. show Sons of Anarchy.

StacyK: I have been looking for Audacious for a while now over at the Trading Post, lol.....Thought it sounded up my alley, he he.

  7. StacyK: Thanks! I must add The Dom to my list then because I have to work at staying on task when it comes to the house. I manage to get it done, but would much rather allow myself to get sidetracked/ lost in my work/books/studies, or outside when I'm not at my office. Just cleared out 30 yrs worth of stuff from the house and now we're working on the floors. I find that once I'm in gear I'm o.k., it's that initial inertia that I have to resist/get thru sometimes. I think my next order should include some more of the UNs...

  8. OMG, Coming Up Roses, your posts are like a topnote/breath of fresh air and I look forward to their uplifting tone....You are a deliteful presence and I value your input along with all the others here. It's like an alchemical mixture/process where the end result is an incredibly rich amalgam of diversity. Somehow, like a good fragrance, it all comes together in the end and works!

So, I agree with Almathea. Reading all the reviews helps in the decision making process....which, speaking of tortoises, I'm the worst when it comes to choosing LPMPS.

  9. StacyK: Yep. My husband loved it, lol!

Rose Blackthorn: You gotta try this stuff and let us know what happens!

Maroon: Sounds like a great combo. You are braver than me rocking GOTCHA over lunch....No doubt you'll get an earful from your gossipy co-worker. When I wore this it was like everyone wants to cling/talk to you at the same time....

Donsie: I'm still figuring out which does what with the Bnol/Anol aspect of pheros. I do find that Anol energizes me when it comes to dancing/exercising or whatever I need to do, and Bnol seems to lend a chatty/joking vibe.

DD: Please let us know how the Gotcha/Coconut breeze combo works over Memorial Day weekend.

  10. Coming up Roses: I am enjoying all the playfulness and fun that we can have here....The postman doesn't know what he's missing! :smiley-signs136: I hope you'll give us a review of your experience with EOW, Cougar and Lucky Dog. What is Lucky Dog like?

Black Cat & BIrkey: I hardly had the chance to roll on a few stripes of LP White when my daughter (20) swooped in and snagged it. Now she has some LP Pink and LP White. Luckily I had a trial vial of LP White as well, lol! It's lovely, but I think I'm still in love with X Appeal.

Betcha your shipping notice comes in the morning Birkey.. :greensmilies-020:.I usually get mine 3 or 4 days before my pkg.

Have fun with your stash, ladies! :potions25:

  11. Your welcome, Coming Up Roses! It was sooo much fun! A moment in time. I love how the synchronicity of the universe works (and love my husband for getting tickets). That's why I like Cougar Potion so much. It's such a great upbeat social phero and it truly does makes everything more sparkly. And you can betcha I checked after to see what was up with planetary stuff that night.

We are going to see the Rod Stewart/Santana concert next week, but that is at a much larger place, not so up close and personal, but we'll be rocking the night away....Haven't seen Rod play in a long time.

  12. I promised StacyK I'd do a review of GOTCHA once I got around to trying the vial of Tickle Tickle/Gotcha I got from BV.

Today I had been puttering around in the garden wearing Tyvee's Flora Royal soaking up the sun. Came in to clean up for dinner. Was in a mellow, relaxed mood.

Showered off and decided to take TT (with GOTCHA) for a brief, stay at home test drive with husband. Told him the Sun had made me sleepy and I was going to take a little nap, would he like to join me? He said sure. He was finishing putting some stuff away outside so I went upstairs and applied a lollipop, a swipe between clvg and swipes on wrists and arms and some at the base of throat, hollow of back. I put jeans and top on, yet within the next several minutes, every 4 legged, 2 legged and winged thing in our house including the little white pantry moths from the kitchen swarmed me, including several huge bumblebees outside the window.....Can you say VELCRO? As in cuddly Velcro. I think that term has been used before to describe the effects of GOTCHA for some.

Very nice chatty little family time ensued with our 20 and 23 yr. old and his girlfriend while dogs vied for attention. My dogs were not happy that anyone else was near me and were literally glued to my side and back. Family took off and then husband closed window and had to make doggies go lie down. Finally we had house to ourselves (but not for long as we were expecting some of them back for dinner). Let's just say he acted more like a 40 year old than his age during that short window of opportunity. No time for nap, yet that would have been sooo nice, because initially the GOTCHA effect was very relaxing, almost soporific and then once we were alone initial cuddliness became abrupt, grabby and insistant lovemaking. I don't think the word no was in his vocabulary at that moment (not that I minded). AND, considering my husband's smug, cocky attitude after I think it was debatable who GOT who. :wink2:

I would NOT wear this out unless I knew where all the exit points were in the room and was with my husband. Not implying I'm hot, just in case there are crazies in the vicinity. I am NOT kidding. It might be all sweety pie lovey at first and then it turns a sudden corner and you better make sure who's in yours before this stuff kicks in. For me this baby delivers. :UkkiBannana:

  13. Although I know this has carnation in it and doesn't have clove in it, for some reason that is what it somewhat smells like to me. I like this a lot and got it in the oil. Am now wishing I got it in a spray as I think it would also be gorgeous on bedlinen/pillowcases, room spray. Lovely.
