The singing definitely wasn't a one-off reaction. I wore it to work yesterday and the same manager burst into song and dramatics again. It was hilarious, because he is the crankiest freaking crank since crank came to cranktown. He got deliriously happy that we got a shipment of the wrong parts from China, omg lmao apparently he loves to be the bearer of bad news to certain people at the company. He stood up and threw his hands out wide and was laughing and singing about how it made his heart SOAR. Ok all of our stuff is from China so we get mistakes and general fuckedup goodness With Every Shipment! And it has never made him so happy. I was standing next to him when he realized we had gotten parts for 240V instead of 110, and it was like a kid opening a Christmas present.

 

I know...ridiculous and not the expected kinds of hits...haha.

I got a small decant of this boosted with SS4W from the amazing Phergineer and tucked it away until this morning.

WOW I love this scent! It is so juicy and ripe it made my mouth water, and the frank/patch/myrrh kept the fruitliciousness nice and well-rounded. At first it was bright strawberry and thyme, after drydown it was blackberry and patch and now at the end of the night, I'm huffing the blackberry and red currant goodness on wafting from my wrists and cleavage. Serious staying power. I can't wait to try this at work!

I'm looking forward to this one...Bast and Blue lotus are very very special to me and I'm hoping against hope this will be the LFM LP that will work for me!

My guess is (and this is just from looking at the pheromone wiki page so someone please correct me if I'm wrong) Topper has the most DHEAS (listed as first ingredient) while SS4W, LFM, and Bang! also contain decent amounts (2nd, 2nd, and 3rd ingredient, respectively).

 

 

Oh, if that's true that would explain why I get such amazing selfies with Sneaky Clean that I don't get with Flying Potion! I was wondering about that, for some reason I thought Levitation had a big dose of DHEAS but it's listed as the last ingredient.

I wore PM with LP Gold tonight on a first date. At one point while we were chatting, he looked over my shoulder at the people seated behind me and said, 'I'm going to marry this girl, mark my words, I don't know when but I'm telling you, one day, I'm going to marry her."

We kissed goodnight and he stood there trembling, he told me he felt weird and had butterflies (all in a good way), and I could tell he was absolutely smitten. I have to say, you really have the abundance thing DOWN. I've been sorting through my December sampler and sniffies, feeling that never in my life have I felt like my cup runneth over the way it does with my LP goodies THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! .

I slathered this on this morning and I WANT TO SNUZZLE AND LICK MYSELF ALL OVERRRRR! At first it was all pecan and sugar, and I was worried the pecan would take over or the cinnamon would amp but just a few minutes into it, it settled into a spicy, creamy confection. 30 minutes in and it has settled even more to a softer blend of spice and cream. I would love to get more patch and amber in this, but really I am a patch and amber HO so too much is never enough for me so it's possible I'm reeking of it and I just can't tell (I really laid it on thick, I felt like LP bombing the warehouse today). I paired it with SWS because, insane work environment. I like the idea of the blend of the sweet with the YOU WILL RESPECT ME vibes.

 

Unfortunately, this faded very quickly and down, to my nose, to a plasticky smell. I wonder what my brain is associating it with, because my co-worker said it smells like potpourri..? This is going to the the oil warmer because it smells terrific but isn't working out with my skin.

I've received a sample of LP Black when I bought my first sampler early this year. At first I felt that this scent was too dark for me. I didn't like the way the patch and brown sugar played and it felt so very heavy. I remember trying it a couple of times over the summer and maybe it was due to the tropical summers here and my inexperience with honey, but it felt too strong and sticky. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I decided to pull this out and give it some love and BAM! It hit me and BOOM, I wanted more more more. It melded with my skin and instead of feeling sticky it felt witchy and sexyyy as hell. It might have been that I was too new to honey in the beginning to handle all this rich, thick honey along with the resins but now I can't get enough of it. I love how witchy and smoldering I feel when I'm wearing this!

I slathered some of this on the other day in a lark, because I hadn't given it any love for so long. I fell in love all over again. Why haven't I been wearing this EVERY DAYYYY?? I initially thought of it as a summery scent, but this is actually amazing for our bright and sunny cold days here. The honey was even smuttier than I remember and the scent just lasts and lasts and lasts. I feel like a Queen Bee in a big, seething honeycomb. Which could be gross to some but I am a huge fan of bees so it feels alive and sexy to me. I layered this with PM this morning for a coffee date. I got stood up but I felt so freaking sexy I couldn't let it get me down. I told the guy I didn't want to hear his excuses, I want to hear how he is going to make it up to me and see some action to back up his words and I had other things to do so I wasn't going to be available to talk until tonight and no, I wasn't going to wait another 30 minutes for him to show up if you snooze you lose (literally - he overslept, haha).

This henceforth shall be known as my Queen Bee blend.

I love magnolia, and I love this scent. I mostly get the magnolia in this, which is one of my favorite scents. Magnolia, on my skin, stays and stays until it's practically sandblasted off which is fine by me. Magnolia is too summery for me to wear right now, though. Once it's summer again..oh, about mid-March (ha, I live in the south), I will give this a proper public wearing.

I bought a trial vial of this and so far am loving the selfies! I can't say I've experienced social hits, but both times I've applied this I immediately spontaneously started dancing in my room, singing and feeling happy. This goes on my "must keep a supply at all times" list.

I've been stalking Etsy and just thinking...you know what would be amazing? What I would really, really love? Some Pillow Stuffing wax melts w/Balm Bomb.

I hate peaches and the smell of peaches. BUT, if I liked peaches, I would love this. For me it is a creamy, dreamy peach, not too tart or too bright. Even though I usually can't bear the wretched stench of peaches, I could wear this without wanting to claw my eyes out. Instead of jumping out at me like HELLO I AM PEACH NOTICE ME NOW DO YOU HAVE A MIGRAINE YET? it was like...Hey...I'm Peach and these are my creamy friends, I'm just going to chill out here for a bit and groove to some delicious downtempo music for a while, wanna chill with me?

 

So I will hang on to this a bit and let it mellow and see how I feel about it in a few weeks. Because I loathe peach but Betrothal Potion is one of my favorite OMG I must saturate every pore in my body LP's, sooo...I might come to love this one as much.

I am so freaking happy the vanilla doesn't go powdery and wonky on me, this is a tie with Balm Bomb for my favorite for November. I love how this melds with my skin! It feels like..skin+. Like...my skin, just amped a bit with delicious warm goodness. It is definitely a "come closer and snuzzle me" vibe. It's actually along the lines of what I thought and hoped Sensual Harmony would smell like. I get a bit of everything in this and it all comes together perfectly. This is a great 'every day' kind of scent, I would wear this to work (industrial environment) and while hanging out at home with my roomies, it's all "comfort and easy, relaxed intimacy" which is my favorite vibe.

I like the berries in this, it reminds me a bit of Infusion which I love but the powdery bit ruins it for me and softens what, looking at the notes and name, I want and expect to be super dark and juicy.

This is very similar to To Soothe a Broken Heart, which I lovelovelove, only it is exactly as y'all are saying, even more pillowy and soft. I am so, so happy that this is a permanent collection scent now because my budget is tapped for the time being and I neeeeed an FB of this.

I can't stop huffing my wrists, this is amazing.

This smells *just* like LP White to me. All I get is the powdered sugar. I feel sad, because I felt sure the other notes would balance the sugar but I can't detect them at all. I will need to try LFM some other way.

So I gave this another chance. And, right at my skin, the marshmallow still comes across as plasticky. BUT, it's only right on my skin and I have discovered I love spraying this on my bosom and huffing it all day long. It smells incredible, all marshmallow and ylang. I adore it now and I want to smell this everywhere all of the time...So, so good.

So is the full sampler the same price as a regular month? Or is it separate men's/women's? How do do buy a full sampler?

This is my New Favorite Phero That I Never Ever Ever Never EVER want to be without. I enjoyed the hits so much with Honeyed LP w/Gotcha that I ordered a FB of UN and ...wow.

First, I let me say that I can totally smell the cops in this.

Second...let me also say I do not give a flying frickity frack because OMG THIS IS THE BEST.

I wore it last night on a looong field trip and usually I feel like I want to crawl out of my skin from social anxiety but the night just flew by and my friend and I talked and talked all night and had a great time. Usually being with any one person for more than an hour will drive me nuts so this was great.

 

Today I decided to try it out at work. At this job, my manager is a grizzled old retired rigger (think over the hill rock'n'roll roadie type) who was on the road for 25 years. Cranky as fuck. Hangs up on customers and is always bitching and moaning and complaining about everythingallofthetime.

About an hour in, he was smiling. Laughing even.

Okay seriously I shit you not THIS GUY BURST INTO SONG. Got up, and STARTED SINGING. I don't even remember what song it was, I was so shocked. I mean, imagine Godzilla or the monster in Alien suddenly stopping mid attack to sing a show tune...it was like that.

 

Which reminds me that this morning, when I came down the stairs I stopped to talk to my roomie. HE ALSO JUST STARTED SINGING OMG. Motley Crue, "Home Sweet Home". And no, this is not a guy who in nearly a year of living with have I ever heard sing. Play the piano, guitar, or a dozen other instruments yes, but just start singing? Nooo...
