  1. I don't believe I've EVER read anything from Luna that was unnecessary.

    All comments here are valuable.

We all feel free to express ourselves and contribute to the threads.

Using your logic, I expressed MY opinion and that was the end of it. According to you, we all feel free, right? So, I am entitled to state my views, just as you are and have here, without chastisement for it. I don't need you to agree with me, k? :)

  2. I'm just noting - as I have in the past - that certain scents were created to be carriers for pheromone blends. Yes, it is true that some of those scents have been offered phero-free due to the demand; but the point of this one was to create a fruit-based fragrance which could cover an OCCO-load of cops.

And my point was that your point seemed unnecessary.

  3. Or an assload of cops. Because you get some ass with this cops potions. It should say that on the bottle. Assload guaranteed.

So glad I scored on this lush yummy occo concoction

Now THAT'S a true statement, but in a slightly different direction here. Like MissDarlynCherie, I don't get any chocolate aroma with this, at least at first. What I do get is a primal blast of cops flavor. They are there for a little while, not covered so much as welded with the intense tropical fruit/deep maraschino cherry. I'll definitely take the time to help them dry out and let the fruitiness reign. Once that happens, a bit of cocoa comes out to play, shy and sweet. Overall, it's a lovely intro to OCCOWorld for me. And my dear male friend looooved it :)

  4. Now, I'd think that rose, honeysuckle, bergamot and amber would all be aces on me. Not so, not this time at any rate. Maybe the combo is just too close to my fabulous skin chemistry :P but it just absorbed into me, leaving a run-of-the-mill floral aroma. Two hours later, I get a lovely little honeysuckle/amber duet but it's a bit long to wait. BI nothwithstanding, I think I'll skip hunting this one down (unless, of course, I just happen to try it around some target and he LOVES it, everyone sing along now!).

  5. Surprise, this is great on me. If you can wear sandalwoods or resins, get a sample. There are just enough florals to balance, but they don't really show their faces. The drydown is warm and sexy as Invidiana said and far more upscale than you might imagine. Really, it's high-falutin. This would be beautiful in a massage oil or a body cream.

  6. Initially, it was pumpkin with a nice floral backdrop which became somewhat gingerbread-y for me as well. Unfortunately, it deflated on me into something rather flat and nondescript. Kind of boring, really. There's much better out there for me.

  7. What HAVEN'T I bought! I have the following coming:

    Sugared Honeycomb w/Eow

    Freya's Flirtation w/Stone Cougar

    and monthly sampler

Sh*t that's a lot!! I got phero-excited. This is what five separate orders looks like. :)

And I am FIRST in line for whatever you don't want...cause I have Krispy Kremes, hee hee hee!

  8. *considers carefully* I think this might be the first time I need to order the sampler pack. As far as bottles go, weirdly enough, Groupie seems to be my scent. It reminds me of what I designed for August. Didn't think I was gonna want Body Paint, but I definitely do, and Vampire Bait sounds...killer. :666:

As far as pheros and phero scents go, I really want Heart & Soul (Open Windows would great for those purposes too) and Woozy Floozy. Maybe LAM. And let's face it, with my penchant for procrastination, Focus Potion may be a necessity when it comes to my journalism career.

Of course, there's all the other stuff I need to order and catch up with!!!!!! Thanks, ladies! That sarcasm brought to you by my bank account.

  9. This is really, really old-fashioned sexy. The beautiful, purple-y sweetness of the violet/vanilla/berries gives this one a sense of innocent allure. It's not cloying, just sweet enough to be clever, and later the resins come out just a tad more forcefully, like when a couple has courted long enough to become truly devoted to one another and the moment (the moment, I mean) is right. Trust me, the long courtship is worth the wait, both in love and with this charming perfume. I have only samples right now, but multiple bottles would be ideal. Ah, summer, me and Violitious :D

  10. To review it, I had to revisit my first serious LPMP love affair. This is great stuff, and I didn't know I could loooove fig till I smelled this on me. It has a sweet, old-timey vanilla backdrop, like the smell of Norman Rockwell's grandma's kitchen. I'll be securing more of this for sure.

  11. Nope, no peppermint or spearmint here, just fresh and cool herbs, with a touch of sweetness and...olive oil? Maybe I just need to shake up my vial! Lovely, lovely, and if you want to wear mint, I believe this is your ticket.

  12. One from Ms. J! This starts out as black pepper. Peppery pepper, with a little sweetness. Soon mellows out with more sweetness and a bit o anise action. Slightly smoky, not in that obnoxious overpowering way that gets me sometimes, gentle vanilla flavor as well. All in all, a winner, and I may need to seek out a bottle for frequent reapp, as this one seems to meld with my skin quickly.
