Correct - tonka and tonquin are two different things.

Tonka is a vanilla-like bean, while tonqion is an animal musk.

*sigh* Had A bottle and a sample. Gave my sample to my boss. Her MIL is in from India& she says the MIL is a total * see you next thursday*. I've been using this scent as sparingly as the chinese restaruant uses actual shrimp in my fried rice. I know she needed it more than I do @ the moment though.

Layered over breaking the ceiling tonight & it totally muted the vanilla( vanilla kinda turned on me last night). Layered over BTC it totally smells exactly the same on me, as in the bottle. :onigiri_fruit:

Don't laugh, but this reminds me of Ludens' Cough Drops. Not in a bad way, though. Besides the obvious magickal congruence I think it's a good work blend because it's so fresh and bright. It deepens with time in that the honey and patchouli merge to create something mysterious.

 

In my experience with Swimming With Sharks I find that it makes people more cooperative. They're not afraid of me like with Dominance, but nor do they dismiss my imput or requests, so I'd say if other people are getting this kind of effect too then it may be the most useful workplace blend overall.

Got a sample of the shea in my last goodie bag. I was surprised @ how well it blended in a lotion. Very clean, like soap. I might have to get me some, when I run outta my Carol's Daughter. I thought the Carols absorbed well w/out being too greasy. The LP sample puts this lotion to shame.

Got mine today as soon as I got off work. Had to stop @ the post office, so I caught our postman first thing! Might start doing that everytime, waiting till 2p.m. kills me. I love Thief, it reminds me of the way my Strawberry Shortcake doll I had when I was little smelled.

The way everyone raves about peach here almost makes me wanna try it. I love fresh, juicy peaches. I got into this artificial peach syrup when I was little & drank the whole bottle . Long story short as long as theres nothing syrupy about the peach bring it on, if there is please let me know now.

My husband has a weightlifting contest coming up. He's reading that sniffing ammonia will get him amped up before he lifts. I was thinking he'd be better off w/ the right pheromone blend.
