How much cake? I like the idea of cake/frosting, but am scared of the Orchid...

 

 

BV, I consider you my scent twin. (you like pinks and spicies right?) How much floral and amber are we talkin? Do you get a spicier marshamallow or more floral amber?

Don't be scared of the floral! This is not a scent that screams floral at all, it is very subtle. It's so well blended together so you won't smell like old lady flowers. It's also not spicy at all. I think you should get a sample because it is very beautiful!

This one smells very good. It is not a cloyingly sweet peaches and cream. It is more like peach tea with a little cream mixed in. I don't even smell floral, it smells like tea to me.

I love this! To me, it is very similar to Dead Man's Float. It's creamy and fizzy and has great lasting power. I might need a full bottle.

I was hoping this would be more woodsy smelling but it is really sweet and fruity. I don't really get the woods at all. It's like syrupy orange fruits and super sweet. It still smells pretty good, just different from what I expected. It looks really pretty on my skin, all bronzed and sparkly.

I love this! The floral notes don't stand out. They just make the marshmallow-amber-musk base seem more elegant. Smelling this makes me want to get married. It's like a beautiful wedding cake. I need a full bottle!

I thought the notes kind of sound like they don't go together, but I got a sample anyway because I figured Mara could make it work. It sounds really good! You've eased my fears, I think I will like this one too.

I was scared of the florals in this, but it sounded so elegant, I had to get a sample anyway. It sounds so good! I'm glad I ordered a sample and I can't wait till it gets here.

This is such a great idea for a theme. The potions look beautiful!

I don't see much effects on others with this, but it makes me feel more independent and like I don't need anybody. For effects from others, I prefer Dominance. I think this one is more for self effects, which is really great because I usually don't get self effects.

This is really stinky! I cover it with Frosted though and it works really well. I cannot wait to try it. Tyvey's reviews make it sound amazing.

This smells like starburst to me, then as it dries down the smokiness comes out.

I got a trial of this because I loved North Pole. I get a lot of spices, but underneath that it smells just like bread. Not gingerbread, just bread. This might be too foody. Maybe it just needs to age a little. I can smell the frosting too, like off to the side of the bread and spices. It's like all of the elements are separate right now and they need to meld together.

This smelled just like another LP to me, but I couldn't think of the name so I looked through the perfumerie archive. Now I remember, this is just like Egg 2011! No, wait. I shook up my vial and tried some more. Now I get the icy peppermint. This is like the winter version of Egg 2011. Instead of being all soft and sweet, there's a little bit of kick from the mint.

At first, the brown sugar in this was really sharp and it reminded me more of Autumn Lust than Sugared Apples...now that I've let it sit for a while, it has mellowed out nicely and the apple has come to the forefront. It smells just like crisp, red apples covered in sugar. Gaby, another good apple scent is pomme de poison if you can find it but it is ggg. I like most of the apple scents here too!

No, I hardly ever layer scents. Have you tried? What does it go good with?

This one is beautiful and I can't believe there aren't more reviews! I hadn't tried a dry floral before, but I like it much better than the typical floral. It smells, soft, feminine and classic. I don't feel like I am smelling flowers with this, it is more perfumey but really beautiful.

This smells like pretty pink and orange cake. Later on, though, it reminds me of buttered popcorn.

I am giving this scent another chance and it has grown on me! It smells yucky on me at first, but then it manages to smell like a pretty flower without smelling floral. Maybe it's like a vanilla flower? It's an addictive kind of scent. I thought I didn't like it, but something makes me keep sniffing it so I've decided I like it. It's kind of like a song you don't like, but gets stuck in your head so much that you eventually find yourself liking it.

I wish the descriptions would come up in search! I'm so impatient.

I didn't expect so many new pheros!!!! Can't wait to order.

 

 

Even though Luna says it won't be this month, Mara has said that she WILL re-brew it......and you can bet that you will LOVE IT when it is offered. It is a fab scent, light fruit and florals with a seaweed-y tang.....I can't wait to get my hands on some more.....and my man is as excited as I am! Even though I normally tend toward the darker end of the spectrum as far as scents go, I do like to have a few lighter ones on hand.....Mermaids is one of my faves.....

I knew it would be re-released, but I was hoping for this month. That's ok, I can be patient. It sounds really nice, aquatic scents are growing on me so I am pretty sure I will like it.
