I quite like this, far more than any other version, I think. The red wine and grape notes are at the center and everything else entwines softly around it in the beginning. The resins deepen throughout the drydown but I don't feel like they're overpowering the other notes. I suppose the most interesting part for me is that I really didn't get much of the rose on my skin but I really liked what I was smelling in the vial. Otherwise I think it's is a great take on this kind of floral-fruit-resin kind of blending.

This is nice, garden-fresh, for once I feel like the heather is in balance with the other elements, there's an emphasis on the plant side of things rather than the watery side. I get a slight touch of soapyness but it's not off-putting. It stays very linear in wear.

Yeah this is really sheer, much more sheer than I would have expected. I did a double-layer on my wrist and I still can't smell much. And I'm just not used to that when it comes to G&L. In the long drydown there's something about this which is doing that Play-Doh thing, sadly.

I really like the whole gingerbread-meets-woods ideation of this version. It's sweet and spicy and woody but in perfect balance. The sweetness takes a backseat in the long drydown but it's such a delicious blending, mmmm!
