  1. Oh, you just reminded me! I have been wearing Ashes to Dust EVERY DAY since New Year's! I have been just dabbing a drop between my shoulder blades to ward off bad things that may creep up behind me. ::wink::

How to decide? Well, a lot of times it is what is close at hand. I've been keeping a bottle of LP Autumn in my makeup bag as it's a current fave, so I put it on when I put on my makeup in the morning. I also have a bottle of Chakra Balancing Potion on my desk, and dab it on my temples when I get stressed.

Other times, it's a suggestion from one of you on the message boards - you review it, and I think, HEY! I haven't worn that one in a while! And then other times, it is because of the magical properties. When I leave the house, I consider my intent for the day, and pick a potion that corresponds to that.

  2. You're totally right, May.

This happens often, that a new blend will deepen as it ages after a month or so, when the ingredients truly merge.

I've also noticed that Eleven and Bubblegum Robot have both taken on richer more saturated tones.

  3. Funny how we all perceive scent differently. There's not a drop of vanilla in this blend. It is comprised of mosses, woods, musks, and white sugar. A very soft and nurturing combination.

  4. Funny you should mention that! You are the second person in the past 24 hours to ask for Scandalous. I spoke to Cindy this morning to let her know that a customer called over here asking for more and couldn't find it on Cindy's site. Apparently, Cindy thought that we were all sold out, but I let her know that we have 12 more bottles here for her that I'm mailing over to her right away. (I believe that count would be down to 8 now, including you Chaionlife.)

Yes, the perfumes we do for Magical Omaha and other shops are indeed limited editions. Cindy also asked this morning if we would be willing to do a Raven Moon 2008 edition, and we agreed. That one was extremely popular and sold out very fast, it seems that she still gets many requests for it, so we shall do a new brew of it soon.

  5. If you are into having a life reading done for yourself or for a gift, I would like to recommend our friend Raven De La Croix, aka Raven De Lumiere, who has just launched a site where you can learn about and purchase her services online.

Raven is the most incredible 'reader' I have ever come across. She's not a traditional 'fortune teller'; a session with her is more akin to a very healing, inspiring, encouraging therapy session that makes you come away with enthusiasm, wonderful ideas about how to take advantage of your strengths, and an improved self image. She is an extraordinary intuitive healer, a very loving compassionate human being. I cannot recommend her highly enough, and if you choose to partake of her services, I know you will fall in love with her as much as I have, and benefit from her natural gifts.

Please check out her site here:

  6. Whew. Finished. All the pages are live. Now Danna and I are going to go pack up your orders like madwomen, so I can get on a plane in the morning.

This is the last ship date of the year (tomorrow morning that is), if you order after this evening (Dec 21st) your order will be shipped in a week.

    Thank you everyone!

    Happy Solstice, Happy New Year!

P.S. We are also completing our LP: Winter Solstice brew this evening, which will be available with January's releases.

  7. Wow I noticed that Phero-Girl is on the low stock thread. Do you plan on releasing other Phero blends or perhaps another batch of Phero-Girl?

Yeah, can you believe it? Over 75% of the stock is already sold. Phero Girl and LP Autumn have to be our fastest sellers ever, (formerly the record was held by Betrothal Potion and Lover's Reunion Potion). There's only about 15% left of the Autumn supply.

I wasn't planning on rebrewing Phero Girl, but I am planning to release another set of Phero Blends in January (for Valentine's Day). ALL of our Valentine's releases will be Aphrodisiacs, by the way. :)

So, anyway, I have not firmly decided what the next blend will smell like, so I am completely open to suggestions.

    Anyone?

  8. I've been puzzling over some of the comments I've received regarding Phero Girl, and its comparison to Sugared Honeycomb.

First of all, YES, It was an intentional choice to use a Honeycomb base along with the Copulins, because when I smelled the EOW Copulins, I knew this would be the ideal cover. The natural scent of honeycomb is very similar to the scent of "female musk", in a flattering/complimentary way.

What's puzzling me, is that some have remarked that Phero Girl seems like a "thinner" blend than Sugared Honeycomb, when in fact the opposite is true. Phero Girl is opulently rich. It finally occurred to me, that perhaps the advice to 'SHAKE WELL" on the label and perfumerie page had not been heeded.

You will notice, there is a settled layer of deep orange on the bottom of the bottles and Trial Vials. That is the Bee Pollen, and it is an essential part of the experience of this perfume. You MUST shake this blend until cloudy, and then apply. If you don't , you're not going to get the intended effect.

If you didn't shake it before you tried yours, please do me the favor of doing so and then report back, ok? Thank you!*

    FYI:

    Ingredients for Phero Girl:

Honey, Honeycomb, Orange Blossom, Bee Pollen, Amber, Sugar, Essence™ of Woman Pure Copulin.

    Ingredients for Sugared Honeycomb:

    Honey, Honeycomb, Sugars.

  9. Prominent Notes: Cardamom, Cassia, Linen, Wine, Cinnamon, Myrrh and more.

This is one of my favorites. Nope, no Dragon's Blood in this one. I never thought those two smelled similar - I am going to go sniff for myself...Oh, I see what you mean. The combination of spices in Mummy Stuffing seems to mimic Dragon's Blood a little bit. I find Sabra a bit sweeter tho.

  10. Dark Seductions, to me, is a very dark floral, with a deep violet making the strongest impression.

Isis is a deep resin blend, middle eastern, incensey, with a hint of sweetness.

  11. Wow, this really does smell exactly as promised. That sugary white stuff--seriously, it reminds me of the cream in a little sandwich cookie. How does a fragrance manage to convey something like texture? Seriously, this is not a "gooey creamy" or a "liquid creamy" fragrance, if that makes any sense. It's sweet and sugary, a fun combo for things like Sugared Berries and dark chocolate/coffee-type fragrances too.

Heheheheh. All of those delicious fillings are made with hydrogenated coconut oil, so the secret to reproducing that 'texture' was a tiny hint of coconut! ;)

  12. Fascinating stuff there, thanks for your input, May!

I am really appreciative of the education I have been receiving from the phero enthusiasts. :)

We are planning another round of Phero fragrances for release in January, (Valentine's Day and all that, y'know), and one of the things that our Phero Guru had suggested and we were going to do, was a mix of the Copulins and that "aggressive" pheromone that is also naturally present in females (in perhaps lower levels than men). We were thinking as a sexy personal-power blend. Go get your man, or kick some ass if you have to, kind of thing.

Any thoughts on the matter? What about for the scent? I was leaning towards building it around Japanese Cherry Blossoms, (Sakura), but I'm open to suggestions.

Is there a formula of Pheros that works on both sexes equally, perhaps as a mood lifter? I wouldn't mind capturing that effect you are enjoying in the Phero Boy, and maybe putting it into a deeply resinous incensey base.
