I am not sure if this would be something that you could make, but how about a spell potion to attract positive things that are just right for you/meant to be. So, I'm thinking of something unlike Whisker Wishes, because sometimes we wish for things that may not be ideal for us in the present moment.  More of an openness to receiving positive experiences/interactions/items that will help us to move along on the path we are intended to follow.

I like that! I will think on it and peruse my many tomes of magicks. :) Thank you for the suggestion! I will add it to the list.

  2. I am beginning my plotting and planning and ingredient collecting for the New Year's Spell Collection, and as we always have to narrow things down, I want to ask you all what it is you really want.

I'm starting with this general list, and we can expand this, then do a poll to narrow it down again, k? Thanks for chiming in! xoxoxox

but this one seems it doesn't have as much heft from what I remember and is significantly more airy like floating spider web?

The original title of Gossamer Threads was Spider Silk. It seemed that few wanted to buy the gorgeous scent because of the ACK! SPIDAH! on the label, lol, so I renamed it for future incarnations. :)

Good afternoon, Potion Master. 😘 Firstly, these are truly lovely, both in respectful representation, and in olfactory appeal.

I absolutely am ordering a sample of Earth and Urn and Sugared Skulls. I sometimes amp amber/resin/Copal. I noticed you mentioned sweetening Earth and Urn. Any suggestions for sweetening if my skin betrays me, or, should I ask you once I have received, rested, and tried the scents?

I think you'll like it as is, and you can even share it with your men. But it would pair well with any of the Autumnal dry leafy blends, or indeed LP Original. :)

  5. Personal obsession of the moment: I have been wearing Earth & Urn every day. It smells amazing on me and lasts and lasts all day into night. One day I inadvertently layered it with one of the LP Autumns of yore, and that was fabulous too, so I recommend some experimentation with it if you desire to sweeten it up.

  6. Dragon's Blood: Different harvests can smell different ways. IMO, it's supposed to smell like rich dark resin/sap. Some of them can smell a touch spicy. I have noted that low quality examples can smell like cherry or cherry bubblegum. I tend to use the types that smell lavish and rich, and I pass along ones that are not up to my standards.

  7. THE NEW RELEASES ARE UP AND ORDERABLE! Woohooo! Thank you for your patience!

As always, please let me know if you find any errors, I appreciate the assist!

    A note about this collection:

What started as a fanciful idea between Israel and myself became a true collaboration of friends, and this set would not be around without the contribution of all of those credited on this set. I want to thank Israel, one of my best friends on Earth, for facilitating this collection while I was down with The Plague last month, as well as translation assistance and aroma testing and approval while my nose was in dubious condition. Brenda contributed a multitude of recipes and ingredient suggestions based upon the holiday and other beloved Mexican traditions. Sacha also contributed recipes and ingredient ideas, and spent hours educating me about Dia de los Muertos, as well as helping to properly entitle the blends in Spanish - which was tricky, because some of them differ between Mexico and Puerto Rico! And last but certainly not least, our amazing Julie, who combined multiple voices in two languages into one cohesive masterpiece of a collection. We hope you love this set as much as we do. Enjoy!

And here is your Cheat Sheet for the month!:

    Thank you! Good night!

  8. It's 'Weenie time!!! :D

This set is a collaboration between myself and 3 of my Latin American friends....Israel, Brenda, and Sacha...who all contributed recipes, folklore and titles for this exciting themed collection. The artwork was created with the assist of an AI bot!!! Isn't it beautiful?!

The perfumes should be up and orderable online by Monday, and will be debuting in our shop tomorrow, along with the grand reopening of our store - we constructed a brand new library room and expanded our divination and clothing sections - so come on down if you're local! ❤️

Oh that's right!  And then there was Oidhche Shamhna, the chocolate-covered caramel popcorn balls.

Ail said it was Gaelic for Halloween or something, and was pronounced something like O'shamni Shafta...in that way the letters have absolutely no relation to the pronunciation. But I looked at that first word, and said, THAT is where JK Rowling got Quidditch from.

    ETA: I found this:

Oidhche Shamhna (Oy-hya How-na), is the eve of the ancient Gaelic festival of An t-Samhain (Un Tav-een) and the root of all things spooky and Halloween.

  10. No, seriously, does anyone really want to smell like a peanut? I have a big stash of nut oils and can hardly ever get myself to use them in perfumes. A little almond or pecan, yes, but hazelnut or peanut? Truly? If you want it, I'll make it! Be specific! lol. Cuz I am not naturally coming up with nut perfumes in my brain.

Ok, who has a good recommendation for a good perfume box...

Along with wooden tea boxes, which are a great fit, I keep mine in a shot glass display case on my wall. It's around 4x the size of this one though. :)

Also, we have lots of these for holding supplies...apothecary style media cabinets (for CDs) are the perfect height
