Hi! Favorite LP of all time? I would kiss you if I could! Thanks so much!!
So- I made this one with Danna I think, or Mara too? All I know is in my last round of PE's they each did a few. Forest Floor was Mara and Skelly Tart was Danna-I know that much.
I too adore my Orange Blossom Special(we named it after the Johnny Cash song, just so ya know).
On me, its very juicy(initially) and youthful. Not in a teenage way, just very young and bright. The peach hits me first, its a 'floral peach', at least thats what note was used, so I reckon its peach blossom? But to me it smells like juicy wet peach juice-but thats just the IMMEDIATE top note. It quickly develops into a deeper scent-heres the Orange Blossom in its full floral glory and a lovely orange blossom at that! And after a little while, soft light woods meld in. Each note ties together seamlessly and it brings to mind being in an Orchard on a sunny day, waering a gauzy dress while a warm scented breeze caresses your skin.
Fruit, flowers and woods in harmony. No sugar in this, nor honey. The ladies always have done me proud on my PE's, and Orange Blossom Special is certainly no exception! Thanks again M&D!!

Got this as a sample today. It is heavenly. This might be my favorite LP of all time. Everyone that had their hand in this is brilliant. I am awful at describing fragrance. I don't really get any honey, and it isn't a light floral like Betrothal..It reminded me a little of Hummingbird Nectar. Not foody at all...ummm that's alll I got other than it is divine.

Almost threw up....Only 3 left. After my order only 2!

You girls are having way to much fun with the pheros. I gotta try them.
My top five in no order
1.Southern Gothic 09
2.LP original
3.Dark Seduction:Black Rose
4.Belladona Brew
5.Hummingbird Nectar & Cocomama
All time favorite is Halloween Moon, but it is sold out. I even offered my oldest for a vial but no one has taken me up.. I will even throw in the husband, but you can't have my dog!

This wasn't exactly what I was expecting but I LOVE it. I was thinking it would be almost like Little Goth Girl....I like it so much better. I just recieved it in a trade and so glad I did. I agree with above post it is definatley not an in your face rose. Very Sexy and not foody at all. Can't wait to try on the hubby. He hates foody smells. He isn't a fan of perfume at all. LP's are light enough that he doesn't complain. (except LP Red) He hated that one.
-
ALOT I would say. I love the sprays. I wish I would win the lottery.
I have never tried the beta sprays. I guess I should. Which one to make my husband drool...He doesn't really like foody scents.

Kbudish, I know exactly what you mean...I spent years amassing a commercial collection, only to find it felt much more like "coming home".
Crazy isn't it. It is like LP's just meld into you. Others just kind of stick around!

I don't know if this is the right place for this comment. I just want to give M and D credit for there wonderful works. I am a perfume SNOB. I love the pricey ones. I decided this year I was spending my Christmas money on a perfume. I went to SAKS to sample some of the Bonds #9. Also went to Nordstrom's to sample anything new they had. SO they all smelled the same to me. No Wow factor. I am so used to LP's original scents that I was completely bored with these. None of them made me feel comfortable, like being wrapped in a warm blanket. I sampled Chelsea Flowers $220. It didn't smell as good as Betrothal(light floral) I thought "What am I doing?" I finally found one I liked okay that was $330. WHAT!!! That is crazy! I still didn't like it as much as Southern Gothic 2009. So to make a long story short. I will not be wasting money on over priced department store fragrances that all smell the same. I will remain a loyal LP girl. Thank you Mara and Danna for your wonderful money saving creations.

There are soooo many I want to try. Return to Me sounds great.....Well really a lot of them do!

I had this as a Custom sugared made for my little girl. It was wonderful. She was sooooooo thrilled. It smells like sweet fresh cut roses. THe bottle was absolutely adorable. I wish they could have seen her face when she saw the bottle said her name. PURE JOY...Anyway it was amazing ON ME....so sweet light and innocent.

Another one of Cheesy's awesome creations. I have never smelled anything like this in my life. Honestly, it's both really deep and dark and has this delicious--not food-edible, but just sumptuous--quality at the same time. This is what all those department-store perfumes claiming to be "dark and myseterious" should really smell like. It basically has my name written all over it. Until I find a bottle, I'm carefully rationing my sniffie!
If you like that one, you should smell Sugared Twilight....even better!

Sounds very interesting..........

Somebody please review.....I have one coming and can't stand the wait!

I didn't like Southern Gothic 2008 at ALL...Just didn't work with me. Southern Gothic 2009 knocked my socks off. I love love love it. I didn't get any of the floral really. I know there is something dark in there, but I just can't tell what it it.

Well crap! Why am I the only one that can't wear this! Where is the soap smell coming from?
-
I like this one. I got it on clearance. It is a little overpowering for about 30 minutes. Then it dries down to a spicy, clean apple scent. The kids in my class loved it. I think it is a perfect scent for winter without being to heavy or cinnamonish. It lasts all day too!

My daughter(7) scoped that one out and wants me to order her a bottle. I had my little girl a scent made for Christmas, and yes it is all about the name on the bottle!
