  1. Quick T/J. Storemy -- I LOVE your new avi!!!! Actually, I love staring at your new avi. He is just sooo gorgeous and cute and . . . and . . . whaaaa??

I know, right???? LOL now if Frambuesa can imagine me into a world where I get an umbrella drink and makes him wearable sexiness, I will buying this stuff by the gallons.

  2. Yeah it's not meant to be; I think it's meant to be more like a frou-frou umbrella drink but with wearable sexiness.

Ah, thanks for the clarification, LV and Luna. Actually, that it's NOT a sugar fest makes it even better. Anyone can dash into B&BW if they want to smell like an eighth-grade girl. I want WOMAN raspberry, and this one sounds spot on.

I'm really excited to hear that too. I love raspberry and really wanted something summery and light without smelling like a berry jam. I think you summed it up Ducky with the "woman raspberry". LOL I can't wait to get mine in the future. *sigh*

  3. Stacy, glad it has a good long lasting effect on you. Most everything LP usually does. Wish this one had for me but that's ok. It's such a great scent that it's worth it. I'm thinking I'll try again more during the winter and see if maybe colder weather will have a different effect. I will probably try a little lotion too. This time of year everything dries up fast here so I think I will test again after I've put some hydration back in my skin. ;) Can't wait to read your experience!!!

  4. I agree Pursetan, the only negative I would give this - on me- is that the scent didn't last too long. I did reapply later in the evening and boy, all I can say is that the description is accurate with all that cuddling!! I guess I will have to chalk it up to this being one that my skin eats up. I'd buy again knowing that but it also makes me want to try CB more. So glad it worked so well for you with co-workers! I wondered if this was more an intimate cuddly type phero so I'm glad to hear the effects were so friendly and kind at your job. :D Every now and again, it's nice to be the one THEY want to take care!!

  5. In my efforts to use one at a time and see how/if the phero works on me, I decided that since this was a laid back, custard making Saturday I would try out Velvet Kisses. I loved how it smelled in the bottle and going on wet, I totally smelled like a nice warm, dark chocolate. The coffee is really light, almost nonexistent but I could smell the orange... reminds me of eating one of those chocolate oranges that you smack on the table and they all break apart in "orange slices". After it dried down, the chocolate really disappeared on me after about two hours. It became more a very light orangey amber and that's ok too.

When my husband got home, it was kind of a surprise because he came up behind me and was very touchy feely... VERY. That's not normally him. And after having his face in my neck and shoulder for a minute he pops up and says "You're wearing baby powder?". LOL Hmm, well... not sure where that came from but I definitely think the CB got to him (yay!!!). He's been very sweet - holding my hand and rubbing my leg in the car, taking my plate from the table after dinner (definitely not him) and rubbing my neck for me.

I love the smell of this but I think I will save it for when the weather gets cold. This makes me want to slather it on and go to Starbucks for a hot cocoa while I do Christmas shopping. :xmas34:

  6. I agree Honeybee... I tried a little dab on the wrists last night of the MRF 2009 and the scent is darker and more sensual than V.3. V.3 I can wear to work and it's a lighter brown sugar, brighter, I like it for Fridays because it makes me happy, relaxed and ready for the weekend. 2009, I would definitely want to save for date night. The undertone to me was a bit more musky(?) and deeper, the maple plays a much larger role. I love both and love even more that I have a day version AND a night version!!

  7. I'm so oblivious to attention normally that it takes something really noticeable for me to actually say "hey, that's different". Because everyone at work tends to be rather reserved, I did see a difference from their normal reactions when I wore a more conservative amount. Then, when I overdid it (again, I think I did), it was as if I had just disappeared. Normally, without pheros in my life, I've alway been rather front and center because of what I do so in that case, being completely ignored... yeah, something was awry. I think SS4W is awesome but now I know that it's one I probably should dab like BB.

Like Luna said, it really is so subjective and is obvious because the same ones don't work for every person and everyone tends to use a different amount to reach the same reaction. Dolphindoll uses a lot to get reactions because of chemistry and others can dab on dots and get it. Listening to everyone's experiences is great because then you can start to kind of figure out which way you tend to go and adjust accordingly. You ladies are awesome and having a site that focuses on women's experiences is wonderful because men don't get just wanting to feel "sexy" versus getting sex. LOL Although one day, no matter what it takes, I will persevere until I find something that actually has a reaction on my husband!!!

  8. I completely agree with you Tyvey. I was doing really good for awhile and was getting pretty consistent good feelings with that but then the "more is better" moment hit and um, yeah, not good. I'll work on being more patient. Today was a great day for a lot of reasons so I think I got it out of my system. One thing I will say is that Cougar really brings me out of the ugly doldrums. The scent is almost clarifying and calming to me. That was what I needed today. I feel like I needed a time out like when my daughter was three. Lol

  9. Drinking lots of water is also a good idea to flush out what you may have absorbed when you apply too much, as well. I've OD'd with cops before. I was decanting some OCCO Red & I didn't want to waste any so I smeared the leftovers from the pipette & etc. on myself, before heading to Walmart. That was an interesting experience.

Apparently, there is much much more for me to learn because I wouldn't have thought of that!! Here in Arizona, especially right now, that is something that I can do! However, now that I've said that, it also makes me think... because I do need to drink so much more water because its a raging inferno outside, on the flip side, does that mean then that I might burn through more pheros? I don't think applying more necessarily worked if ghosting is what happened but maybe apply a spritz or a dab with the oil a little more often than someone who lives in a cooler clime?

Sorry, don't mean to keep taking road trips off my main question... just brings up more thoughts that I need to research!!

  10. I LOVE the idea of fabric softener for people!!! The department I work in tends to be a bit reserved. I definitely wouldn't want to change anyone per se but it would be nice to see the soft(en)er side of everyone... maybe a little more relaxed and less uptight.

Good luck Eggers... hope you have a great experience to share!!

  11. Yeah, I went a little crazy with the MRF (with SS4W) and LAM... and by little, I mean a lot. It was just one of those days that I was dragging and thought it would help but I swear, whereas before I had gotten great hits with a normal amount, this time it was really like I wasn't even there. If I said something, it was almost like they were surprised... strange. It could be for a lot of reasons but I just asked about pherobombing so that if that was the case, then I can have a back up plan. Now today, I wore a bit more slathered scented Cougar with a couple of sprays of Open Windows and it was like night and day. Everyone was so helpful for everything I needed, I hardly had to lift a finger for anything... which, since I've been up since 3 am for work, was much appreciated. Its a different scent combo so I know its not a fair comparison for effects but it was definitely a much nicer day than the total ignore. LOL

MissHazel, I like the idea of just wiping off if I really think I've done it. If I get that feeling again (hopefully not), I'll try doing that and see if it works. BB, that's a great example because that was exactly what I was wondering... if people would return to normal later on.

Raq On... that poses an even better thought... if you constantly OD, can others become acclimated? LOL

Then again, I'll have to keep the OD effect in queue for those days when it wouldn't be too terribly bad to be invisible at work!!!!

  12. Pherobombing. Probably a good majority of everyone has done this at least once (or more) in her/his excitement. I've read quite a few threads that mention "ghosting" and if I understand correctly, that happens when you've OD'd to the point that its almost like you aren't even there... something that I think I made happen (in my over excitement). So, I did have a question about whether that effect wears off over the course of the day so that you end up with the correct amount diffusing later on that you should have applied in the beginning or, are you pretty much out of luck if you overdo it first thing in the morning? Has anyone noticed the effects after the phero has worn down for awhile? Can ghosting effects turn around over the course of the day?

Sorry if I missed an answer somewhere about this on the forum but hope someone has some experience on getting past the OD if you think (thought) that's what was happening.

    Thanks!!

  13. I have the spray. It's great!

I so can't wait to get this!!! I was hoping it would work great in spray and seems like that is the general consensus. I seemed to have some good effects with it in Red but that is such a wonderful scent all by itself, it'll be nice to try it with others and test it out.

  14. I've got a really cute little hanging shelf with doors on it. I know there's a thread to show others what you've done and I'll try to add mine this weekend but I agree NuTrix, my shelf is no longer big enough... and I ordered more but Everything Nice and Flambuesa looked sooo good... maybe I'll start that project that I was thinking of this weekend at the craft store.

  15. Mara has a wonderful 12-step program for that addiction. It works like this:

In January, I want to order . . . [fill in the blanks]

    In February, I want to order . . .

    In March, I want to order . . .

    etc.

It's a great program. And no two months are the same!

Do you ever start to feel that you need to stash the goodies under the bathroom sink inside of tampon boxes or other places you know that the SO won't dare go look in? I'm beginning to look like an episode of Intervention... minus the intervention... because I don't have a problem.

  16. I can't wait to hear the reviews when everyone starts getting their bottles. I asked Mara to put my order on hold until my PE gets completed so that she can just send everything together. I think this is going to be a wonderful scent.

  17. You know, I haven't gotten a fishy smell from this, thank goodness. It's tangy (hope that's a right word) and sweet floral to me but I can get a hint of the seaweed in the background. It doesn't overpower though. I'm so glad that I've read the posts about shaking the bottle first. You never think of that when you purchase the blah blah standard perfumes.

  18. I'm going to bump this, in part because I told MissHazel I'd let her know my thoughts on it. I picked this up from Amazon and I've already posted my review there but for everyone here, I have to say that I find it different in a wonderful way. First off, let me please say that I never grew up in the Midwest so I only have California farmland and Arizona desert to compare so here goes....

In the bottle and while worn wet, its definitely dry grasses and florals with a tinge of herbs - all sweet but strong. After it dried down, I got a powdery, lotion undertone and it reminded of the freshness of a morning shower, slathering on some light lotion and then taking a drive out in the country... the open window blowing all of the scents in the air around in your car and whirling with the scent of your lotion. Sweet and earthy. I get the grass and floral in equals doses but the undertone is soft and gentle. It reminds me of sitting outside on a late spring evening when the breeze is warm and carrying the scent of blooms and plants and grass with a touch of earth, not quite as dry as the description to me.

And with that, I have to say that it is a sexy scent, dry grass and all. At least for me, it is reminiscent of springs and summers as a teenager when everything was alive. The future was as open as the road and I felt passionate about life and love. It's a scent that reminds me of first kisses and laying in the grass looking up at stars. All those carefree days when you wished the day would never end. Didn't expect it to have that effect but I'm definitely glad that if I get homesick, I can dab a little on.

  19. I'm really tempted to get straight Gotcha in spray form (60/40) but I know it has some cops. Seems like many of you have gotten it in spray though so have you had any problems with the cops? Is there enough that you wouldn't want to spray in your hair? I'd like a bottle so I can spray with my other favorite LP scents. I have it currently in LP Red and I don't smell any cops at all but Red I think would cover just about anything!! LOL
