Thanks Memorare! I can't wait to smell it! I told Mara my inspiration for it was Crayons: Gypsum White....it is one of my all time favs and I'm hoping that Black Leather White Lace is reminiscent of it..

Mine is Carol's Black Leather White Lace (I forgot to tell Mara to put it under The Birkeys..Carol is my mom's name).....I asked for White Florals, Fresh Vanilla, Egyptian Musk, a hint of leather and a little sugar....

The anticipation is building....I'm looking for some loves in this month's NRs that I can wear when I meet my fiance....I'm sooo excited about finding some sexy potions!!!! May the days pass quickly until Mara posts the NRs!!!

Welcome to the forum! Like androstenol, I came to LPMP for the pheromones, but once I tried Mara's potions (perfumes) I fell in love with both....LPMP is the best in the market for its phero blends and for its perfumes!!

I have used several of the ones I got...Purple Puff, Love Potion original, and Tropical Orchid. All of them smell divine!! Managed to pick up a few of the sample phero bottles to add to the unphero'd tarts I got from the trade boards...also, the phero'd tarts continue to smell so delish, even after the 4-5 hours when the pheros are gone.....I thought a little bottle of pheros on reserve to add a few drops to them would be great!! Wish I had thought of this earlier when they were all for sale, but there are still some fabulous blends like Open Windows and Levitation, Treasured Hearts, MLH and Teddy still available..

All PEs on deck will be released along with the NRs next week, I have around a dozen of them to finish.

So, in other words...you really aren't taking things slow..lol

I'm being a bit slow this month, I'm afraid. I actually took last week off for realz, because I worked double shifts in Nov when everyone else had their vacation. (I made jewelry for the store all week for my vacay!) So anyway, I think end of next week is truly what we are looking at. I am almost done with the brewing and labels, and the PEs.

 

OH! And I am turning off the PEs for a few weeks so I have the time to work on the store. Just FYI. Thanks, and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you! I'm glad you are at least getting a little time to relax by taking things slower...you deserve it!! Only wondering...since the PEs are being turned off for a few weeks, for the ones that were submitted in December....will they be released the end of January/beginning of February or will they be released with the January NRs? I'm in no rush...just asking..

Just got to try Mean Business a few days ago...I didn't think it would be one that I would love. Boy, was I wrong!! On me this is a perfect clean and fresh cottony scent. I happen to love these types of scents!! I love Sneaky Clean and it puts me in mind of SC without the sweetness. It's a perfect fragrance for work..for both men and women! I can't wait to smell it on my guy! The phero blend SWS is not one that I am very familiar with because right now I am at home taking care of my dad and the house, but I put it on my mom, who is a nurse, before she leaves for work and she comes home in a better mood after a day of dealing with doctors and other co-workers..lol The potion and the phero blend go together perfectly in my book! Planning on a fb of this one!

I really love this one! At first, the lavender really stood out and I thought it was going to be all medicinal lavender (I love lavender, but sometimes it seems sharp and overwhelming on me)...as soon as it dried down the other notes came through and it all blended together very nicely....it's a beautifully soft potion and the Balm Bomb is great! I use either Balm Bomb or B2.2 every night to help me wind down and relax so I can fall asleep...it always works. The relaxing fragrance of the potion along with Balm Bomb blend of pheros is perfect!! A must to try!!

I've been using Mega Watt since I received the sample..I went ahead and got a fb of it along with my sample...I'm now on my second bottle!! The effects I have noticed are that it helps me to get focused in the morning...I usually have a hard time waking up and I'm not a morning coffee drinker so I spritz myself within an hour of waking up..usually around 8 sprays. The real difference I have seen is when I start to move around, the momentum gets going and I get in the zone to get things done. Maybe when my body heat increases the pheros are better released. So, to sum it up....

Sitting/limited physical activity...feel more focused and together

When physical activity picks up...more driven to get things done and increased energy

Again...I'm on my second bottle, so for me this is a winner!!!

Can't wait for the January NRs!!! Getting so excited!!!

Thank you Mara!! Today I thought about Flying Potion as a wax melt...don't know if it's even possible or if there would be a demand for it, but as I was spraying it on me I thought how uplifting it would be...just throwing that out there..lol

I can't wait to try the Tropical Orchid!! It's seems with the notes that it would be a little similar to my PE!!! Summer Sun sounds yummy too!!!

Okay so...

I have tried 48 of the 51 samples and another has hit the list. I like all of these in their own way, however there are 15 that I love enough. It appears one of them is sold out, so I may try and see if there are any samples of it left. The ones that I love enough for Full Bottle are (in no particular ranking:

 

Steamy Daydreams - This one is delicious and I am surprised it is not more revered on here. Full bottle at some point.

Thrill of the Chase - I just really like the smell of this. It also has the Hunter Trapper phero in it. I have no reports on any of the pheros yet. Just the smells.

Valhalla - FB's Sold Out. Need to check on any remaining samples.

Dirty Old Man - This one makes ME horny. I don't know about the ladies, but makes me crave oral sex! Dive in.

Salute - I don't even remember why, but it is on my list. I write them down while I am wearing them. I will remember next time I am wearing it. Also has a phero in it, but...I don't remember!

Tonka Musk - I don't like the picture of the dude on it (LOL), it should be my picture on it, BUT I think the smell is captivating. I wore it at a softball game and one of my friends said, "You powdered up, nice!" It does have a powdery effect for a while, but overall this one just smells great on me I think.

Lucero - Great scent. I get a lot of the coconut with the wheat and poppy poking in here and there too.

North Pole - I love Ginger (see, I even capitalized it) and this smells fantastic! I was told I would have comments from the ladies while wearing this. Nothing yet, but I love it and that matters more to me.

Sand Box - This smells really good and beachy. I wore this last night and just kept smelling my wrist.

Voracious - I am not afraid of the foodie scents. This one is magnetic to ladies. I have not gotten any comments on it, but did not need to. It was obvious.

TMI - Another sweet scent. Also boosted with TMI pheros.

The Hunter and the Woodland Nymph - I am wearing this right now. It's funny, just like I wrote about Salute above. I didn't remember why I liked it, but wrote it down. Now that I am wearing it again I know I really like it. More of a classic cologne, maybe?

Goal! - Another scent that comes off a little sweet to me, in a good way. My expectations for this one were low being a sporty themed scent. But Oh was I wrong. It also has pheros involved. I think MVP.

Love Potion: Homme - I wasn't really looking that forward to this one either. I tried the Love Potion #9 a couple times and I am not crazy about it. I suspected it would be similar. It is not even close. This is much different and in my opinion I love the scent enough to wear often.

Pashazade - I just ried this the other day for the first time. I immediately loved it. Such a different smell and welcoming too. I think it's got pheros as well. Again, I don't pick them for the pheros. Smell and how I feel wearing them.

 

There are three that I still have not tried yet. Based on the percentages of 15 out of 48 above, I will most likely add one of them to the list. One of them is Super and I understand that this is UN with SS4M. I already know that I am not crazy about UN. I don't dislike it, but there are so many I have listed that I like a LOT better. Here are the three I haven't tried yet:

I have the 10 samplers for November ordered along with two freebies - Moon of the Falling Leaves and Soul Food.

A couple of these new ones on the way are certainly sparking my interest.

Geez! You have been busy!!! I don't know which type of scents you go for, but I think Captain Fantastic is great for men and my dad likes Defrosted a lot (he likes to smell clean, kind of soapy clean)...I got Top Dog for my bf..it's a really nice potion...I'm glad that you have already found some loves!

It could be that the pheros had absolutely nothing to do with how he behaved. He could have had a family situation or a personal situation that day and his feelings came out in that manner. Most men tend to internalize things and get quiet or grumpy. he may have started having romantic feelings towards you and felt like you were not returning the feelings or he may have tried to distance himself from you because of his feelings and a fear of being hurt. See how the next meeting goes and if he reacts the same way then try to talk to him and see what is bothering him...I hope it goes better next time..

 

I totally understand. The LP site was designed specifically for us, and gives me the option of programming everything then flicking the switch to make them go LIVE. If Etsy has this option, I have not found it yet. I am brand new to the site, only been here less than a month, so I have been putting them up in bunches as they are ready to ship. You are probably correct that I should have waited until all of them were done and just list them all at once. With everyone off this last week, I had to juggle the jobs of 3 people, so was just doing things in shifts as best as I could.

 

I have some singles of a few of the sold out ones and others....ones that didn't have an even number. I was going to post them as a "sampler set" but I am saving them for you, if you want them.

I am so sorry, Mara...I'm feeling very selfish right about now....I know almost nothing about working with computers..I saw one in school that my teacher had but we weren't allowed to touch it...in college I took one course, but that was back in the 80's so you can imagine how much that helps me today! It takes me months to learn the programs for jobs!! lol Thank you so much for working during your holiday and for your offer! I would love to have them, unless there is someone else who needs them for the holidays and in that case I would be happy to wait for the new batches (I still have a few Garland and Lace left for this time of year).....I should have known that you would take care of us by making more because you always go above and beyond to keep us happy!!

Birkeys, you don't understand how all of this works. I have been loading them as fast as I can. I spent 12 hours on this yesterday so it's not a matter of "not taking the time". I too am surprised that people have been grabbing them up as I have been listing them. I am sorry you are disappointed.

 

I have another half dozen to do today. I will order more supplies today and make another round as soon as they get here.

I'm sorry for venting ...Let me clarify what I am trying to say by "loading them in a more timely fashion"...what I am trying to say is that when you load the NRs on the home page they all come up at once...I'm not trying to say that you are not working hard because I know you all are always working long hours....I just watched my cart go from over 200.00 down to half of that in a matter of hours!!! I'm trying to wait so I won't be placing numerous orders or wanting to change mine after the new ones are listed...I shouldn't be getting so upset over fragrance tarts probably..

If you could make a second batch of the SO ones, that would be fabulous! I just noticed the LP originals were on there and they are already half gone...this is crazy!! (crazy for me, but I guess pretty nice for you! lol)

I usually don't complain on here, but right now I am so upset that I'm doing it...erase it if you like. I have been waiting for all of the tarts to be loaded so as not to make various orders as instructed by LPMP....meanwhile the tarts in my cart are disappearing..yes, a few are now sold out!!!!! So, while following instructions....I missed them......well, I am now to the point of saying "screw it...I will do without any" I am really disappointed in LPMP for not taking the time to load these in a timely fashion.....

Meanwhile I am waiting for all of them to be loaded and some are going to sell out while I'm waiting....I'm trying to be patient and nice but the truth is that I am miffed about spending my day yesterday checking to see if they had all been listed and one or two more and then no more....feeling a meltdown coming....

I started adding them last night, added a bunch more today, and will continue to add tonight thru tomorrow. I think I have another 6 or so to go.

Thanks for letting us know...I was starting to have flashbacks of September when I was waiting for the sale to load..lol I even saw some extra tarts that weren't on your list!! woo hoo!!!! Thank you!!!

***I guess I should explain what I mean with flashbacks...I was so afraid I was going to miss the time when everything was loaded for the September Sale that I stayed glued to the computer the whole day...I know there are plenty of the tarts...it's just me and the OCD...and the fact that I'm a hopeless hoarder...

I know you all are extremely busy....I started making my cart this morning and I know some tarts were added in the afternoon...I have been waiting for the others to check out..do you think they will be added tonight or tomorrow...should I pay for what I have already or wait? thanks
