Midnight Requiem

I was super confused as to how I ended up with a trial version of this scent in my order, and then I realized it was probably because I stuck my forum username in the monthly freebie space and didn't clarify that "Midnight Requiem" was my forum username... Whoops. It strikes me as both a clean and fruity scent at the same time, like eating pinapples on some fresh linen sheets? I think the "orchid" registers as clean for me for some reason. I really like it, though I don't know if it's a "me" scent. I'll have to give it another sniff when my nose isn't out of whack from being sick!

Couldn't resist getting a spray of this half-boosted with Lace! Seemed like the perfect girly sweet scent to be paired with such a girly phero. Gonna have lots of fun with this one...

Hi, I'm new on here but have been lurking for quite some time!

 

I was wondering how people find women react to this one? I've read people saying it can be used as a social but has anyone ever had negative reactions from ladies while wearing this? I'm kind of wondering the same for LAM too.

I get a lot of DIHL (deer in headlights look) from women when I wear this. I haven't worn it enough to properly write a review though; some of the veteran members can probably answer this one better than me! (Also have LAM, but have been saving that one as well...)

It looks like LP ships internationally, AFAIK including Italy. No free shipping, though, and $25 minimum.

Yes we do ship to Italy. But the Italian Post is notoriously slow so definitely prepare yourself for that.

Really sweet and sugary on me! Wet and drydown is almost all mulberry... either my skin amps it, or my sniffer just sucks at picking out distinct scents (or both). It's very "pink" and fruity, and I wish I could get more whiffs of the eggnog. I can't pick out the nutmeg on my skin either.

Last order before I probably stop ordering until at least June depending on if Mara ships to Italy... -weeps-

I wasn't a fan of this at first. I got a trial in my first order, and it smelled really sweet to me, with the coconut threatening to go sunscreen lotion. About two months later, I found my trial again and put it on my chest. I liked it, but it wasn't love to me. A week after that, I discovered a shirt while doing laundry, and the chest area had the most heavenly vanilla scent, and I panicked for a bit because I had no idea which one it was and it smelled SO AMAZING. Crossed out Cream of Life and Compromising Situation because it wasn't spicy enough, so I deduced it had to be BBM. I think a full bottle of this may be in store for my next order which I should be placing very soon...

This is one of my favorites, so much that I snagged two bottles from the Trading Post and nearly finished off one bottle already! I love the initial blast of juicy cherry from this; it's so bright (compared to the resins) and yet also sensuous. The boozy vanilla then takes over during drydown, and the resins on my skin become slightly herbal before settling into this deep, patchouli-esque scent.

On a side note, I got this on my bra when slathering it on my chest, and the next time I picked it up from the floor to do laundry, I was hit with a blast of dark cherry vanilla! This baby lasts and lasts!!

My guess is (and this is just from looking at the pheromone wiki page so someone please correct me if I'm wrong) Topper has the most DHEAS (listed as first ingredient) while SS4W, LFM, and Bang! also contain decent amounts (2nd, 2nd, and 3rd ingredient, respectively).

My first thought reading tropic, coconut, and vanilla was LP: Tropique, which has tropical vanilla, honeydew, cantaloupe, coconut cream, magnolia, apricots, patchouli, honey, amber, and patchouli. Despite the presence of amber and patchouli, on me it dries down to a very soft coconut-magnolia tropical scent. It also contains a dose of copulins too! The opening up communication part makes me think something with beta-androstenol like Gotcha or Perfect Match as you already said. I'm still new so maybe the veteran members here might have more helpful advice. Good luck!

Test-drove this today; ate both lunch and dinner out and had drinks afterward. I didn't experience any selfies, but every server was very attentive and one of them (a woman) looked at me in a somewhat enamored way every time we interacted. It all made for a very pleasant day.

I can't wait to test-drive this! Witty Kitty, out of curiosity, what form do you have this in? I got 60/40 oil spray... I'm always so conflicted over going 90/10 or 60/40.

This is my favorite of the sugared's so far! I have tons of fall/pumpkin/sweet scents, and this layers perfectly with those to give them a touch of brown sugar caramel magic.

This is so delicious and very evocative of cherry chocolate pancakes. On initial application, I get a blast of juicy cherry and a hint of chocolate. I get the maple syrup and cream on dry down, and my skin amps the maple syrup but not in a bad way. May have to pick up some Sugared Cherries or layer with another cherry scent so I can get that delicious cherry note to last on me. So glad I got a FB, and would definitely recommend to fans of cherry chocolate scents

Just applied a small spritz to my wrist of the scented TMI spray to test the fragrance. I went full bottle on this unsniffed for the phero alone (got specific targets in mind... Huehuehuehue) and the rave reviews. I'm getting a very clean scent, due to the musk I believe. Hoping that letting it settle a bit will ease the vanilla and caramel out. Debating getting the oil too since that's probably where those components shine.

Wore this sniffie today! I smelled like a delicious lemon cupcake. I didn't get much strawberry specifically, though I did get hints of fruitiness. I couldn't pick out any patchouli, though my sample might still be travel shocked. Dry down was just a delicious buttery lemon cake!

Wore this from a sniffie today. Initially I get very very sweet, jammy strawberry which quickly becomes a rich, buttery vanilla cupcake within 1-2 hours. I applied it about 12 hours ago and can still gets whiffs of the vanilla cake. I've found with buttery vanillas there's a risk between wet and drydown where my skin can turn it plasticky.

Soooo...hypothetically speaking...if I just happened to be sitting here right now plotting my next order, should I wait to submit in case something is coming down the pipe in a few days that I may need? This is all hypothetical...of course.

 

I know this isn't the right place to ask a question most likely..so forgive me in advance! I plead newbie status! But I was wondering...how do you tell if a scent is permanent, seasonal, limited edition? I am getting my next order and really want some "Awake". It is still able to be ordered but will that change soon?Do I need to grab it soon?

Some of the November phero-enhanced scents are permanent though and don't seem to have been added to the list yet.

I think if something isn't on that list it's considered limited edition and will be available for purchase until all the bottles sell out, and then it's gone unless Mara does a rebrew in the future. I'm a newbie too though, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong!

I also got a sniffie of this! Smells just like a warm pumpkin pie to me. I'm not a huge bananas fan (in scent or taste) so it might just be my nose is a little more sensitive to that note, but it dries down to what Tyvey said - kind of like a banana whipped cream scent on me. The pumpkin also begins to smell almost like graham crackers? It's a warm, delicious scent.

I'm so excited! I'm kind of obsessed with anything cherry in it and own a ridiculously large amount of cherry LP's... And I have a bottle of Crescendo coming in from the Trading Post, and after another forum member suggested pairing that with Ambrosia, I couldn't resist!

This baby lasts and lasts! I slathered myself about 10 hours ago and can still smell it on my skin! It's such a rich scent. The coffee is very prominent when wet but takes more of a backseat during the dry down, which is mostly a delicious brown sugary-cinnamon on me. It's sweet and deep, and the throw seems to be large too. Someone about 6 feet away from me asked what smelled so yummy. Also, PSA if anyone needs an enabler, there's still one left on Etsy...
