Last year, while the phero trials were available, I bought a trial of EOW. Since it has the little dropper, it's perfect for adding a few drops to bottles
That's what I wanted to do, but I didn't see any trials of EoW left this year, if there were any available! I might buy a trial of Sexpionage and boost one of my bottles that way...
-
Hint- It's an excellent cover for EOW.
I'll definitely pull this out the next time I wear LAM or LFN! >:3 Eventually I think I'll need to get a bottle of EoW to boost scents with...

Got a bottle of this from the Trading Post, and I am in love. This is probably something I would have overlooked otherwise because the notes aren't what I usually go for (coconut worries me because of the "sunscreen" thing, honey is difficult for me to pull off too, and I wasn't sure about the ginger), but wow, I LOVE this. It's very bright at first, with the ginger and papaya as the top notes for me when wet. I get the slightest whiff of honey, and the honey and coconut settle into an almost musky scent for me during the dry down. So beautiful!
-
Love this one! Wet is very tropical and fruity on me, and then the drydown is coconuts and vanilla. It's possible that my nose isn't very sensitive to cops, since I couldn't smell any in there. At the end, there's a slight hint of that vanilla patchouli that all the LP's have, but it's so light. The coconuts and magnolia remind me a lot of Leilani.
-
Wet, I get a lot of lemongrass, which eventually mellows and then the tea rose and tea notes come out. It's a very clean scent and kind of "uplifting" or bright to me. The drydown definitely reminds me of soap, as Beccah and Halo have said, but not in a bad way. I actually really liked this more than I thought I would and will be enjoying my sample, even if I don't go FB.
-
Like Bella, I've also had a package marked as delivered that didn't actually get to me until a day later.

Hey Blanche! I'm super new to pheros and LPMP in general (
I'm going to keep a journal and keep track of how many sprays I use. I'm guessing I'm still trying to find my sweet spot. Best of luck to us both!

Waiting on my November order still (should be in tomorrow, though I won't be home until Sunday!) and am super excited to check out everything and try out the Pheromas samples. For December, I'm thinking about...
UN Pheros
Perfect Match - 60/40 spray (I think this one is a definite)
Sexpionage Pheromas Trial
Open Windows - 90/10 spray (maybe)
LFM - 90/10 spray (maybe)
TMI - spray (maybe)
Lumina - 90/10 spray (maybe)
I'll probably end up picking 1-2 between those last 4... Haven't decided yet.
Scents
Blackstone + cops (I am accumulating a ridiculous amount of cherry scents, omg)
LP Red + OCCO Red (maybe, depending on how I like my sample of it)
LP Black (same)
Tyvey's White Chocolate Rose (undecided)
Plus anything I really adore from the Pheromas sampler set, if any, and a sample of Merry and possibly Sparkle Frost!
-
Ahhhh I'm not a huge fan of rose, but all these reviews are making me want to grab a bottle!
-
Really tempted to order some Blackstone boosted with Cops... Should have ordered a sample of this with my November order, but I didn't read the description until after i already placed it, agh!
-
Welcome! I'm in my early 20's and am definitely still super awkward/shy/nerdy. What's in your first order?

Hi Midnight Requiem! I love OCCO SLF, too. As you have said, it has great lasting power, and that is one reason that I sometimes apply it to my skin prior to applying other LPs, since it seems to anchor them. I love honey and I love SLF, but to my nose, SLF does not at all come across as overtly honey. I see it as a separate thing entirely. A little of this goes very far!
I think I applied too much of this when I wore it... A little of it definitely goes a long way. That's a great idea about using SLF to anchor scents. i think for me the honey is strong at first, and then it fades to more of a musky floral scent? My nose is sensitive to honey so I've yet to find a honey-scent that works for me and doesn't go floral!
-
Oh my goodness; I don't know if it's just honey scents in general or something about my skin chemistry + honey scents, but the sillage for SLF is incredible. I could smell it on myself a whole day later. On my sheets, the scent lasted for a week, and my clothes 1.5 weeks and probably more if I hadn't done laundry. The honey is super strong, and to my nose, the whole scent overall smells floral? I got a comment that I "smelled like a flower," even. The musk comes out later, and it becomes almost like a dirty floral honey scent for me.
I'm not a big fan of honey, but honey-lovers are bound to adore this.

Omggg!! What an exciting order! You must be dying in anticipation!!!
I'm super excited! Gives me something to look forward to after the craziness of finals week

Found a part-time job a few weeks ago and recently just got my first paycheck... I work 20 hours a week now on top of being a full-time student, but it's so nice to have some extra spending money... I dove right in with a haul and mayyyyy have gone a bit overboard with my order.

In the bottle, this smelled like a pina colada to me, even though I knew there was no coconut in it (though I'm tempted to layer it with a coconut scent, just to see what happens!). The pineapple is really strong, and like Dolly, I get pineapple all the way through the drydown on my skin. The vanilla is faint while wet, and it doesn't really come out until drydown. The patchouli in this is really soft for me, and the drydown is more creamy, vanilla pineapple than resiny or patchy. I don't usually go for fruity scents, but I love this and will be going FB.

Newbie question: How does payment work if I want to place an order on Etsy and the LPMP website this week? Would it be combined somehow so there's less invoices and fees overall? Thanks in advance!
-
Thanks for all the helpful responses, everyone! I think I'll include a trial size of Cougar and likely one of H&S and OW. I've been especially eyeing OW for a while... And I'm also interested in LFM/LFN. So many choices; I just want to try them all!
-
I'll stick with the Freaky Tiki (though I admit I'm intrigued by Red)!
-
Hi everyone!
Just wanna preface by saying how excited I am still about LPMP. Everyone here has been nothing but welcoming and helpful, and I'm looking forward to placing my second order soon with full-size perfumes this time (hellooooo LP Summer Solstice 2015)!
Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I've read so many raves about Cougar Potion, and was wondering if it would still be appropriate for a just-turned-22-year-old? I've read it works for all ages, but I also read a post from Mara (http://lovepotion.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=2493&p=171086) where she said it wouldn't do much for a younger person. Granted, I'm a little order than the original person who asked the question (17), but yeah. Just curious since I'd love to experience all the hits everyone else seems to be having with Cougar.
-
Can I reserve a bottle of Freaky Tiki? Might have to make more reservations once I see the notes for the others...
-
Oooh Freaky Tiki sounds delicious!

This starts off as a light, creamy, caramel coffee scent, then transforms into a darker coffee as the amber and patchouli comes out. Near the end of the drydown, it smells kind of like coffee remains, and the coffee scent is very intense throughout. I wish I could have that initial creamy caramel coffee note all the way through though. Gonna test this out more before deciding if I want to get a FB or not.

Ugh, reading your post made me so angry for you! I hate when people who work in customer service oriented jobs are rude assholes; it's one of my biggest pet peeves and something I frankly have no patience for. I agree with Halo; please file a complaint!
