Rosebud

This one was a real surprise to me...BIG time! Almond notes are one of those notes that I just can't do. I amp them to hell & it doesn't smell like almonds on me. It's more like a supercharged version of those blue glue sticks that I used as a kid or a weird sickly almost pistachio-like smell. And this sickly note is what hit me when I sniffed out of the vial.

Immediately when really wet I did get a bit of that, but it mellowed very quickly. The drydown revealed a completely different scent, one which is totally up Rosebuds alley It's all creamy vanilla goooey goodness

Definitively not for rosebud I'm not a big fan of soapy clean scents anyway but this one is nothing but soap on me. I really amp that note, and I really don't like soap smell at all. Funnily enough Mr Scrumptious likes this one...

Oh poooo! Is this really gone already? I did what LV did... Left this one to last. For some reason I thought it would make me smell like samboucca. It soooo does not! It's very sexy, a touch of darkness when wet (?cocoa) but dries down beautifully to something which very much resembles Licorice Wand (the lush GGG one )

I really love it! Wish I'd gotten a bottle...

Aawwhh, I'm soo disappointed I thought this would be the hit of the NRs for me so I got a bottle unsniffed... But alas it won't work for me. It's a lot like uni sexy but I amp the sandalwood to nauseating levels, it drowns out everything else Such a shame because I really like LFM

I love this one, its my fave from the march release. I don't get anything that's overtly an apple or fruity scents from this, but there is a sweetness to the musky vanilla that I suppose has some fruity top notes. This to me is perfect for work (I work with lads)... It's sexy & feminine without being an "in your face feminine perfume scent" like a floral scent would be. It's much more subtle with its musky & non-foody (but still sweet & creamy) vanilla, yet still very womanly without being too sexy. It's just enough perfume & woman scent to set me apart from the hardcore tomboys in the department, but not too perfumey to make me come across as "100% woman"... It may sound weird, but this scent lets me get away with still being a tomboy (and therefore accepted as one of the boys)...just one with a girly twist & subtle sexy smell. With this I can still be one of boys at the same time as I get to be a bit feminine, it's like the middle ground - the best of 2 worlds.

Luna, pleeeeease... For the sake of my mental health, please give us a few hints with a bit more to go on? I'm on call, and it's a bank holiday here with fun, sunshine & the regional jazz festival in the park... So I'm not overjoyed about being on call

Oh how I love this! The cherries are somewhat subtle but definitively there, swimming on top of an oooey gooey thick vanilla cakey scent...and it lasts forever. As for the phero... Well, I think I may be heading into addiction territory. I use this pretty much every night. This is my perfect snuggly cozy bedtime scent. The scent in itself makes me feel all cozy, but the phero's also make me chilled & mellow. It's perfect for winding down & destressing from work prior to going to bed. The phero also makes me a bit sleepy so I relax & can go to sleep fairly quickly. For any of you with ADHD you know that getting to sleep can be a big issue whether you're on meds or off them.

OMG YES WHY???? I was crying all day yesterday and if I was not crying I was angry, then I was so miserable because I couldn't sleep.

I had to take 3 at once- and I have to take another 3 today and cycle down.. but I think I am not going to take them because I was a fuckn maniac last night.

LV... Which steroids did they give you, and at what dose? Did they tell you WHEN to take them, or did they just assume that you would know that steroids should always be prescribed to be taken in the morning? Steroids are well known to cause insomnia (which is why they should be taken in the morning) & they can also cause nightmares.

MH, I don't think this has anything to do with phero's at all. They don't get into your system causing systemic effects, they only give you transient effects.

It's more than likely due to the stress you are/were under. If you we're under enough stress to cause your normally very regular cycle to be off by 3 days, then that will cause you to be completely out of sync with your regular hormone levels & cycle. It'll easily disrupt things & just like when you start (or go off) the pill, it'll take you 3-4 cycles before it normalises. I wouldn't worry about anything sinister going on

Yay! Stalking time! Finally

I've been in similar situations a few times too. I get what the advice given by the others comes from, but for me it's not worked. I don't know if its because the type of hierarchy/pecking order that we have in the scientific/medical field is very specific for our field. In my experience wearing swimming with sharks, Dominance or Leather,(but especially SwS) made the situation worse. My guess is that it's because of the specific environment/culture that you find in medicine/science. With me wearing Swimming with sharks, I'm no longer just someone that he/she dislikes but I also walk around with an air of "I'm competent & good at what I do", and in the medical/scientific setting that then makes me more of a threat & competition than what I was before when he/she just disliked me.

For me, the best options have turned out to be to ignore the person who dislikes me in the phero equation. I focus on me entirely & go for phero's that soothe/calm me or brighten my mood. It may not make the other person like me more, but I feel better and as a result am less stressed at work...which in the long run gets noticed by seniors & other co-workers. So end result is basically I feel better & also come across as behaving better compared to the muppet who for whatever reason dislikes me.

My personal favourites are B2, Heart & Soul, and Perfect Match, but sometimes I also wear PP or Open windows.
