My interview lasted two hours long! Yes, you read that right. We got so wrapped up in talking that after an hour and a half, she was like, "so, would you like to meet the baby?" and I was like sure! A half an hour later, we were walking back to my car, talking about Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

She'll be letting me know on Wednesday/Thursday how it goes. I think it would be a good fit - we'll just have to see! But I really, really felt comfortable around her and after the initial jitters went away (meeting new people can be nerve-wracking, I am so shy sometimes) conversation was easy, it flowed, I felt like there were some good vibes going back and forth.

In my experience Heart & Soul works great on women too. I have to second using B2 to make your first impression, though, & maybe H&S for your first week to ingratiate yourself more quickly.

I considered that option/line of phero evolution, but I read somewhere here that it's better to be phero-free around kids so that they pick up on your own personal vibe. Also, tiny baby is wee little bitty (4 months) and I wouldn't even know where to begin with spray amounts with such a tiny human. Even adults can be sensitive to that - just a little bit of H&S had a dad being goofy, flirtatious, and show-boating around me, which was hilarious but violated the Code of Les Revs.

Oooh... B2 is good...calming and trustworthy. (I need to make something with Beta-Nol and Est, without Cops!!!!) Ummm, Lace = upbeat and maternal? Open Windows is good too..trustworthy and upbeat. Any of those, yeah? Best of success, Sweetie!!!!

I have an interview tomorrow and I'm really hoping to land it (money requires me to land it, yikes). I don't know if I've ever mentioned this on the board but I am a nanny. I'm meeting with the mother tomorrow and I have already picked out my perfume (something from BPAL that is reminiscent of Burt's Bees Baby Bee lotion) but I am wanting to add a phero.

Obviously Leather isn't going to work out in this situation, as much as I need the confidence boost. I need to be warm, sweet, trustworthy...not "let's crack the whip and get this started, pay me NOW!" I was thinking of Heart & Soul but am wondering if that is more oriented for menfolk?

Alternatively, I have Lace, Open Windows...umm...BI, which was also nixed. Boy/Boy and B2?

The first two scents that come shining through when I wore this were banana and RUM! Not just rum, but RUM! I usually shy away from the alcoholic scents - mostly because I am a nanny and I don't want people to think I am boozed up around their children - but this was absolutely delicious smelling. The RUM! stayed around for about a half an hour, and then the whole creation turned into this lovely, creamy vanilla, sweet and amazing. I could identify the banana later on, while my mother did not, and it was just a gentle fruit addition. Yum, yum!

Based on my last astrological reading, it looked like I was going through that fun time early, or something similar. I made it out alive! Now I need gentle transition!

I put this on today because I definitely am in need of some transition as I move from 23 (late early twenties) to 24 (mid-twenties, yikes) and just a little help to feel stable right now as things shift and move around me. I really love this scent because it's a gentle transition - I can smell the earth and the myrrh, with a touch of a sweetness - and not at all a BAM! Smack you in the face 'cause it's TRANSITION TIME B*TCHES scent. My skin loves amber, so I get a lot of that. It's just very smooth, intimate, and peaceful and I can tell I'm going to need a big bottle.

There's a touch of masculinity to it, but it's not a blatant boy scent; definitely unisex. It's just strong and steady.

I could sleep in this. I'm already trying to decide if I want to keep it straight or boost it: I could really go either way, but since I love Boy/Boy, it might be a nice addition because I feel good when I wear Boy/Boy. Referring to B2, of course.

I just sniffed the Tarots I ordered and THEY ARE ALL SO GOOD. Mara, you're crazy talented, woman! I don't know if the World will be good on me just because really sweet makes my head ache but it is awesome in the vial, and everything else is just guh. So good.

Ordered a bottle of The Empress (seems my style! And I need some Empress energy in the upcoming year.) Also picked up samples of Embody the Tarot: Transition, Embody the Tarot: The Star, Embody the Tarot: The World, Allumette, and Sexology II. I'm really excited about getting my order!!

Ya know, I got so excited about the Scent/Card thing that I didn't even THINK about how they'd smell ON me!!! Hee hee...

Ha! Well, I had The Empress pulled for me a few times as my future...and I'm hoping to move into that soon. I'm having such a rough time over here. I needed to be The Empress, like, yesterday.

So here's hoping it works on me, and can help me capture some of that energy!

Oh my gosh, I am freakishly excited and really hoping that The Empress, The Lovers, and Temperance work for me!!

Ha! Reminds me of the Beyonce quote that inspired the band name for CSS (Cansei de Ser Sexy) - "I'm tired of being sexy".

It smells very good and I am recognizing the vanilla musk from Elevation Potion. Sadly, that's all that remains on my skin! Vanilla musk! All of the other amazing notes from the vial were devoured. I wish there were something dark and heavy to counterbalance the light, fuzzy musk. I'll keep it around to see if it'll age or if it smells good on a fella.

Miss Mara, if we want to have our sale scents boosted while you're out of town, should we place and the order and request a hold?

Somebody above asked about reactions from the public, but what about reactions from your SO specifically? How is a guy going to react to his girlfriend/wife giving off a "male at peace" vibe? It seems kind of strange.

I was actually curious about this the other day, when I was preparing for a blind date. When I'm stressed, I reach for Unisexy. When I want to smell amazing, I reach for Unisexy. But I wasn't sure how a boy would react to it! I mean, I guess it would Not Compute? Since it is a male pheromone and a guy would be like, "hm, I am getting male feelings from this girl, weird..."

I really enjoy Boy/Boy but B2 has this soothing, smoothing over effect on me. I don't feel sexy-confident, just completely cool and collected and terribly comfortable in my own skin when I wear this.

This is very traditional in some ways. It has a regal sense to it, one that makes me feel like I'm going to a cocktail party on the arm of a very prestigious man; at the same time, my skin has pulled out the linen note and has amped it, making it approachable at the same time. Perhaps the last bit of your evening perfume lingering after you've gotten home, wiped off your make-up, and changed into your night clothes?

Leather or Dominance would be a great pheromone combination with this scent.

I told him he was the only one who said that...and he says I'm pretty sure everyone else can smell it too maybe they were just being nice but not saying anything.

Rude! Maybe he doesn't like the scent memory of cotton candy, but some people do and are not "being nice" by enjoying it.

Woof, this is sweet. I don't know what my skin is doing to it, but I feel like the sweet notes in all of the "foods" in this perfume have been yanked out and are beating up my poor nose! I was so sure I would love it, and I think I would if it were more mellow. It'd hurt my teeth if I tried to eat it, I am sure; it's just syrup on me.
