  1. QG, have you tried "Shark Whisperer"? I love it but I do wear it to work for the phero. Very salt waterish. I layered it with "Bonnie" the other day to get the feel of salty marine air wafting over Scottish highlands.

ETA: corrected "Shark Whisperer". I had the name of the phero there when I meant the name of the fragrance that contains the phero.

  2. I finally found my original bottle to compare to this. The original has more of a hay scent, and it goes through a phase (on my skin, at least) of kind of a dill scent. Really sharply green, but that could also be a component of the hay notes. The new brew is softer and sweeter, and almost cotton candy sweet when compared side by side to the original. It is a really sweet, soft foral with that rare heather note that I love.

  3. I never got this because I didn't want all fruit and melons; I like the seaweed, bladderwrack, kelpy notes that this one doesn't seem to have. But from reading your descriptions, this one might smell a lot like the Australian Gold spray gels I buy at the drugstore or Wal-Mart. So if any of you have any Australian Gold products and you have Tail, you might want to compare to see if you could use the Australian Gold gels or lotions as a general body lotion with Tail on top. I buy them for the SPF

  4. This is one of my faves too, QG. I lost count of how many sample vials of this I have stashed around in so many places (home, purses, office...) because it's something you can grab if you can't decide on a scent. It's always great and is appropriate for anywhere.

  5. I love this one too, and I'm not a huge fan of florals. I'm very picky about them and this is one of the very few that I care anything for.

We need it's opposite: a deep, dark, heavy funeral flowers scent. :vampire:

  6. I got cinnamon first. I'm trying to test things without going back and looking at the ingredients to see what my reaction is sans that prompting, and I got spiciness first. It feels like a very warm, Autumn type of scent. I get tobacco later on, some cake scent, and a little fruitiness. All in that order. After dry-down the tobacco and smokiness seem the strongest part of it.

  7. This one starts out watery and fresh; it almost is aquatic and reminded me of "Mermaids of Atlantis". Later the florals come more forward, and I can pick out rose but it's not overbearing. This is a classy floral that makes me think "old Hollywood" for some reason.

  8. :BananaRow:GODS! This month is FULL OF WIN!!! :BananaRow:

What she said!!!! Baby Chicks!!! Wicked!!! BONNIE!!!

  9. I love cherry scents so this is right up my alley. It is yummy sweet cherry syrup at first, then vanilla, and then the other ingredients make their entrance. I'm wondering what other fruity scents I can layer it with to make some interesting variants.

  10. I did get this. Love it, but not for an everyday perfume when you'll be around other people. I might enjoy this around home just for me, or as has been stated for its intent in a spell. Mara's description is spot on, and because I've dabbled in making magical oils from various essential oils and am familiar with the nuances of scent I'm OK that this doesn't appeal to the masses.
