  1. @ Mrschrissyrez, Calii and Eggers: He he - the amusement of addiction logic. To be honest back in September when I got a £200 surprise bonus at work I had pretty much decided that was going to be LP Phero Month money, despite how much I had already treated myself for my birthday in the LP sale extravaganza. I had already set the money asside so it'd be rude not to get them.

All us ladies are worth it.

@ dolphindolls2: I will definitely save up for next years all phero month. Mara's phero blends are amazing. Start a LP fund of $21 a month and that would cover you for next year, if prices stay the same. That is like £13 a month. This just makes more and more sense the more I think about it...

@ missdarlyncherie: I know, my little pickle is a sweetie. If I'd known about LP before I got married I could have worked a LP funding clause in the vows somewhere...

@ katz: That is adorable that your guy takes choosing the right potion seriously. Must admit I was pretty proud one day when the hubbs was going out for a mess do (fancy military dinner party) and requested that I selected something for him to wear. Naturally I choose Salute for the charisma phero to help him have fun with the guys and for the relevant theme. To think that all the years of me begging "Please can I put something on you? No one else will smell it. It is just for me to smell on you..."

  2. Eeeek I have pondering my order ever since the labels came out and finally decided on the ladies 10 full bottle set, using the following logic:

    1. There were a good 3/4 absolute must have cannot miss out, and well that alone is nearly er, 10

    2. Postage to UK for 3 bottles is $10 and postage for 10 bottles in $20 so postage is better value at 10 bottles

    3. I'm saving myself a good $65 getting the set - I mean come on bargain

    4. I can try to sway family and friends that we should just buy ourselves our own presents this year - then my Xmas shopping is done!

    5. If any of the bottles don't love me as much as I want to love them then my family are going to get some fragrant luxury gifts

    6. Hubbs already told me to get it and if I didn't have the money he'd treat me...that bonus a few months back has been patiently waiting for this day

    7. And hey, I'm worth it.

  3. I'm setting here trying to find a good reason not to buy the full bottle set for the phero month, and I have the warmth of my chest making this scent waft up to my nose and it has helped me to rationalise that heck there is no reason for resisting. So I shall not.

Anyway, back to this scent, I haven't really been able to experience the effects of this on other people yet. I know for myself I find the self affects really relax me and mellow me out. I wouldn't say that I find this green in any way, more spicy and resin-y. I love it, and it everything feels much better with this on. I am so pleased I got a big spray bottle of this unsniffed, I would have been gutted if I'd missed out. You can't go wrong with oak moss, and the frankincense is prominent in this, with the sweetness of ylang ylang behind it. The basil and carnation work together to tend this a touch of non-sweet creaminess that is to die for.

When the hubbs is back home I will try this out on him.

  4. I didn't get around to trying the "B" "S" version but this one has really exceeded my expectations. When it arrived I sniffed it from the bottle, as did the hubbs and we were both a little. Oh, err, not getting much there. Which I should know by now means nothing and should be utterly ignored. I only really got around to properly trying this a couple of nights ago. As it warmed on my skin it really bloomed. The florals kinda blended and I couldn't really pick any one note out and I hadn't checked the ingredients but it was just beautiful. I went to work the following morning with something else, can't remember what is was but it faded after a few hours and I put my jumper on and my goodness I there was this devine smell. You know when you are hunting it out, who is it, what are you wearing and then you realise it is you! I wore thar jumper the night before and the Bodacious musk was lingering on it.

  5. :10_small16:

...meeeee too, although I like the Ranger I have invisioned while reading the books a bit better :001_302:

Maybe I should get the book. That bit where she is handcuffed naked in the shower and phones him for help. OOooooh yes please, come and rescue me...

  6. How much of a long shot is glistening buttons?

Ooooooooooh Moonholly, I'm with you. I missed out on Glistening Buttons because the hubbs had one of his "eewwww fox piss" reactions, which I now ignore since when I try the sampler again he flippin loves it on me.

Must remember hubbs knows nothing when it comes to LPMP, therefore buy everything because it is all gorgeous. Yep, that sits well with me.

I'd love to see if Mara has created a perfume with Topper in it. You can't beat Mara's scented phero blends.

  7. Kissing Mara would be like finding unicorns and jewels at the end of every rainbow.

Missing out on a perfume is like getting married, full of regret and sadness that leads to alcoholism and sluttiness.

Too true. Oh Lady V, you sure do tell it just as it is. ?

New Releases look über stunning and sound utterly drool worthy.

  8. Waaall now, y'all...if yew wanna tawlk Suthun, Ah reckon Ah kin manage that, jus' f'r a few minutes. Ah have t' go powdeh down mah dewy complexion in a bit, but Ah kin tawlk f'r a little while. Whatchew all wanna tawlk about? Ah just ADORE English accents, y'all. Ah was on an intuhview with a Briyut th' othuh day an' Ah coulda just listened tew him f'revah! It was positiveleh delahtful!

Mizz Mara, DEW yew reckon we could have us a special thread jus' t' tawlk abowt accents? Ah think that'd be wunnerful. Ah'll make th' sweet tea an' some mint juleps. Ellie an' Mel c'n make th' hot tea - Ah dew love me a cuppa hot tea on a chilly day - an' Quince c'n bring th' shortbread. We'll all sit down an' have a nice aft'rnoon snack. What y'all think?

Ha fantastic! I love the southern twist that helps me get all of the pronunciations correct.

Afternoon tea you say? Capital! I'll get a pot of Earl Grey on the go and knock up some clotted cream scones and homemade strawberry jam. Id do cucumber sandwiches and various afternoon tea fancies but that would just take up valuable scone space....

I say 'scone' as in 'bone' and not 'gone' by the way.

  9. @ Mara: If you can keep the shootings to a minimum and fit your horses with slippers I really don't think it would be a problem. : )

@ Mel: Queen Victoria isn't using it anymore, so if you can wrestle it off of English Heritage it's yours! Maybe a LPMP posey headed by Mara is just what we need to ensure a smooth takeover. Ladies, bring your guns.

  10. I also thought Mels was from the US, she didn't sound English at all to me. In fact she sounds a bit like she's a raunchy dirty girl from the South. Like she runs a bordello of wind chimes in New Orleans.

Kind of bums me out that she's from England, because I was really enjoying my fantasy of her running that bordello..

Not that I don't love England. I love all you English gals!

Love you too Lady V :Hug_emoticon:
