Hey ladies

I know this is an old thread-- but I have a question. I have noticed that Neanderlicious (with TAH) puts me in a grumpy/self conscious mood, even if I am wearing Alpha-nol with it (which usually gives me a happy buzz). Plus, I am nearly invisible, no matter how little or how much I wear. When I say invisible, I mean people literally act as if I'm not there. Does that happen with anyone else?

You can tell by the price. The phero enhanced PEs have the same amt of pheros as the regular phero enhanced perfumes. If it sells for $29.95, it's got the same amt of pheros. (With rare exception - ie, Unisexy). A FULL dose adds $30 to the price of a 1/3 oz perfume.

 

With regard to sandalwood - there's no way for me to know until I try it, but I find that the richer thicker oils agree with me better, maybe because of their weight.

Well, first of all, it may be a Sandalwood headache. I get those too, that's why I am super picky about Sandalwoods - some just give me instant migraines. It's possible this particular Sandalwood just doesn't agree with you.

Hi there Mara-

If you don't mind me asking, which types of sandalwood give you a migraine? I think that is happening to me too & I want to avoid it if I can. I get them so easily---I can practically get a migraine from LOOKING at the wrong bottle of perfume. Haha for instance, I don't know if you have ever been in that store Lush, but I can't even think about going in there unless I want to spend the rest of the day in a dark room with an icepack.

This has been discussed in a couple of other threads but if I'm not misstaken

 

* UN scented phero's contain 1mg/ml

* Phero amped scents (ie you ask for add-in's) is the same concentration as UNscented phero's

 

* Boosted scents (ie the premixed phero blends) have 1/2 or 1/3 of the concentration that the UN phero's do. But that's still very potent

I had the same question & was just about to ask. Okay so what about the private editions that have pheros in them? That, for instance, I can order straight off the shelf... but that someone else requested a phero add-in? Which category would those fall into?

Somehow the combo of these two notes is very "thick" smelling on me. I just mean there's a density and almost chewy three-dimensionality to it.

YES! you know you hit it right on the head... that density reminds me just exactly of a strawberry flavored Starburst candy. That 'thickness'... chewiness... except with honey. yum yum.

I got this as a small sample in my first order, and I love it. It literally makes my mouth water. It's like super sweet honey, but as you pull your nose away, to balance that syrupy sweetness there is a certain depth that really makes it unusual in a good way. It smells as if it would taste like tangy *fresh* strawberries drizzled in honey with a touch of tartness. I can't explain it. I keep saying "taste" because like I said it actually makes me salivate.

Leather and Dominance are both great.....they both put me in my element....my man loves both of them on me.....especially the Leather.

I am so so excited to start trying all this stuff out. It is FASCINATING to me how people react to pheros. My only regret is that I didn't discover them a lonnnnnnnnnnng time ago.

I didn't mention it because Dgsweets asked about blends with Dominance rather than Leather.

Tabby is the only blend with Dominance available right now, I believe. The unscented blends are not offered in sample size.

Leather would probably be the best way to start out in terms of the scenario because then you could gauge if you need that softer touch of EST for your persona. If he wants a real Domina then Dominance might be a better blend to try but if it's only for play then Leather should be sufficient. Combining it with cops is fine if you think you need the extra cops for the situation.

Yes! that's exactly what I was thinking about the EST. The EST "might" make it so I could wear it at work...mayyyybe. I'd have to start out with a tiny bit & see what happens. HAHA

Sooo... a convo with my man today leads me to believe that he loves it when I...ahem...take charge at times. I always suspected this but today I found out for sure. I have quite a dominant personality socially (in a friendly way- I am not negatively aggressive)...but in the bedroom I LOVE to be manhandled. I have no problem whatsoever initiating the lovin... but I like it when he takes it from there.

Sometimes it takes a happy hour to get me to where I take the lead with total confidence. Needless to say, he has told me many times he loves how I act after I've had a drink or two... I just say what's on my mind and take what I want. For me it literally does act like liquid courage. haha!

So, since I'm trying to put together my next order, I'm thinking Leather with cops would be a good blend for me in this situation. What do y'all think?

I was only worried about it in social situations because I get major self effects from pheros and I tend to be pretty dominant anyway. I really don't want to come across as overbearing or boorish. For instance, at work, I think it would be a nightmare, even minus the cops.

I agree with Mara, I wouldn't worry about it. The amount of EST applies is so small that even if it would be absorbed into your bloodstream it's not enough to have any harmful effect on you.

 

The oestrogen in the OCP does increase the risk of having a DVT but the risk, though definitively real, it's not as extreme as the media sometimes portrays it.

The risk of venous thrombosis (VT) is increased with obesity and greatest in the first year of COCP use. Approximate risks:

 

• Healthy non-pregnant women: about 5-10 cases per 100,000 per year
  
• Second-generation pill users: about 15 per 100,000 per year
  
• Third-generation pill users: about 25 per 100,000 per year
  
• Pregnancy - estimated to be about 60 per 100,000 per year
  

Thank you so much for this!!! Lucky me...I just recently found out that I inherited a genetic clotting disorder from my Mama. I feel great on estrogen (loved this one pill I had been taking for years) but alas, can't have any more, ever. So, I am heartened to know that using EST on my skin may make me (and others) feel good...but won't actually make my blood thicker.

This was my initial fear in working with pheromones, and the very reason why I chose a silicone base for our early offerings. (The silicone I use is molecularly too large to be absorbed into the skin, so the product sits on top of the skin and isn't absorbed.) Anyway, Dr. Stone, one of our suppliers and a leading scientist in the industry told me that my fears were unfounded. He said that the amounts of pheros that could possibly be absorbed into the skin are so negligible as to be non-existent. I trust his judgment. But if you are concerned, you can always use silicone as a barrier between the phero product and your skin, or spray on clothes and hair rather than skin.

Great idea, and that makes lots of sense. I had planned on the silicone base anyway just to make them last a little longer...but this is definitely an added benefit. Thanks for your input, it puts my mind at ease!

What do you mean by OD? Are you concerned about a reaction you have caused, or a reaction that you have?

 

Certainly it is possible to use too much. And the reactions will vary depending upon whom you are using this on.

 

Remember, EST is only produced naturally by pregnant women. It seems to bring out the chivalrous/adoring/protective side of most men, and kind helpfulness from women, just as if you actually were pregnant.

 

But not everyone processes the chemical signal of PREGNANT as a good thing. Some men, especially younger ones, will run for the hills when exposed to EST.

Pheros are chemical messages to the brain - they do not need to be processed logically to garner a response.

 

Effects of wearing too much: Making men want to flee, or conversely, making them treat you so delicately, they act as if you might break. Some guys don't respond well to it because they prefer "capable" women, and Est makes them feel like the female is too needy or weak.

 

Also, a small percentage of the population find the smell of EST objectionable. If someone is able to smell it, and there's a LOT of it....

Okay that makes sense. I do have some "other non LP" products that have EST in them. I am pretty sure the concentration of EST is really low, as I can't really smell any pheromone smell at all (and I have the worlds MOST sensitive nose when it comes to pheromones). However, my boyfriend is ALL OVER ME and Mr Lovey-Dovey-Cuddley-What-Can-I-Do-For-You-The Sky-Is-The-Limit-Cuz-I-Love-You-Sooo-Much the last two days since I've been wearing it. I mean he is normally very affectionate but this is almost comical, especially cuz he doesn't know I wear pheromones. I guess I'm not wearing too much because he's not doing that thing where he treats me like I can't do anything for myself, which I really hate.

I just wanted to make sure I know if I'm overdoing it... or if I even could over do it. I love wearing pheromones because it is a fun mood booster when other guys notice me (especially in front of my man). A little competition never hurt, right!? I just want to remind him how lucky he is that I chose to be with him. haha! Sounds like I got a good man though, if he could 'possibly' be getting the pregnant signal and it only makes him want me more. yay!

Okay another question... does anyone know if wearing EST has any estrogenic effects on your body? I just thought of this yesterday. I can't take any sort of estrogen because I had a blood clot in my leg and lungs last year. Barely made it out with my life. I love how EST makes my man react, but not at the cost of my health, you know? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Right, PEs are Private Edition perfumes, which can take up to 3 weeks to make, but you're talking about custom prepared pheromone blends. These are things that we cannot just grab off the shelf, and we cannot prepare in advance due to the wide range of choices that we are offering these days. To carry each phero blend for us is a significant investment, and if we use up our supply by preparing too much in advance, only to have people order it in a different form than we anticipated....you see what I mean. We pretty much have to bottle almost everything to order. Thus the wait - sorry! I promise it will be worth it!!!

 

We do our best to get everything out as fast as we can, but we also cater to "emergency" situations. If a client wishes to pay for Express Shipping, we pop them to the front of the line as a courtesy. Otherwise, you are in a line of people according to order date. Some items are harder to prepare and take longer. Making multiple orders will almost always slow down the whole lot, and we will endeavor to ship them together.

Mara, you may not be aware, but you just made my whole ENTIRE WEEK with that statement. Please PLEASE do not apologize. I am not in any way complaining about the wait, I know how these things go. I am just like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning. I am all about quality over quantity (or convenience)--- so if something is AMAZING I have no problem whatsoever waiting for it. To tell you the truth, as soon as this order ships I'm placing another order STAT. Completely unsniffed! I have tons of faith in LP.

I suspect that the "PEs take longer" caveat applies only to NEW PEs that you have created and put into your order ... and NOT to other people's PEs that are already viewable and available in the shoppe, ie, here.
