I have a question about oil burner! Do scent smell the same on oil burner in comparison to scent from the vial? Does that make sense? Also.... are the electric ones good? I've seen some on the market and... they don't really heat up like candle ones??

Oh Beccah1!! Are you interested in an untouch bottle of WHo's that lady? I ordered it because of the wonderful reviews... Received a sample before the bottle arrived, tried it and realised my skin doesnt agree to it! So i didn't know what to do when my bottle arrived

I received a bottle of this which I gave to Quince because I thought he'd like the green aspect of it. He says he prefers to smell it more than to wear it, because it's a bit too floral for his liking. My impression was of a green floral with a slighty earthy drydown...but it's funny you should bring up Blighty because he had the same impression. He said it reminded him of the garden at the back of the house where he used to live years ago (in Primrose Hill, I think?) when it got really damp (which I'm assuming was most of the time ).

I would prefer smelling it than to wear it too!! Simply because the scent when wet brings me to my memory of my old school... The early morning of the green field in Spring The damp grass, fog and crisp clear temperature!!

Hi Bumbob, you will definitely like THE STAR I think!

 

Anything that has WHITE Amber should be ok for you, it's very powdery light.

 

Also, some just have a tiny drop of amber to act as an anchor. You will also probably like THE SUN very much, (it's a favorite of all three of us over here), the amber is really undetectable in that one. I think you will also like TRANSITION, TEMPERANCE, and maybe THE EMPRESS and WHEEL too.

Im very tempted to go to the website, click on the buttons and buy the bottles...... But, i've learnt my lesson and will wait My new year revelation for 2011 is to control myself from temptation!! There are ambers ( which i don't normally react well with) in a lot of the potion.s this month... I see THE STAR being the one my skin will say yes to!!! May be Wheel of Fortune too? Hmm...

Wet: sharp green - the scent reminds me of Pride & Prejudice the scene when Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy kissed... That grassy and misty atmosphere with the sun glowing through the foggy morning The scent really reminds me of the English morning... I miss how when you wake up in the morning, you see droplets on the grass, you smell that FRESHness of the garden/park/field... oh, I miss ENGLAND!!! :'(

Dried: I get watery floral and a bit of musk? If you like morning of glory, i think you will like Lorien's Forest Floor

Ba.... felt like i was drowning in a tub of coffee cream....I "washed" my face with this and it instantly woke me up from the challenging essays! The warmth of the water, the steam... the scent of the scrub.... It was AMAZING!!! This is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BETTER than Body Shop scrub i have at home!

MMMM.... I'm slowly liking this one!! I layered it with Garland and lace 3 and it is just yummy, deliciously sweet brown sugar on me :) Actually this combination reminds me the ginger tea i normally drink in winter! So it really warms me up in this cold cold winter!!!

Passion & Desire is DARK and SEXY! I love it! And I kept sniffing the back of my hand every now and then!

I have Garland and lace on one of my hand and this on my other hand... They smelt very similar when wet, North Pole is not as spicy as G&L3... G&L 3 is the spicy girly ginger and NorthPole is the subtle spicy man!

This turned a bit plasticky on me after 10 mins!!! Dohhh.... I love the smell of it when wet..... Yum yum yum.... May be itz coz im having my time of month..? I still love the scent eventhough itz a bit plasticky on me!!

After about 30 mins... i get faint scent of gingerbread... it's not platisky anymore and it smells lovely

SO i decided to put this on the back of my hands, neck and chest... and i felt so much happier.... There was even a SMILE.... it was weird coz i was doing the essays, feeling stress and cold in my bedroom before applying this!! I love the scent and the phero def. had some affect on me This stuff works better than Open Window, Tranquility on me! YAY!!!

THIS SOUNDS SOOOOO GOOD.... I'm sitting in a cold cold COLD bedroom at 3am trying to finish my essay and reading about this made me want some "HOT" COCOA!!!!

You can have any scent boosted with Focus POTION,mind you this will be 3x the strength of Focus Pocus...I would suggest Fawn's Celestial Dream,or Peppermint Patty Or you could get a bottle of unscented Focus Potion,and cover with what you like.

I get the best reactions with about 3 sprays of un-lace. I love it! Know what I have tried it with that is just the bomb? Blatant invitation. About two sprays of each, and people are really friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate you. Wore the combination of the two the other day when I went shopping at World Market. Bought a faux fur throw for someone for Christmas; it was $59.99. The lady at the check-out was friendly, chatty, and said out of the blue, "I will give you $10 off for it". o.k. I was happy about that. When I looked at the ticket later, she had charged me only $32.00 for it. I think this combo makes people goofy happy. Nothing wrong with that!

This one didn't work for me I'm afraid... It's too "perfumey" for me and the florals have a strong sharp note in the background which is a bit soapy & woody

Im getting that too!!! Thought i will be able to love this because there's no honey or spices.. but there's something sharp in the scent that really distracted me from enjoying the potion

I thought i was going to put it in my trade post the first 10 minutes wet on my skin... It smelt like thick chocolate honey on me... I wasn't sure because im not a big fan of honeycomb/ honey scent!

The scent became lighter and sweeter overtime, the strawberry slowly takes over but not for long!! :)What stays on the rest of the day is ROSE :) This is a sweet heavy rose to me in comparison to Ambrosia's rose Quite good for night time CLASSIC SEDUCTION is the right name!!!

So after about 45 mins, i decided to take this off the trade list and keep MY PRECIOUS in my little shelf :) MWAHHAHAHA.... XD
